Wbsedcl has given me over 15000 bill for 3 months when my usual 3 months bill is 4900 max, last year they charged me over 12000 for 3 months after puja,

This is pure ransom money and direct extortion and it does not matter who or how many times you complain once a bill is generated even if wrong the company will force you to pay the bill or they wi disconnect the connection this is a crime
The electric department is making Hugh profit and they mercessly charge ridiculous amount from public to enjoy their biryani party at evening ..

    WBSEDCL has given me 13000 rs Bill for 3 months of summer when my usual bill comes around 4500, last year too I was given 12000 rs Bill for 3 months after puja. The electric company is simply extortioning the public to fill their pockets, the service and everything is absolute gutter, the staff at monpur electric supply treat people like dogs and they expect absolute respect from public.

    This is not electric bill anymore this is ransom bill, pay the bill or we will disconnect your electric.connection that's extortion and ransom

      Dear Concern,
      Myself Abul Hasan, a resident of Lohapur, Birbhum. I applied for an electric new connection in the name of my mother named Murshida Bibi on 19.10.2019. My application number is [protected] and registered mobile number is [protected] . I Also visited our nearest electric office (Lohapur) several time (more than 15 times) but no further action taken. I also register complaint in their website but they closed it without taking any action.
      It's almost 2 years over. But still didn't get the connection. Please do the needful. I'm waiting for a positive response.

          I MD. Yusuf residing at ashraf nagar, buddha mandir road, sevoke road siliguri-734001, I would like to bring attention, that my consumer no.[protected]. From last 1 year I am receiving excess bill, earlier the bill was about 50% less then nowadays bills.
          It might be due to fault in meter or some other reasons.

            Sir,
            Payment for electrical bill Rs 3362 was done via Paytm using the QR code on the bill on 11th June 2021.
            Payment receipt couldn't be downloaded from the Wbsebdcl site.
            And not reflected in my account .Also the company is now warning for termination of the connection.
            We have already paid the amount .kindly look into please.
            Attaching the screenshot of the payment via Paytm as proof.

              I've paid the electricity bill through paytm using the QR code which was given in the bill. The amount was paid on 11 June 2021. But still it is not reflecting in the download payment receipt area in wbsedcl site. Please look into the matter as soon as possible. Attaching the screenshot of my payment as a proof. I also didn't get any message after completing my payment.
              Now the company has sent a message for disconnection of the electricity line

                Respected Sir,
                I would like to draw your kind attention towards the fact that my parents (my father, a retired defense personnel) had been residing in the village Ramgarh, Chandrakona. This house in Ramgarh had the Transformer along with the 11 KV line lying within their premises. Now, it is a normal practice to engage people for cleaning and regular maintenance of the premises. On 21st Aug 21 at around 12 noon a person doing the cleaning and maintenance was electrocuted by the 11 KV line. Immediately he was rushed and admitted to local hospital in Chandrakona Town. Although by God’s grace, the person is safe and his life is out of danger. We would be grateful if you pursue this incidence to higher authorities, so that the Transformer along with the 11 KV line be shifted at my own cost.
                In this regard I would also like to mention that we had been continuously applying for the aforesaid cause since 28th May 2016 in anticipation of such accidents (attached herewith the previous applications). I am compelled to state that - I would thank you from the bottom of my heart if this 11 KV line along with the Transformer be shifted before anybody loses his life.

                    My humble submission to you is that I am Shri Manas Karar Village and Post Bargachhia, District Howrah. I have rented it from Bhim Sadhukhan Mahasaya, the owner of the shop house. The shop was formerly a wheat mill. There was a disconnected electricity meter at that place. I went to WBSEDCL Baragachhia Customer Care Center to apply for electricity connection to open my new shop at this place. There we came to know that the application for a new meter cannot be accepted until the old meter is paid and the meter is taken away by the power department.
                    In this situation, I myself paid all the arrears of Bhim Sadhukhan Mahasaya's old meter on 07.07.2021 (Paid Rs. 17, 046/-). On the same day I applied for PARMANENT DISCONNECTION of that meter CONSUMER ID:[protected]. Installation no: 11222612.
                    But sadly, as a sick and disabled person, I have been repeatedly requesting the WBSEDCL Baragachhia Customer Care Center to open the meter for more than a month. But to date no solution has been found. That's why I was forced to remember you.
                    Hopefully you will be obliged to take off the meter very fast considering my current helpless condition.

                          I have installed my electric meter in 2008 and deposited the security deposit money with WBSECL however now i have sold my flat and want to claim back the security deposit money. When I have asked the electric office for the procedure, they informed me to bring the deposit slip which I have received before 13 years otherwise I will not receive the same. I said the same has been misplaced hence there should be alternate procedure since this can happen with everyone. They inform that no refund will be given unless we have a copy of security deposit which was give 13 years ago and are very rude.

                          Let me know the alternate procedure to claim the refund

                            I had paid Rs 22660 on 4th Aug 00:13 AM through Google Pay by scanning the QR code in the Bill.This payment is not reflecting in my account. I have raised Docket no. 42981864 and 43018879 from 5th August but no action has been taken on the same..                                 Wrong meter reading

                                I get my bill via online and sms. Because wbsedcl sent a sms at the time of meter reading no one present. So wbsedcl sent quarterly bill by estimate. According the bill, meter reading showing 3731.00 but actually meter showing 3631.00. There is 100 unit difference between actual meter reading and bill. So I launched 2 time online complaint but within one day complaint status showing closed without any resolution. So I approached wbsedcl BANSDRONI...

                                I paid the electric bill to WBSEDCL on 07.08.21 through UPI on Phonepe, the money was debited from my bank account, but the bill has not been credited yet and has been returned to my account. In this case, you will have to figure out how to get the money back.

                                    I have sifted at kestopur north 24 Parganas and here power cut/ power outage going on and on in frequently basis, in this corona pendamic situation where Work From Home Is a huge part of our lives and it is happening for 11-5 pm which is a huge time of hour work time for so long … Whyyyy???? So poor service's how can I work run my family tell me ?? What taking so long to repair that you guys are announced it will happen continuously total august to till september 2021?? And this is the Government of west Bengal who is committing such failures in cities then what you guys are doing in villages.??                                       I have paid a bill amount of 3648/- on 9th August 2021 at 1:48 P.M. through UPI . My consumer number is[protected]. My UPI TRANSACTION No. is[protected].
                                      But it is showing that the payment did not happen tough the amount has been deducted from my bank account.
                                      Therefore I am requesting the computer authority to look into the matter.
