Dear Consumer Complaint Team
I purchased two Zync products i.e Zync Z5 Phablet and Zync Z1000 Tablet via Indiatimes Shopping on 16th November 2012 and received the products on 21st November 2012.
Right from the beginning, I have observed the following issues with the products:
Zync Z5 Phablet:
The Sound suddenly stops working with all applications like music player, video player, ringtones,etc indicating that the speaker is defective.
The battery temparature suddenly goes above 46 degree C even when the phone is not charging or not in use.
Zync Z1000 Tablet:
I am getting 3G Network on all my other smartphones and tablets, however on scanning for network with Zync Z1000 Tablet, I am only getting 2G Networks. Also it does not detect most of the SIM Cards I have i.e Idea, Airtel Vodafone,Reliance. Only 2G Networks are available. However I am getting all networks on my other devices. I have read complaints from other customers too that their 3G doesn't work. Please check the below link for product reviews on Flipkart.com

I had purchased both the products considering their excellent technical specifications, however am very dissatisfied with the issues faced with both the products. Moreover the issues cropped up within less than a week.
On calling the Zync Support they asked me to try factory reset. Since it didn’t work they asked me to send the product to the Service Centre. A reverse pick-up was arranged from their end on 5th December 2012. The products reached their Service Centre on 7th December 2012.
After 6 days of receiving the product they called me yesterday to inform that the Back Panel is broken during transit and that I will have to pay Rs. 2000/ towards the same. What the hell is going on???
Zync is selling defective products, providing worst customer support and moreover cheating people by extraditing money. They are the biggest FRAUDS, I have ever seen !!!
I am really frustrated now and would like to ask them the following:
1. Were they sleeping for 6 days after receiving the courier? Is it not their duty to check the courier for any damages when they received it?
2. Who will compensate for the time taken from the date of purchase of product till date, since I haven’t been able to use the product ever since the purchase?
3. I want compensation for the waste of my time, energy and mental trauma faced due to this issue. I needed the product for my exams for watching lecture videos. Now my exams are getting over.
4. After carefully packing the product as per their instructions with Bubble paper and double packing, how can they say that product was not properly packed?
5. If the damage has been made in transit, why not hold the courier company responsible for the damages and why the customer?
6. If they can’t troubleshoot the Product defect, they should not find reasons to harass the customer. They better refund my money and close down the company.
I request you to initiate strict action against them at the earliest.

Yes, you are right.
Zync was cheated me as well the same way.
I was purchased Zync Z1000 and the product was worked fine but after some time my product got problem not able to switch on the product then I registered a complaint and they guided me to go their service center and their service center told me that Zync is not handling the customer properly in time and not send the product properly and most of the customers received damage products like that.
I told them that I already speak to Zync and they assured me they will do good service this time.
Then they registered the complaint and accepted the product in good condition only not able to switch on the product as the complaint. They do make sure the same the product was in good condition. Zync was assured me they will repair or replace within 10-15 day's.
But after lots of email communication with Zync support after more than a month I got my Zync Z1000 product in a damaged condition and I informed to the service center but they said that they already closed their relationship with Zync since Zync handling their customers and products very worst and all customers keep complaint them like that also they asked me to to contact Zync directly then I called and informed to the Zync and also I emailed them about the same that I received the product in damaged and non- working condition.
Then they registered a complaint and they said that my problem will be resolved within 10-15 day's.
Then they asked me to send the video, image of the product and I sent to them what ever the information they requested me.
Then they accepted this is their mistake and they arranged a reverse pickup and the product was delivered within a week.
Then they taken lots of time and get back to me that I was damaged the product and for that I have to pay Rs. 4500 but I clearly told them I never damaged the product and I have the proof and eye witness for the product that I received in the damaged condition only.
So, I clearly told them if they are not resolve my problem then I will take this into the legal action.
Now its more than 15 day's no resolution from them and no response.
So, I have decided to take this into legally with the help of National Consumer Helpline.
I noticed that you too cheated by Zync in the same way.
So, I kindly request you to join with me to take this for legal action. I keep collecting all peoples who are all cheated by Zync because it seems that the same way they cheating all their customers. No one is taking this into the serious action because each of their customers not know each others who have cheated the same way by Zync.
So, please join with me lets fight against them since in India also Consumer court is really much helpful when consumers going to them for a help.
Lets take this into the serious action to protect others not affected.
