[Resolved] Airtel — FRAUDULENTLY SOLD PRODUCT | |||
I am writing to you today in real dissatisfaction as I feel deceived by your sales team. I was using a Reliance postpaid connection prior to porting to Airtel. I got a call on the 28th of January to port out to Airtel. Since I wasn’t happy with the network reception of Reliance, I chose to port out to Airtel as I was offered a lucrative plan. Also, my friends and colleague suggested me to go for Airtel for superior network coverage. Now, here is the problem. I was offered a plan of ₹299/- by your sales representative. He said that I will be getting 1100 (Local+STD) minutes in addition to 500 MB 3G data. I agreed and gave out my documents the same evening (28th January 2015) both for me and my wife. A day later, I got a call for verification and was informed that my plan was for some 275 minutes STD and 225 minutes local. I disagreed and the verification agent arranged for a call back from the person who deals with the plans. The person whom I spoke to said that there was a change in the plans the same day and that I should agree to what the lady will be saying about the plan and that I will get the plan promised to me. So I reluctantly agreed to the verification agent who called me a few minutes later. I double checked with the person who had sold me the plan and he said that I should be getting the same plan for both of my numbers. When I got the first bill, I overlooked the minute charges as the bill for prorated for a few days. The bill I got this month attracted my attention and I found that I was given the plan which makes no sense at all. I was much better with Reliance than Airtel as this porting has resulted in a loss. I request you to look into this matter and get this sorted as it really has created a very bad image about Bharti Communications in my mind. I will definitely let my family, friends and colleagues know about this fraudulent activity and ensure that they think twice before going for Airtel.
