Zolo Stays, is charging additional electricy charges as fixed charge/common area electricity charges to tenants during lockdown despite charging tenants at the highest rate per unit of Rs.8.5 per unit(commercial rate) to compensate for their losses. There is a court order which states clearly that Zolo cannot charge the tenants anything more than 8.5 per unit consumed by the tenant and that it is a legal offence.
