Acute Low voltage against connection bearing Consumer no. DO53187 and the above complain was repeatedly brought to the notice of the Station Manager ,WBSEDCL, Santragachi, Howrah-711112 but the same is still unattended and I being a bonafide customer sufferring a lot and couldnot find any solution from the above orgnisation. Please look into the matter urgently and reddress the same at an earliest.

      I am Nanigopal Bhattacharjee (CON NO: E061665, CON ID:[protected] is writing to draw your kind attention to the fact that we, the inhabitants of Kalyangarh ward no.9(municipal ward no.8) are facing a lot of problems for low voltages. The voltage goes down in the evening and continues till the night. As a consumer, i have complained this matter to the Ashoknagar Group Electric Supply in the year 2011. Also the inhabitants of this municipal ward have submitted a mass petition for this matter but no actions have been taken by the authority. Under the circumstances, we request you to look into the matter and take necessary actions as early as possible, so that we the normal consumer will be relived from unnecessary harassment.

      I am a consumer of WBSEDCL, Birati Group. The residents in our locality (Friends Park, Near 6 No. Railway Gate) facing low voltage problem for a long time. When contacted Birati Office they informed that they are aware of the problem and told us to complaint when we are facing it badly through toll free number provided the complaining. When contacted over toll free number they informed work is in progress and it will be solved shortly. But the problem continues, sometimes voltage falls even to 140 - 150 volts and Tubelights are even not working. ACs are not working at all. AC compressors are trying to be on and in this way ACs are not working but meter reading is going up.

      Here it will not be out of place to inform that on 11.05.2013 we have submitted a mass petition to the Station Manager, WBSEDCL, Burati Customer Care informing this problem for the first time. Please look into the matter.

        Subject: - Irrelevant Huge Electricity Bill

        I have received an extraordinary abnormal Bill of Rs.1140, 1400,1401 for the month of January, February and March 2011 respectively after new meter installation in my rented house in Kestpour(Net Amount for consumption of 987 Units. It appears to me very high because I used only fan, tube light and fridge during that time frame and save electricity whenever applicable.

        I rented the flat on 1st of November 2011 and submitted monthly bills of 38 rupees for last five months as meter was not working at that time but all of a sudden I get a huge bill amount which mentioned the consumption for last three months i.e. January, February and March. I am afraid that there is some false reading due to some fraudulent activity. Also let me know that is these particular bill for last three month usage or for the entire last year as before that some other person was there in the rented house.

        Therefore, you are requested to kindly enquire the matter and let me know on what basis (rate) the billing has been done and kindly provide me the monthly consolidated bill.

          But nothing has happened from 14/11/2011 till date except I am paying extra charge or over billing of Rs 2000/-. In March, 2012 also may be I will get WBSED Electribity Bill of amount more than INR 2751/- (My Last Bill Paid). I have every document, bills etc as a supporting evidence with me on whatever I am claiming. Please help me.

            Respected Sir,

            Sub : Disconnection o[censored]nauthorise Electric Connection in Flat 5/4(LIG) Phase-II
            KMDA Barrackpore (Ex-consumer No B-151106)



            I had already disconnected the electric supply and withdrawn the Electric Meter (my consumer No was B-151106). of Building No. 5(LIG) Flat No.4. KMDA, Phase-II Barrackpore in the month of July 2011.

            1. After withdrawing the electric meter, an unauthorise electric connection was taken from the neighbourers’ electric meter that is,from building No 6 (LIG) Phase-II by the present occupant (Mrs Moumita Dey) who is at present staying there illegally and forceably. The whole matter was intimated to Station-in-Charge Jaffarpur Electric Supply, Circle Manager, Divisional Manager and also intimated the matter Zonal Manager, Kolkata and CRM Cell Vidyut Bhavan .

            2. Accordingly, Jaffarpur Electric Supply Barrackpore was disconnected the unauthorise connection twice.


            3. Again the unauthorise electric connection in my flat Building No 5 (LIG) Flat No. 4 had been disconnected by Jaffarpur electric supply office,Barrackpore on 01 Feb 2012. Now, it has come to my notice that again the present occupant in my flat has taken the unauthorise connection from the Building No 6 (LIG) Flat No. 4 Phase-II KMDA Barrackpore, with the help of one of the flat member. In spite of repeated disconnection o[censored]nauthorise electric line,this is once again very very illegal and in contravention to the Rule. But Electric Supply Jaffarpur office is not taking any strict action against her (present occupant) whereas she is doing this mistake repeatedly and knowingly and I feel that Jaffarpur Electric Supply is very much aware the whole matter.

            4. Sir, I am still owner of the said flat and I want there should not be any interference by the local/party people. If any short circuit or fire incident take place in near future due to this hooking line, then responsibility may come on my shoulder like AMRI Hospital incident.

