    Address: College Road, Bolpur, Birbhum

    My consumer number is[protected], Installation number3451264 BOLPUR. My meter was declared defective and replaced in November 2021 (Adjustment of defective meter also paid).
    The initial reading of new meter was set at 584 units.
    Now I got a bill this month( Feb 2022) and the bill was calculated of 584 units( I was out of town and did not consume a single unit).

    Bills are attached.

    Please check with the person who installed the meter and rectify my bill.

            I have paid my due bill amount on 4th February through online transaction and the payment was successful but bill payment from WBSEDCL'S merchant was showing pending .But today there are showing failed transaction. I did not recieve my refund amount. It's already been 4 days. And I already contacted with bank operator they are saying that payment from them side is successful. Here is the details of successful transaction.
            Hi Sudipta, Your UPI transaction of Rs. 1122 with reference number[protected] done on 4 Feb 2022 has been successfully processed from our end.
            I sent a mail to [protected]@wbsedcl.in but did not get any response.

              With due respect I would like to complain to you against TEGHORIA WBSEDCL Station Manager & one of the staff members is Mr. Prabir. I have already submitted a complaint letter to this office regarding abnormally high bill.Sir/Madam I would like to inform you that my meter was burned on 24th May 2021 & after the application & paying was 1136/- my meter was replaced on 26th May 2021, after that I did not receive my 6 month bills. In between I have paid the bill of the month of June to August 2021 which is Rs. 1980/-.Then I complained several times to WBSEDCL customer care & also visited Teghoria WBSEDCL office. Then on 17th January 2022 they provided an abnormal high bill. After complaining they came to check whether my meter was defective or not, sir, I would like to inform you after the verification they did not provide any documents of the verification. The staff & station manager is verbally saying that meter is absolutely ok. After that I have again asked them to rectify my bill as I my average bill amount 850/- approx so, it is not possible that suddenly my bill increases upto 2700/- per month where I am using the same electric appliances from last 2 years & I did not use any extra appliances. I have requested to verify my house electric connection, if I am wrong. But the staff & station manager are misbehaving with me & My father. My father's age is above 65 years. I visited again on 27/01/2022 at TEGHORIA WBSEDCL office & rectified the bill, the stuff whose name is MR. Prabir said I have bound to pay this bill & he will not not give any break up of my bill, We were waiting from 10am at that office & generally they have come to office 11.30am & station manager has come after 11.45am. As per their conversation on 27/1/2022 I have applied for check meter, but meter is yet to install again today I went to this office & asking for bill break up & asking my meter verification report but station manager given threatening to my father & told him to pay immediately this abnormal high electricity bill if my father will not pay & after the installation of chek meter, if they know that meter is ok they will disconnect our connection within a minute, at that time my father told him to station manager that my father was retired person & he cannot pay this high bill. My father told the station manager that he is only using a fan, 2 lights, 1 television because he cannot afford that much of a high bill for that reason he is not using any extra appliances.But station manager, Mr. Prabir & technical department staff threatened my 68 years old father. After that his blood pressure is falling down & now he is ill only for that particular reason. Sir, this type of behaviour with a consumer is not expected. Now who will be responsible for this situation? I also went to this office today but the station manager was not present in the office as I was waiting upto 11.35am. I was late for my office, that's why I came out & my father was waiting for the verification report. But this is very unfortunate that Teghoria WBSEDCL stuff including the station manager's behaviour with a person above 65 years old.This is also mental harassment.
              Please look at this matter as my father cannot pay this abnormal high bill, Sir/ Madam he cannot afford the high electricity bill that's why he is not using any extra appliances, only he is using a fan, 2 lights, 1 television.

                I paid the bill amount of Rs. 527.00 for the period Feb'22- Apr'22 through Google Pay by directly scanning the QR code, given in the bill on 1st Feb. Google Pay shows that the payment is completely successful, but WBSEDCL has not confirmed it till now UPI Transaction ID :[protected].
                The due date is 7th Feb.

                      I have paid the electricity bill to WBSEDCL on 02.11.21 through my SBI from PhonePe. But receipt is not generated and on the electricity, the side bill is shown as unpaid till today 29.01.22 payment was deducted from my account with UTR:[protected] of rs.2119. My electricity Consumer id[protected] for whom I have paid the above-said amount on the last date of the bill. Please resolve this issue.

Money got debited from my account but bill payment receipt is not generated. It is still showing the unpaid bill. Please solve the issue asap.

                            I paid WBSEDCL electricity bill using QR Code printed on electricity bill with Google pay scanner. UPI transaction ID is[protected], to WBSEDCL (billdeskbqr.[protected]@hdfcbank), from Anindita BAG (Bank of baroda), google transaction ID is CICAgODRk50Vlg. But no confirmation message delivered in registered mobile. Online payment status shows no history available.

                              I scanned the QR code provided in the bill for payment of Rs 1256 through Amazon Pay UPI transaction. The money got deducted from bank and transaction is shown successful . But the bill payment is showing pending in wbsedcl Portal.

                                Dear Sir,

                                This is with regard to electricity theft and high electricity bills by WBSEDCL and inability to register a complaint online ( once u type ur complaint, the submit button doesnt work) and even at phone no-one picks up or when they pick up a consumer call, they disconnect it

                                I am a working employee and have a flat at the Green Vista Block C, Flat 3A, Narayanpur, Battala, Kolkata 136 and my consumer number is [protected].

                                It's been more than 2 years my flat is vacant and no one lives there. And the electric connection was disconnected due to non payment of bills(abnormal units charged, around 1200 units inspite of property was not used)

                                However, last week we decided to reconnect our electric connection. We paid for the last outstanding bill which was around 11000 rupees, along with 6000 rupees fine.

                                Now, as soon as the officials arrived and reconnected the meter, the units shoot up again showing 3000 units charged from the last time. The official checked that although the main electric connection line was off, the units in the meter were still running. The official warned that someone is stealing /connected their line to your main line.

                                Request you to please kindly take action. We won't be able to pay for such illegal activities.

                                I wanted to register this complaint but on the phone, noone picks and line disconnects. They have made a online section but very smartly once you press the button for "submit" it also doesn't work. Clearly they avoid any complaint handling but are quick to serve
                                disconnection notices.

                                I need someone to address this issue as I am not getting even a way to lodge a complaint with this company.

                                  I have never came across such a weird concept of billing. I noticed that we got the invoice of our electricity last paid was in sept and in month of Oct 2021 I changed it from comercial to domestic. Now I fail to understand that why I see Jan, Feb, and March 2022 bill.

                                      With due respect I, the undersigned inform you that, I am a poor old person still I fully paid the electricity bill with difficulties in this pandemic due to covid-19.
                                      I am bound to write the letter to you because I went to Keshtopur wbsedcl office but they did not took any action for LPSC money. I asked about my due bill. They give the due bill details, as per the bill details I paid the full amount. But later I received that I have to give LPSC money. As I am poor & old person not able to pay this amount(rs.1063) of LPSC money during this hard days(recently lost my wife in COVID-19 Apr’21). I request you to relieve or forgive this full amount of LPSC money.
                                      Related documents are attached to the letter. I shall be grateful to you if my complaint is accepted and please take necessary action immediately.
