[Resolved] Yatra Online / Yatratrip.in — money charged, ticket not given

I am sunil totlani and i booked a ticket from bkk to del through yatra. I filled in all details and made the payment. At the end, my entire money i. E ₹53, 766 was deducted but no confirmation or email received for the same. I called the customer care that very moment and they said we don’t have the team that can handle this case right now, i will have to make another booking or wait until the team gets back to me the next morning.

Since i had to make the booking on an urgent basis i booked another one. Now, i have called yatra multiple times regarding this refund and they just tell me that the refund team will get back to me while not giving me any confirmation that the refund will be initiated for sure. Considering their image, i am really scared that they will put an angle to it and not give me my money back.

Greetings, from Yatra.com!

This is concerning your complaint regarding the Yatra Assure program under booking reference number[protected].

We have checked the details and would like to inform you that Yatra assure covers Fare drop protection & Free cancellation program.

For your booking, only Fare drop protection was available. Hence the same option was shown to you at the time of booking. Even in the T&C, it is mentioned that Free cancellation is eligible only for certain flights. Our team called you and explained to you the same as well that free cancellation is not eligible for this booking.

If at the time of booking, Free cancellation option TAb was given to you, request you to kindly share the screenshot of the same. We will refer it and proceed accordingly.

In this case, if you wish to cancel the booking, then standard cancellation charges will be applicable.
