[Resolved]  State Bank of India — Irresponsible behaviour of SBI,Hal Branch,Bangalore

Sir,
I am holding an account in SBI ,Hal branch ,Bangalore
While i was withdrawing money from a btm layout ATM power went and 400 Rs was deducted from my account and i could not get any cash .
so i launched a complain against this more than 10 times in SBI hall brach,SBI head office.
I also submitted more than 3 applications and I personally met with the Manager and Concerned Transiction Holding team of the HAL branch.But Nothing happend From the date of Incident (15/07/2007).
Now if i try to call the manager of this branch he says"Forget that money ....we cannot do anything for you"
So please suggest me what to do???
If we as a proffesionals working in Big firms of India are Cheated By this Core Indian Bank then how one can think of giving correct ness to normal people.

i am residence of bhopal i am working as a civil contractor in bhopal and ihave got the work of renovation of old vidhan sabha by prakash jha production for which i got A/C payee cheque of RS 97, 734 after deducting TDS on[protected] of Indian Overseas Bank hamidia rpoad bhopal .Then i put my cheque in drop box of State bank of india where is my saving bank A/c on[protected]. Then on 10-02-09 i reach indian overseas bank for inquiry about my cheque clearance they said to come on 11-02-09 when ireach on 11-02-09 they said that cheque was not clear.On 12-02-09 when ireach SBI they said there was no information about cheque in register and ask to make enquiry in indian overseas bank.When next day ireach indian overseas bank the cashier inform that your cheque has been withdrawn on 10-02-09 and no further information will be given by them.then iput FIR in police station kotwali but ihae not got any justice till now.please help me as early as possible.

I had a horrible experience with the personal banking manager and also the branch manager. I went for an educational loan to University of Toronto for my research. He told me currently the bank has its audits going on and that I should return later. When I asked him when he said I cannot tell you the exact date. When I went 15 days later, he told me point blank that we will not process any loan application or do any work for that matter till the time the elections are not over. SBI should teach them some manners and ethics before presenting these managers to the world. Sick people who are just sitting and getting fat.

State Bank of India — Harrassment to Customers

State Bank of India (SBI) has a branch in Barida, Ganjam District in Orissa. The Branch Manager (Mr. Sumitranandan Mahapatra) has been harassing and misbehaving customers especially illiterate and women customers. This is only bank in that region, so they are monopoly in nature. Unaware people also tolerate all kind misbehaviour to get services.

1) He is making people to come at least four/five times to open a saving account with showing several reasons after producing one photo ID, address proof, still he is asking so many documents. Many people have never gone to school, how will they get Birth Certificate?
2) The officials denied woman customer not to visit the branch as their own property (as she complained against their misbehaviour).
3) One customer (illiterate) wanted a cheque book from bank. The Manager denied as there is no provision. But we asked just give us a letter mentioning the said reason, so the cheque book can't be issued. He shouted us.
4) Another customer was nominee of his father for a Fixed Deposit in that branch, which got maturity on 2007. He produced all documents - Death Certificate, Opened an Account, Voter Identity Card. But still they are not clearing it as the customer is not ready to give any bribe.
I have registered a complain in Customer Care, SBI. I have not received any message so far. Such arrogant government officials should be given proper punishment as they forget that they are there to serve the customers.

As a social worker, i want to take this case very seriousonly. Please help us...

I had to meet SBI branch manager Mr. Anil kumar Verma and chief field officer Mr.hriday kumar frequently because when I met to them they usually say I am busy in my work come next time in this way they passed one year.when I passe one year then field officer said in second year there is no provision of educatin loan. I complained this rude behaveour of field officer to branch manager they said i can do nothing.After that I said I will complain against you both people then they said don't threat me.Leave this chamber go any where as you likeand complain .Both people have common opinion in case of loan.first they are taking donation ie 2to5% of total loan and then they are passing the loan. they are cheating the people.I have not given the donation hence they did not pass my loan. they are playing with my career.I am helpless because other bank are not providing loan because SBI BARHAJ DEORIA is specially presicribed for any type of loan for my village.
So please take proper action against both people. and do something so that I might be benifited by education loan.

Normally the amount is credited in few hrs .Since te the bank employees are not coperating in refunding.I would sugeest close your account in that branch if feasible.

Sub: Regarding Home loan grievance and callousness of service.

I am a SBI customer (Acct Num: [protected]) who has opted for the SBI home loan max gain offer. I possess an account with SBI thane- Pokhran Road Branch.

I submitted all my papers for disbursement and handed a cheque for Advocate clearance report on 17th June 2009.
The formalities were thereby completed after follow-ups and the file, as I am made to understand has been sent to centralized Naupada branch for disbursement formalities as on 24th June 09.

