Woodys Furniture — serious complaint defective product fraudulent company_ customer harassment

It is fraudulent company pls pls pls dont go for this. Am at present filling consumer case in district forum please avoid and if you re sufferer please speak to me to add your case also in appeal.

Don't believe any postive feedback on this site or other they are fake and posted by their own people.

My last email to this company is here and now i decide to going to consumer court to save many like me and you

Huge disappointment experienced with woodys furniture in last seven month. Though i am not only the sufferer many more are also facing these issues as seen on indian consumer complaint forum and other review sites.

Brief facts about my case is here:

1. We are facing harassment since 21 april, 2017 the day we booked metro center table vide order number[protected] from your site.

2. What is your company policy if you don't deliver on time i. E. 13 may, 2017. Is it refund of full amount to customer account automatically if there is delay in delivery? If so then i kept on waiting neither table came nor was amount refunded to us. Even none of your executive called us to explain why there is delay.

3. After due date even no call came from woodys side to explain the genuine reason for delay unless we made call at [protected]-1 on 17 may to know why there is delay. After that emails and call started pouring in from woodys side.

Lastly my faith dipped in this company when i got two contradictory replies on email and phone from executive regarding delay in delivery your delivery incharge yusuf then gave us excuse for delay in delivery as all of sudden company has received more than 300 orders and there is delay at the production end. 19 may 2017, on my email id got contradictory reason for delay in delivery as technical glitch where database in machine has crashed. How there can be two contradictory reasons. This only gives me conviction this company can't be trusted that believe in by giving silly excuses to customer assuming they can easily fool their customer.

4. On 29th may 2017, we got the defective, poor quality table having manufacturing defect. Please see the images attached depicting the poor quality wood part of table.

5. Again your people trying to fool us by saying it as transit defect. Why do transit people remove the paint and give poor finishing to the product manufactured by outsourced agency of woodys "cozey impex".

6. Further after several emails for refund they never reverted back and not responded (Will share all such emails if required) in spite of refunding our money back they had send us replacement without agreement and communication. That replacement we have never accepted reason being

A) our complaint for refund of full amount was never responded properly.

B) we never consented about replacement

C) it was grave manufacturing defects and poor quality no customer would like to have for price paid.

D) secondly even your executive at woodys assented about refund in case of delay.

On 6th june 2017, we wrote them “now we don't want any carpenter repair and replacement. Humbly requesting you to arrange for taking your table back and refund my money without forcing me to take tough actions against woodys”. 8. We reported the above matter to you several times and complained the same at the email address [protected]@woodysfurniture.in, [protected]@woodysfurniture.in, [protected]@woodysfurniture.in, [protected]@gmail.com on various dates and also reported the same to the customer care executives on contact number[protected], but all our the complaint went into deaf ear and despite all the aforesaid communications, neither the problem was addressed nor the refund was granted to us.
It is highly unfortunate and regrettable, as the online business is of trust and satisfaction of the customer and if the grievance of the customer is not addressed, no person would like to make online purchases and entrepreneurs like you are tarnishing the image of e-commerce business. That because of your aforesaid attitude, we have suffered mentally and is totally disturbed. 9. 19th july 2017, our legal counsel sent you legal notice elaborating defects: -

A. No proper polishing on table legs

B. Inferior finishing

C. Inferior quality

D. Crack marked on leg

E. Delay delivery etc.

And, my counsel called upon management to compensate the client as mentioned below on account of your aforesaid dereliction of duty and failure to redress the same and considering facts and circumstances of the case you are requested to:

(I) refund the price charges

(Ii) pay a compensation for harassment of rs. 25, 000/-

(Iii) pay compensation for financial loss/interest suffered due to your wrong doing.

We have no hope from goons operating at mumabi location and they are behaving in irresponsible way to customer like us. You are requested to redress the same at the earliest, we are completely fed-up with this company and even my soul has terrified to buy online furniture from woodys not in this life even in next also.
