I had booked on the flight UDR-Delhi on 24th May (9I - 696) via Yatra.com.
This flight was cancelled by the airline itself due to technical reasons and SMS received from airline . (The same is verifiable via the flight tracking sites online where it clearly shows that the flight 9I-696 which is a AHM-- UDR- DEL flight went from AHM to DEL directly on 24th May 2023 )
Its been more than 2 months since following up with Yatra and I've provided them with everything
1) phone recording of date 24th May with Alliance air executive confirming that the flight was cancelled
2) Flight cancellation SMS
3) flight tracking information
They keep denying me refund conveying that the airlines has denied full refund but on asking to share what the airlines has said they say that we cannot share.
On talking to airlines directly they confirm that flight was indeed cancelled but they ask me to talk to yatra.com for refund.
Yatra is taking customers for granted and instead of providing value by expediating this intermediatory issues they make the customer work (put the onus on customer to get the mail from airline, even for a cancelled flight) For such flights they should be proactive in processing refunds but they make you work for refund also, let alone the problems you faced due to flight cancellation and getting a last minute booking as airline did not adjust even after it was their own issue.