            5. Further, it has come to my notice that she (present occupant) is trying to get a permanent connection through the electric supply with the help of a respective people/person which is not understood by me, because, I am the still owner of the said flat. Without submission of any paper pertaining to the flat of her own, how she can be able to get this permanent connection in the said flat. Sir all these nuisance activities being done by the present occupant with the support of few local people as well as on the basis of false evidence.


            4. In view of the above, may I request you to look into this matter for disconnecting the above unauthorized connection permanently of flat No 5/4(LIG) Phase-II and also instruct them to take necessary legal action against the present occupant and member of Building No 6 (LIG) who is providing electric connection to the said flat illegally and repeatedly.

            5. An early action is requested.

              I am under Amtala (Kannyanagar) electric supply div. having the address Vill. + P.O. – Iyarpur, West Bengal, India, (landmark: Iyarpur Haldar Para, Chora Para). My application number was [protected] for new connection and earnest money paid on 06/Sep/2011. I have submitted the money on 21/11/2011 as mentioned in my quotation memo no. [protected]/quot/03. But still today (10/01/2012), I have not given the meter. In this connection I may mentioned that a person (just near to my house) got his connection five days ago who deposited the quotation money nearly one week after me. I have contact (tel call on 10/01/2012) to the customer care personnel who informed me that if I visit the Amtala elec. office with quotation money receipt then they will give me contractor name with details and I should contact with that particular contractor for my connection. So you are requested to do the needful action.

                I have get the Electricity bill of Rs 13000 & when i have done the complain (Complain date-13/09/2011)they rectified the meter found that meter faulty now they replace the meter(meter replaced-01/11/11) & informed that bill will rectified as per load till now it has not been resolve.
                I will be very obliged to look into the matter & take the necessary action.

                  It is intimated that I Bhaskar Sarkar Consumer ID A056316 in my flat no-11 at Surya Toran Appt Sonarpur. In the recent past bill period July 12 to Sep 12 which bill was given on 04 Oct 12 showing that prev cons 2371 and presn cons 3145.I personally check the meter reading on 20 Oct 12 showing that 2374. I noticed the fact in sonarpur office by givig application on date 30 Oct 12 Immediate Mr Alok Maitra send a staff with me for the verification of meter reading and also the servicibility of meter . The office staff took the reading and it was showing 2391.My above said flat is vacant from Apr 12 as I am a competent member of INDIAN AIR FORCE(IAF)and presently posted in Chandigarh (all relevant document was submitted with my application on date 30 Oct 12 & 01 Nov 12. I request you to look into the matter and give the correct bill so i can the amount in due time. Further also requested that instruct you meter reader to take the correct meter reading and give the actual consumption as my flat is vacant due to my defence service.

                      R.S.Bera Gr. Supply Nandakumar discontinue the power facility at my house on 12.05.10
                      Forcibly.

                      Though he was very much concerned about my prayer since 17.12.09 for conjugative
                      Times to take the corrective measure against unexpected excessive electric bill for the
                      Period of Oct-09-Dec-09 amount 20042 against 0.05KW (D) which is received at office
                      on17.12.09 / 30.01.10 / 04.02.10 / 11.02.10 / 20.05.10 and latest by 18.11.2010.

                      Where as previous bill amount was 76 and 38 paid on 03.02.09 & 29.12.09 accordingly.

                      Respected Sir,
                      I permitted Bablu Karmakar (my neighbour) to use my building premises for installing service angle when he was taking new connection. But now I want to repair & rennovate my house building and his service angle is installed in the place to be repaired. Further I consider that there may be problem in future regarding his service angle, so I don't want to reinstall this service angle in my premises .
                      Detailing this total fact in written (signed by me) I went to submit my application on 04/07/2012 to the "Office of the Station Superintendant, Sector-II, Badamtala, Burdwan". But the officials refused me to accept my application & prayer. They said, " Go to your neighbour Bablu karmakar & compromise the matter between yourselves, WBSEDCL will not interfere in this matter. "
                      Kindly inform me sir what should I do now? I am helpless.

                        Dear Sir,
                        I am an anonymous person unwilling to disclose my identity for some security reasons. I want a strict legal action be taken by the officers of WEST BENGAL STATE ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION COMPANY LIMITED against Mr.Ashok Walia,(residing at Shraddhanjali Apartment, Opp.Police Lines, Burnpur Road, Asansol-713304, West Bengal) for theft of electricity from his neighboring connections.He does something with the wires(connecting to his neighbors' meters) at the night near the electricity meter box,and in the early morning also,he does something there(for detaching his connection from others' meters) on a regular basis.There is sufficient visual proof so am complaining.Its been years now.He has two LCD television sets, two Air conditioners, and all standard modern electrical appliances that other people like us generally have.Bur still, during summers, when our bill for a 3 month period amounts to nearly[protected], his bill remains stagnant at Rs.800-1000 despite running the two air-conditioners for throughout the night and day as we use.I ask your authority to vigil the matter and visit all of a sudden at the wee hours of night for getting the proof.This is simply unbearable to see a person paying such low bill amount continuously for years with his increased number of appliances against the surging high bill amounts of others who use less no.of appliances for a lesser time,still ending up paying thousands of rupees. Such people must be punished.

