[Resolved]  Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme — Poor mileage of CBZ Xtreme

Dear Friend,

The main reason seems to be teh petrol quality that you are using. Please never use Indian oil petrol, it is sold adulterated and will never give you a good mileage. If you are in bangalore use normal petrol from shell. if not shell use bharat petroleum and if BP is not around use HP but plz dont use indian oil. Use BP or shell and you will see the difference.

Poor mileage of CBZ Xtreme its impossible

Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme — oil leaking from cylinder head cover

Oil is leaking from the rubber which cover the cylinder head .After replacement with new cover the oil is still leaking.
Can we apply paste in the leaking area .Please mention some of the paste name.

Me too having the same problem.
I am using Xtra premium petrol in my bike and mileage is 35-36 km/pl.
I am also dissappointed by this factor.
Any suggestion for improvements in mileage are most welcome.

how can we improve mileage

i had purchased CBZ EXTREME black a one week ago...i had got a mileage of 32km/l.i am very disagree with this...i will go ride only 25-40KM/HR...how can i improve this mileage???????..suggest me as soon as possible...

well who ever has complained about mileage problem i think this is only the excuse for them to put down the image of hero honda company as i have bought new cbz myself i m getting more than 45km/l and i use my bike about 135 km per day well maybe the bike rider's use brake while riding or pull clutch while riding or even rid below 40 kbps so better check this things dude before commenting o.k guy's

my cbz xtreme bike is failed to give milage more than 32 km/l. it smokes in exuast.

I have been using the cbz xtreme bike since dec 2006.the very complaint i have been facing since then it keeps freqently troubling me when i ever i travel out in rain.every time when i complain to my mechanic in sri gopal auto service tirupathi ap. he just says its the problem of carborrater and cleans it.but the problem keeps on reccuring.the other thing is that when ever i go for servicing he charges for oil change but he never fiils the oil.

yes frnds, the suggestion which Ram earlier made r true, to maintain a perfect mileage drive ur bike at a speed b/w 30 to 50 kmph, and i[censored] drive it constantly at a speed of 40 kmph for 30 km, u may feel a change in the beat, u may feel it smoother and the piston works robust, this also improves ur mileage, better not drive ur vehile at a speed ranging more than 60. it is also true that petrol u use should be good, use shell if not go for Bharat petrol

I suggest u some tips for better milleage...

1. Always fill the proper air pressure.
2.Try to avoid sudden accelaration or braking.
3.Always drive in a aerodynamic prosture.
4. Your speed is most important. Try to keep your speed between 45-55 kmph.
5.Pay load of your bike is a another factor of get poor milleage.
Always try to keep weight below 130 kgs(including rider).
6.Always check the quality and quantity of petrol.
7.Service your bike every 200km.
8.Avoid hold half cluch.

my cbz x treme seat lock is mistake then seat is not locked&always open i reaquest supervisor but they said parts is not availabel from 2 months

i am very angry
their machenic is not perfectthey are not working

supervisor is not note complained
