[Resolved] Zoom Car — zoomcar declined license and deducted 50% money against booking id jps6t4b6r | |||||
I had booked zoomcar today and the total amount for the booking was 5625/-, which was to be paid upfront. After payment, i received message that my profile verification is pending for which i uploaded my driving licence. Zoomcar declined the license copy stating that my face is not clear in the image. My license is old and i have it in that condition only so i cannot provide better copy. As zoomcar did not accept it, it led into cancellation and they deducted 50% amount without any fault of mine. They should have done the verification prior to taking money from me. And if they cannot accept the license, they are not entitled to charge me any money. As this is complete fraudulent case, request you to look into it and help me getting the complete refund. Was this information helpful? | |||||

Kindly note, the license was declined as the image uploaded was not clear and we see that you have received an SMS requesting to upload the supporting documents. As you have canceled the booking, you have been charged as per the policy, please refer the link for your reference - https://www.zoomcar.com/policy#feePolicy As a one time exception, we have made the necessary changes and will release the amount through IMPS within 24-48 hours.