However, when I call upon the branch officials for a follow-up, they give me vague answers on future course of action.
Moreover, I have not received any acknowledgement e.g file no/contact person etc to proceed further. I get responses that I do not need any such details and I shall not be in a position to get/track any status for another two weeks. Furthermore when I call the Naupada branch, by helping myself with the numbers published on the internet, I get no response. The line is continuously busy, goes into a fax tone or I am made to call some other extension, which never lands into a response. It has been a week and I am clueless about the progress, leaving me disturbed on this kind of treatment.

This kind of service is contrary to what is stated on the site- (Loan sanctioned within 6 days of submission of required documents.

The bank manager blatantly states that no enquiry will be entertained for 3 weeks totally, after which they shall start looking at processing the documents. Reason being backlog?!/Sluggishness. Can I please strongly urge you to help us on this, and ensure we keep the trust of the customers?

I sincerely hope to get a response from you and help me channelize this.
I am receiving no response on the ID - helpline.[protected]@sbi.co.in where I have written several emails, eversince 29th June 09. Finally today I have roped the IDS dgm.[protected]@sbi.co.in, chairmansbi.[protected]@sbi.co.in. Escalation Complaint Ticket Number : CC[protected]

Now it has been 10 working days and no one entertains or has any clue around timeframes/further processing. If you press them too much the manager states it will take another one month.

I am deeply dissatisfied with the response and the callousness around the SBI transactions. I am planning to move my decision of taking home-loan via some other reputed and customer savvy bank.

Education Loan — Behaviour of officer.

I have faced some bitter experince this situation is not only faced by me but it also represent the true picture of your banking system which is totally against the speech of finance minister, guidelines of RBI and scheme announced by different banks.

Mr. Manoj (Advance Manager) told me that we are not giving education loan to those person who does not have the Tisco salary account with us.

Vehicle Loan — Irresponsible behaviour of SBI

I m a MNC salaried employee of Carlsberg India Pvt Ltd, Gurgaon and posted at Jodhpur HQ since 2008 july. I had applied for a car loan for rs 314000 on 4.7.2009 at ur jodhpur high court branch. I had submitted all the required documents (address proof, salary slip, last two years Income tax returns, photo, last six months bank statement etc) on that day.I got confirmation on phone for eligibility from the bank & suddenly today on 29.7.2009 I have been told from the bank that it will take 25 days more to pass your loan as your documents will be sent to ur gurgaon office for your salary verification wherein I have already submitted my salary slip in which Income tax is deducted and also the company's address is provided. I want to know why there is a delay of 25 days to verify & what the bank wants to verify from gurgaon when every thing is there in 16No form, salary slip and my appointment letter. Sir, there is a very delay in simple loan sanction of Rs314000/, ie in total I have to wait for 60 days approx for this loan.
Sorry, I had taken my file back and applied it from another private bank, due to mis-handling the customer. They are working as uneducated people and just not want to work properly for the sake of Bank. If they want to relax then why should you are going with advertisement of Loans of lowest rates. Just relax & please dont waste the time of customer.

My name is Sunil Dutt Sharma, i am staying in East Delhi. i want to complaint agains the Cashier cum Clerk in the SBI Branch of Seelampur, Delhi-110053. Today morning i went to the bank to makes a DD againt the opening of Clerk in SBI PAN INDIA He refused to take the reciept and not ready to prepare any kind work without any reasons and he told me the server not responding but in that time all computers are working properly. i went to the SBI Manager, Seelampur Brank, Delhi-110053 to explain this matter but he is also regreat my complaint agianst the Cashier cum Clerk.

Kindly do some serious action for the same as soon as possible.

This is rakesh, sir I am the account holder of sbi mirzapur branch(UP). the branch code no. is 134. accualy sir, my ATM card stolen in last january. sbi complain no. is [protected]. I fillup the 3 times new ATM form but no response the SBI mirzapur.Bank not send my form in main branch. The bank process is very slow.

Dear Sir,

I went to open an account in your branch located at Hasanpur Road (Branch Code : 02944), I felt ashamed when I was forced to take up a policy.
When I denied to take up the same they told me that I will not be allowed to open my account.

Referring to above subject this is to bring to your kind notice that I wished to withdraw Rs.5000/ at SBI SIDCUL ATM(SIANO 1049601) at Rudrapur U.S.Nagar on 03/10/09 first instance the Transaction was denied one second try the transaction was materialzed but the amount released was Rs.4000 instead 5000/.Thus a total sum of Rs.10000/is debited from my account where as I have received only rupees 4000/.Therefore, your kind self is requested to look into the matter so that the money is retrieved/credited back into my account No.[protected] SIDCUL Haridwar.
