Sir,

I, DEBU PRASAD SARKAR, an electricity consumer of WBSEDCL, regret to inform you that I want to register a grievance relating to the misbehave done with my wife of age 56 yrs by the meter reading collector personnel on 29/07/2014. This same incident also done by the same person on 20/04/2014.

I am an old consumer of WBSEDCL since 1989. My meter is installed at an height of 6 feet from ground to avoid child contact by the WBSEDCL personnel. My meter loading capacity is increased, meter and associated load wire from post is changed and many rectification done but no question arises to lower the meter till 19/04/2014. Meter reading is clearly viewed where it is installed by the WBSEDCL personnel sine 1989 and no problem arises.

But both incident during collection of meter reading on 20/04/2014 & 29/07/2014, the collecting personnel forcing to reduce the meter height arrogantly and threatening otherwise won't collect the meter reading in future or may take wrong reading and that will be our responsibility. I telephoned Mr. ghosh, station superintendent, Kampa CCC, and describe the entire incident but he also raised question regarding the issue and forcing us to follow the verbal instruction without survey. No written instruction is provided by the station superintendent regarding the issue till now. I never expected this type of ill treatment from wbsedcl.

I felt totally distressed regarding the incident as I am of age 60 yr and my wife of age 56 yr and we alone reside in this house now and if this type of threatening still occurs this way then I have to move to higher authority with petition to stop this humiliation and threat done to my aged wife.

Hence, it is my utmost request to look into the matter and kindly take needful step to stop this menace and humiliation by the meter reading collecting personnel of WBSEDCL at your earliest convenience and obliged.

    I had applied for a new domestic service connection on 28.04.2014. But after repeated enquary the station manager did not given any new connection on my home.

    I'm attaching herewith the copy of reply given by a.E. & station manager, andal c.C.C. On 08.05.2014.

    I cann't understand why new service connection on my is not given till date.

      MAIN PROBLEM IS TRANSFORMER GIVES TWO PHASE LINES BUT DOES NOTGIVE THREE PHASE LINES .So submersible does not run .I ONLY WANT TO GET SOLUTION

        I am a consumer of WBSEDCL, Consumer ID is[protected], Tarrif class- A(DM-R), I am belong to under Chuanpur, Berhampore, Murshidabad (West Bengal) Eelectric supply office. On[protected] afternoon my line has bee disconnected without any notice or verbal information. As well as I know that I have no outstanding dues.In this situation I complain to customer care no-[protected]. I spent whole night totally dark next day on[protected] morning some electric supply staff come and inform me that I have outstanding dues thus my line has been disconnected . I want to produce my payment receipt to them but they ignore to see it and say me to contact with S S. But unfortunately SS office is closed on Sunday. All staffs of SS office are enjoying holiday.           Respected Sir, NABIN CH, MAJI, Consumer Id :[protected] Installation No : 3339545 I have a house near Chitra Cinema, Burnpur, which I have given on rent to one Mr. Tapan Rai. I am staying in Kolkata. But he is refusing to pay last one year’s electricity bill for the electricity he has already consumed. This has resulted in a big pending unpaid bill amount of over INR 13, 000 (Thirteen thousand rupees) which is growing day-by-day as WBSEDCL is adding up late fines and penalties for the unpaid bill. I suspect corruption, in connivance with my tenant, of the persons in WBSEDCL authorized to check meter reading and generate bill and those responsible to cut the electricity connection if the bills are unpaid. Since, if they had done their jobs properly, they should have disconnected the electricity connection to the house long before the bill added up to such a large amount. Maybe the tenant has bribed the person responsible to cut the electricity connection if the bills are unpaid, to delay his job; and that is how such a huge unpaid bill has accumulated. Please kindly guide me on how to get redressed for this injustice committed by my tenant. Since I am staying in Kolkata, I am unable to peruse the matter regularly with intensity, and also the tenant is not receiving my phone calls.             It is really a matter of surprise that WBSEDCL (Rishra) is using poor quality ink in customer bill printing. I don't know whether it is a problem of ink or the paper which is being using for preparing the customer bill which is supposed to be kept for three months for payment. Moreover after completion of 1-2 months you cannot find anything in that bill except the white paper. Despite of that if you go for the payment, you will be asked to confirm your consumer no from the station manager. Above all misbehave after making payment, throwing balance money at you in the counter is free with harassment. Now my question is WBSEDCL is covering Bally area also and there every customer is getting precise bill which can be kept for long time, then why Rishra WBSEDCL is continuing with the same paper and ink which is being converting in the white paper after a while.

