It is to bring to your kind notice that water pipes in rani bagh area, ambala cantt were relaid on 28th sep. 2017. The work was not properly executed by the contractor as a result there is leakage in water pipes. A huge
Quantity of drinking water is getting wasted daily. A number of complaints were made to the officials including sdo, je and xen but all fell to deaf ears. No action was taken except assurances. Two days back the contractor sent two laborers for repair work. Since last two days the laborers are in the process of digging the pit. The matter has gone from bad to worse. The road is converted into a pool and and incident can happen anytime. It is surprising that not a single official has visited the site for inspection.
Sir are we in a position to waste thousands of liters of pure drinking water? Moreover the safety of residents is at stake.
