I bought Yamaha FZ-X bike in exchange of my old bike (Bajaj Discover) on November 2021. I submitted all the hardcopy documents like original RC, Pollution Certificate, Insurance (still valid upto July 2022) for the old bike to Yamaha - Samukh motors in Medavakkam.
It looks like they have sold the old bike through a vendor named Mr. Arul from "AR Auto Center (Medavakkam)" to someone without transferring the RC ownership.
On 12th Apr 2022, I received challan for the old bike for the violation of not wearing helmet by the unknown person to whom the bike was sold by Mr. Arul. On the same day, I telephoned Mr. Imthiyaz in Yamaha - Samukh Motors (Medavakkam) and reported the incident and waited but no response. So today (14 Apr 2022) I went in person and met the General Manager of Yamaha - Samukh Motors (Medavakkam) Mr. Parasuraman to enquire on the same seeking a solution.
I requested him to speak to the vendor and enquire on the incident, but he insisted me to talk to the vendor. Since, I'm not aware about the vendor and never had direct contact with the vendor, I denied and requested Mr. Parasuraman (GM) to call and check directly. He turned aggressive and behaved rudely to me by starting an argument as if he doesn't care and I can do whatever I can to escalate.
As the matter was getting intense, I once again reminded him politely that I'm here not to fight but looking for a solution. As I'm unaware of the communication gap between Yamaha - Samukh Motors and the vendor (AR auto center), I once again requested Mr. Parsuraman to talk to the vendor. He then agreed and spoke to Mr. Arul (AR auto center) and told me that the Insurance copy was missed by Yamaha when selling to Vendor. Instead of finding from his records, he insisted me to resend to Mr. Arul via whatsapp which I did instantly.
How can Yamaha - Samukh Motors be so irresponsible about the documents loss and not providing it to vendor? In return shouting at the customer who came for looking for a solution.
I request you take 2 actions here:
1. Please take stringent action against Mr. Parasuraman GM of Yamaha - Samukh Motors for his ill-mannerism and for the loss of customer documents and irresponsible behaviour
2. Please take immediate action to transfer the RC ownership to whomsoever the bike was sold to by Yamaha - Samukh Motors via the vendor.
I have attached the following proofs:
1. Debit Note - Acknowledgement from Yamaha on taking my old bike for exchange
2. Challan - Violation caused by unknown person to whom the bike was sold by Yamaha - Samukh Motors via Vendor - AR Auto Center
3. Whatsapp - Resent Insurance doc of old bike to Vendor
