I bought a tread mill from Propel fitness in Dec'11. The machines is sparingly used and as committed no periodic services were offered by this company. Now from the month of April 13, the machine is having problem reported with burning smell from the motor. I reported this imm. the 1st technician who visited did not know how to solve the issue also hence I have to report the problem again. Another set of technician visited and they did some adjustments. Now another new problem is added - abnormal noise from the machine. I reported this but no response. Now after my repeated mails another technician visited in July and informed me motor and bearings need to be replaced which will cost me 9500/ which is about 40% of the machine cost. This has happened within 1.5 yrs period. So I have asked for proper remedy for failure of high value components within short period, but I am not getting a right solution. One of the technician visited also informed that the products are having this kind of problem.
So why should I spend 9500/- within 1.5 yrs and I expect the company should accept the product failure and replace the components on FOC basis. I request for right solution
