[Resolved] Yatra Online / Yatratrip.in — airline booking | |||
Dear Sir/Madam, Yesterday night [UK time] I booked a return ticket from London to Kolkata in Yatra.com. After I made the payment, Yatra has generated a Reference Number 33542878 saying that your PNR has not been confirmed. I called up their customer care immediately and the customer service agent said that he would arrange a call back and asked for my number. I have given him my UK number. Till morning, I have not received any call, so I called again and the agent has responded with the same thing [Someone would call me back in 2 hrs]. I have not received any call in 3 hours, so I called again and this time, the agent told me that someone would call me back in 15 minutes. No call in 20/25 minutes. Then I called up 4th time, this time the agent told me that if I pay another INR 7000, they can confirm my booking. I have asked for the refund. The agent said that it would take 8/9 days [for public sector Bank] for the fund to reach my account. I don't want to book my ticket with Yatra.com anymore but I do not have money to book my ticket from somewhere else, what do I do? Who will compensate me for blocking my money for 8/9 days? We truly apologize for the inconvenience you have faced in this regard. Our customer care team would have contacted you for all your concerns and we would want to inform you that after discussion our team have processed full refund to the same mode of transaction on the same day 23 NOV 2018. Please understand in case of refund to bank account/credit card, yatra only takes 24 Hrs to process your refund. Further it is the bank turn around time where private sector bank may take 2 to 3 working days and public sector bank may take up to 7 working days for the refund to reflect in your account. Please note this is the maximum time we take from our customer's, refund may credit back before the shared TAT. Should you require any further assistance, feel free to write us back.
