West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company [WBSEDCL] Complaints & Reviews

I've a open docket to WBSEDCL. I've called to customer care so many times but no one answer to take call. My docket number is 25671936. I docket to care on 30/08/19 and today is 24/09/19. Almost one month has gone. Can you say, how much times I will wait for it???
Kindly solve my problem as soon as possible.
If my docket has not been solved within 2 days, I will take any legal action against company....

Sir,
In our locality 2 years ago a electric post was installed with naked wire connection. At that time, that was no problem, as there was no two storied building. So the wires were less riskier then. But now 1building is developed to 2storied. And day by day others are also to be done. So the naked wire is being a cause of huge danger as it goes past just 1 feet distance, which is very much within reach of any one.

So...

I submitted a complaint vide docket number 25485077 dated 24/08/2019, regarding defeative & stop electric meter of wbsedcl but as on date no action has been taken by the wbsedcl authority. My meter stopped providing reading since november 2018.
Each time it took two days to lodge the complaints, and the staff of wbsedcl, natunhat ccc are very rude and ignorant. They are always busy with the private contractor.

There are prolonged power cuts in our area ( ie BANGALPARA, Kolkata 700103 under Boral wbsedcl) on every Sunday usually from 8am to afternoon. Repeated complaints yielded no results. Nobody in Boral wbsedcl office/ Station Manager/Supply office/customer care takes calls on Saturdays leaving us helpless. Complainants to help-line numbers yields no result....

The supply of electric current is undoubtedly, very very poor and insufficient to our industry needs and especially to all other factory sites where machine work and labor are concerned.

Notwithstanding of several requests and pleadings, to ur deptt. Of barrackpore office, they didn’t do anything to improve and or ameliorate the continuous supply of electricity to all other factory sites at our industrial area of bolagore...

Hello sir i am suvojit sarkar.. An i am reanted a flat at kolkata salt lake sec 1 bidhan nagar.. I do a night shift job 8 pm to 6 am.. Only i use my electric 6 am to 8 pm.. We have a electric connection consumer id[protected]. On 19 aug 2019 the area manager disconnected my connection and show defect found in my meter and fine up to 164507/-. We have already submitted a application on 30 may 2017 vide receive no 170 by electric department authpur electric office regarding change of defective meter. But no action taken by the area manager for change of defective meter....

Where do i find the installation number or installation type. I couldn’t find in the electricity bill so i tried to get myself registered online and the wbsedcl website still ask for installation number so i m not able to register myself online too. I really need to know my installation number or type for various other purposes too. Kindly guide me asap....

This is to lodge a complaint about 3 employees who misbehaved with my mother when she visited their office to submit documents for a new connection. A guy named "biren ray" was the mastermind, he was too harsh and show an arrogant behaviour to her. Today 26th august i had tried to pay by wbsedcl electricity bill through wbsedcl.in. I chose the quick pay option and then after entering all my information, i opted for billdesk option. And then i chose the upi option and entered my google pay upi id. I got a notification from the app to pay the money. I did so and waited after coming back to the website. After sometime i saw a writing amount not get paid...

After three months of connection i did not get any bill. So I used to visit the electric office. But the staffs told me that there were not any master card or record in the office. Last month reading, my electric bill was
Absart. Generally my monthly bill was
Rs. (700 to 800). But last month it was
Rs. (3, 960 × 3)=rs. 11, 741/-;
What will happen? And you are charged rs.8.99/- per unit. It is totally un athuantic.

A fixed unit charge will may applicable.
And every month you should also send your representative to take...

This is complaint for the poor electricity supply to our place for which everyone is suffering in this hot summer days.
Very poor electricity supply in our area... That is rajganj of jalpaiguri district, pin-735134.
Without any reason there is a power cut for 5-6 hours in this hot summer days.
Even if there are some wind or a 2-3 drops of rain... They will cut the power off!
Please look into this matter and try...