This fault happen not only at out factory but total Tetultolla, badu road area. When this fault happen we contact to Abdalpur Distribution Centre then they inform that due to changes of Supply Line this problem is arrised and it will take time for 5 to 6 hours to normal supply. On that time we and others factories have to run Generator to maintain production and its an unnecessary extra burden to us which we can't bear for long time. Also we inform you that when above fault is happen then we can not consumed the Electric Power as a result we faces extra huge amount burden and also your department can not get any Revenue from us/other factories on that time. We have faced a long term problem of Non Receiving of our Spot Reading Electric Bills from last 9 months. I and my spouse have already met your responsible executive at least 4 to 5 times and the effect of take small pieces of papers and write down 3 dates with the consequent average monthly amounts from his desktop and asked to deposit this amounts as my monthly electric consumption charges. Each and every visit of ours' - your executive assured to reach the computerised bill at our door step with in 1 or two days and the next bill should generate with the effect of spot reading bill, but we have still deprive to receive the spot reading bills from the last 9 months and paid the hand written amounts by your executive. We have compiled to launch this complain just because of fear to pay a big amounts at a time for the negligence of your executive only - not ours, once we missed to pay the same with in the due date decided by you just because of our financial crisis on that time - then as a result of it you will disconnected my connection and it's a bad patch in my records with your precious authority - I just try to over come the adverse situation to come. Therefore - requested to you please arrange to send your concern persons to take the meter reading as per the schedule periods and generate the spot bill for making payments swiftly. Honestly waiting for your reply by expedite my recent Spot Electric Bill with the basis of my meter reading and regularize the same. Thanking in advance for your anticipation.                   Consumer no.-S370679 C/O.-Bhairab Gour Vill-Bagdoba P.O.-Modanmohanpur P.S.-KOTALPUR DIST.-BANKURA PIN-722141 Mobile No.-[protected] Respected Sir, Meter No- T[protected] phase meter) was connected in my S.T.W.-196 connection in Nov., 2012.At the end of Jul, 2013 reading of the meter was 06727 Units.Thus total unit consumed 3*06727=20181 Units. But in Aug., 2013 3 phase meter was connected (Meter no-RSX60723) in my connection.At the end of Jun., 2014 total consumed units are 7730. Therefore (for meter no T2066538) in 9th month total consumed units was 20181 but (for meter no RSX60723) in 11th month total consumed unit 7730.How this is possible.I think Meter no-T2066538 was wrong reading.Please take a action immediately in this case.

                        Respected Sir, I am very unhappy to inform you that we are facing a rapid low voltage electricity at our homes.I am a resident of Sodepur Ghola (24 Parganas-North), Sub station- Ghola, My consumer No.[protected] We the resident of this locality submitted a duly signed application to our Ghola electricity office for giving double phase but till now there is no response from your side. Hence we are facing extreme problems with electronic gadgets at our house which are getting damage very often due to low voltage. In this summer all the fans as well as all the electronic gadgets are not working properly due to low voltage. Every month we are paying electricity bills on right time we are not getting the proper services from this department. If you please look in this matter as soon as possible then it would be very much helpful for us.                           My consumer No with WBSEDCL is[protected]. I am a domestic consumer of electricity in KOLAGHAT area. On 01-aug-2014 I paid an amount of Rs. 1737.39 to WBSEDCL as electricity charge for may- 2014 through Net Banking of icici Bank where I hold an account. After completion of transaction the Bank certified payment to be successful and furnished Reference ID [protected] & Transaction Remark BIL/[protected]/bal/WBSEDCL_MICI340 . But surprisingly no cyber receipt was generated by the vendor WBSEDCL which is usually done by all vendors including BSNL and others immediately on completion of transaction through internet Banking. On verification from the Bill Pay site of WBSEDCL I find that the payment position has not been updated even after 48 hours of transaction. The amount I paid still shows as outstanding and due for payment in my account with WBSEDCL. In reply to my mail captioned, “Bill payment to WBSEDCL- Payment not reflected in WBSEDCL s site” the Bank concerned has informed me as “The transaction done through Internet Banking is a successful transaction and has been forwarded to the Concerned Vendor. The confirmation of the transaction is already remitted online

                              my consumer id is[protected]. we are experiencing a powercut since morning today (21/06/2014) 10.00 am. till I am witing this complaint no resumption of power. My point is I have made almost two hours trial to call to get connected to the Burdwan zonal custom care to know about the status of power resumption. It remaind all in vain. After a several time failure I got connected to one person who seemed to be very annoyed to get connected and disconnected immediately. This way I called five different personnel to the call center and finally one lady gave me a complaint number. After I got some number it's almost one hour: no power, no response. What a terrible service from the operators ! I failed to connect the local Mallarpur ES - which became unanswered for several trial. I think the customer care service of the the WBSEDCL for birbhum district should be improved - at least they should respond once the line is connected. Moreover the telephone of Mallarpur ES should be attended by some person so that we can get immediate service about power failure. The staff sitting in the Burdwan zonal custome care center are very impolite and rude to talk to. Thanking you. Dr. Mukherjee

                                To the CEO of WBSEDCL, Respected sir I'm bharati mandal, i am using domestic electric connection from your nimpura(paschim medinipur)substation to ruisunda mouja near silpagram.due to heavy strom on 15.06.2014, 12 poll has broken.very next day i ve inform to our customer care no.they gave me a complain no.with this complain no i contact to the concern department.but no result.next day again i called up to the customer care no, and have given me a new complain no.again i went to the substation.the station mgr assured me that he will send the contractor.bt till date no result.the three complain no.are.3599264, 3607148, 3616774.consumer id:[protected].people are facing problems.plz take necessary action on this.thanking you.yours faithfully bharati mandal.

                                  Sir, I intend to draw your kind attention that it has came to my notice that huge amount of electricity has been theft from Namely -- Murari lal agarwal, Address -- Garikhana, gyalabandh para, P.O-&-Dist--purulia-723101, cosumer, I.D, NO[protected] which is the huge lose of govt revenue & also govt properties.I had been complaint to Asst.Eng in purulia in electricity department but they are not interested to any action & stop theft. I therefore request your honour to take necessary step against theft. Immediate step must be taken in this regard. Your early action in highly solicitude & will be save govt revenue & properties.

                                    To CEO of WBSEDCL Respected sir, I am Bapan Kumar Dey, I am use domestic Electric Connection from Your Amtala(South 24pgs, WB.) substation to Andharmanik, Julpia. But Your Electric supply is very poor(eg. 2 to 3 hours against 24hours last three days) continuously, thats why People facing so many problems.                                       i am from 309 gazi bari more birati kolkata 700051 ph no [protected], and we are facing frequent power cut . during power cut it takes 3 -4 hours for power to come. so if this situation is not handled properly we will be forced to take strict measures .
