Hello team,
I am here to share my experience with zap cars by zoomcar.
I was a zoomcar fan before this incident. Personally i am very much disappointed and regret to get the sympathy from zoomcarand asking for money.
Before moving forward let me share the details what happned with this booking.
I have made the booking for ford ecosport before and then 2-3 days before delivery date i received a call from zoomcar executive and he explained that the booked car have some issues and in sent for maintenance. That is really appreciable. Executive asked me to swap with maruti brezza. I confirmed that i have no issues, but car should be in good condition. He agreed and we droped the call with mutual consent.
But when i went for delivery on 11th oct 6am. It was the zoomzap car and was already accidental. This was inside the maruti showroom parking. I already make the video of it and checked the basic things. As per machine functionality, no issues was there. But i am not a technical person that what i have to check before take the vehicle. I have checked minor things and take the vehicle away. Even when i was coming out from that parking area, gurad was asking me that this car is accidental. Why you are taking it. I asked him that this is a zap zoom vhecile and nobody here to discuss about it.
It was a accidental vehicle and engine lid was damaged. But i was not aware that it is not locked with the chassis. On the way to bangalore airport, on highway it just came up in the front of the wind shield and i was not be able to see outside. Vhcile speed was maximum 60-70km/h. For some how i managed to park the vehicle left side and with god grace saved my family.
I really thankfull to the guy who helped us to bind the engine lid with chassis.
After this incident, i dropped the car in zoomcar parking in airport. Because i was afraid, may this bonnet open up again. I was not be able to put my life in danger.
This is totally ridiculous from zoomcar... If the vehicle is damaged, why it is handing over to the customer.
Stop this zap option right away, it is good to take the vhicles from your parking locations. Atleast we can concern with them.
After communication over phone for a week, i was waiting for the response from zoomcar.
Today i receive the call from one of your annoying executive and she was asking for 10k damage. He was just asking for money, their is no customer's life value you have.
If something will happen at that day, then who will be responsible. You just say sorry and this time she was doing the same.
Also told me they will take an action on it with a legal department.
For what reason i have to pay this to zoomcar. Just let me know the reason. We are not here to repair your vheciles.