I want a strict legal action be taken by the officers of WEST BENGAL STATE ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION COMPANY LIMITED against Mr.Bishu Ghosh, (residing at sarifa bari, ion road, kharaji para, pandua, hooghly-712149, state-West Bengal) for theft of electricity by bypass method in his meter.He does something with the wires at the night near the electricity meter box, and in the early morning also, he does something there(for detaching his connection from others' meters) on a regular basis.There is sufficient visual proof so am complaining.Its been years now.He has two LCD television sets, two Air conditioners, and all standard modern electrical appliances that other people like us generally have.Bur still, during summers, when our bill for a 3 month period amounts to nearly[protected], his bill remains stagnant at Rs.800-1000 despite running the two air-conditioners for throughout the night and day as we use.I ask your authority to vigil the matter and visit all of a sudden at the wee hours of night for getting the proof.This is simply unbearable to see a person paying such low bill amount continuously for years with his increased number of appliances against the surging high bill amounts of others who use less no.of appliances for a lesser time, still ending up paying thousands of rupees. Such people must be punished.sir plz take action against him.Belive this is a geniune case, you can see at this address.plzzzzzzz...he also sells electricity from his home.

                        Meter and uses electric line for building works very cleverly, he is

                        daily sufferer, we pay our extra local charge for this type of activity,
                        please arrange a vigilance enquiry back side of his home and take a needful action

                          Sir,
                          One of my neighbor Mr. Nabin Mondal, resident of the address VII+PO. Banganagar, PS. Falta, Diamond Harbour Road(NH 117), Dist. 24 pgs(south), West Bengal, PIN 743513, doing theft since around six years and now he uses electricity to operate very high wattage motors. So, we are suffering low volt service.
                          Electricity board cut his connention due to not paying electricity charges. We have charged him many times and inform electricity zonal office but no needful action hadn't taken.

                          Please take the needful hardest step to stop him from electricity theft. Hope hardest action will be taken.

                            The load shedding in the Kestopur Area along the VIP Raod has increased 10 folds. Every day there is a power disruption for more that 8-10 hrs. Also the people sitting at the sub stations and customer service cells don't even know the way to speak to a customer. They speak as if they are doing you a big favour. There is no scheduled time for power cut. It happens in midnight, early mornings and every such time that the people need power the most.

                            Why can't the organisation schedule the timings?? As such people will atleast know what time they can expect power cut and plan accordingly. We know it is difficult not to have load shedding at all, but a scheduled timing say an hour or two in the morning and another hour or two in the evening would also lead to the overcome the shortage problems for WBSEB.

                            It is so much to ask??? A simple plan/schedule....

                            Or is it the goverment does not have the willingness or the ability to solve people's troubles which the ministers/mla keep boasting of and promising every five years.

                              even after repeated complaints on the phone number[protected] as well as visiting the office personally, the department has failed to rectify the reason for no electricity for more than 24hrs. the complaint no yesterday was (31st july) was 13 and today it 6.....but still they have not done anything about it. kindly help us

                                I had applied on 05/04/2011 for new connection by application money of Rs.200/- vide receipt no [protected]. Again and again I had gone to Office for connection . They gave me quatation on 13/07/2011 and I paid
                                quatation money by receipt no[protected] by cash. I had personally met with DE Arambag, and he gave me hope for doing the work within a week. but the contractor whom he deputed to my work want to take bribe in various ways.but believe me I am a very poor man and unable to pay bribe. the contractor did not work in the way of lay out and do work in other way and misguided some common people . I have a very ill patient in my home. Electricity is crying need in my family. The contractor wanted to linger my work as I could not pay him bribe. Please tell me whether my work will be completed in near future or not.

                                    We have a problem with West Bengal State Electricity Board.Kanchrapara branch.I have lodged a complain with the help of IVRS system since last three months but after getting their service we are now facing the same problem again but now they are not kind enough to give us the service and excuse us.Today also I lodge a problem at 11.30am but till now we are in dark.                                       SIR, in three days continuous rain due to low pressure in west bengal from 15th to 18th so many electrical faults occured. but some one should be available to pick up phone to receive cmplain and provide docket no.but no one is available to pickup phone in the patulia,titagarh -700119 area. though state government declared no holiday on 18th & 19th for emergencyservices but no one is available.
                                      due to rain wall of our house became wet and giving electrical shock. my family is there with our daughter. situation is dangerous.but no one is there.i want immidiate action on this please do the needful. my consumer no.[protected]
