Vu Televisions — Exhorbitant charges and poor service ethics ethics | |
I bought a Vu TV from Flipkart around 4 years ago . I recently asked customer service for a remote as it had gone out of order . I was asked to pay an exhorbitant price of Rs 1400 in advance before they would send it . After a few weeks I agreed to pay it under duress of having an original equipment from Vu . I was shocked that they now they inform me to pay Rs 3500. I can't believe this type of customer fleecing . Vu wants to charge 1000 percent more than the market rate of remotes ? I shudder to think what they will charge me if I have to get my tv repaired in the future . As such I am highly disappointed at their business ethics of fleecing customers once they have bought their product ! I would like this to be known to their management as an erstwhile customer.
