[Resolved]  Aircel Kerala — Lack of coverage

Well it’s true that the connections get affected when we travel depending on the network tower density in the area. I guess this is a problem with all the Operators, not restricted to Aircel alone.

I am an Aircel subscriber but have been forced to revert to my previous mobile service provider because of very poor coverage and great difficulty in locating Recharge points in the Palai Town of Kottayam District!
This is a very sorry state of affairs considering the fact that I have searched the whole town for recharge centres only to be advised that the nearest one is in Kottayam town another 25 km away!
This is totally unacceptable!

there is no consistency in range for aircel in alpy and tvm...it has lot of attractive ofer but poor range

Yeah, its true. With the recent launch of 1 paise plan from Aircel, i decided to buy one but i was told by the retailer that the connectivity is very poor in our area, Thrissur (East Kodaly). ALso, unknowingly several of my friends bought new Sim Cards of Aircel attracted by the 1 paise plan and now its of no use to them. Please, please I am requesting Aircel in order to achieve better advertisement results, can u please plan on finding a solution to these problems. Can u work on providing good coverage in all areas. I believe Aircel is the best and they can stand up to any competitors in the industry but they need to be more proactive. They should understand that offers without coverage is of no use and if they really want to sustain in Kerala, they have to do things diffrently.

i my self bought the aircel sim in paippad, there is good coverage there, but as soon as i went to Kollam District most of the places there is no reception especially in punalur. please rectify this issue.

Aircel-Kerala has Very GOOD Tariff Plans, but their Network is Very BAD! There is a lack of Coverage in many parts of Malappuram (Even in NH !)

I'm an aircel user in calicut... I agree that aircel is providin a vry gud tariff...But the connection has very poor coverage... The pocket internet connection(it shows that the connection is EDGE) is very slow than GPRS connection provided by other connections... It is not comparable to EDGE connections of other companies... I think even DOCOMO is providing better service than aircel... Guys its 8 months since u launched aircel in Kerala... N u r still sayin that it is because we have just started in kerala...

hey...am a user of docomo...the main problem is, , the network coverage is damn poor in my place, punalur..it dsnt limit to punalur but most of the places...if possible please look on this matter..or else the subscribers like me will be forced to change the connection..it may lead to weaken your subscribers strength..

Tariff plans & other value added services such as pocketinternet are really a wonder foryouth like us:but with the range out of our area of residence that to in thecapital is very disappointing revalation.
i personally own 2 aircel connection that i am unable to use inside my house.
There are 3 mobile base stations at a range of 100 to 200 metre form my residence and with all other mobile companciesable to provide clear, perfection in their range, imagine the worstsideof the problem...
As a coming up young company i hope all this problems are consulted

I am not here for registering complaints, I would like to know whether AIRCEL have network coverage in arakkulam village / idukki dist or not.

how disgusting the aircel network and its facilities. the only work of this network is to make fool others and make money.if somebody wants to complain about it, the representative says that we will soon fix your problem but i want to ask the head of this network, i don't care who you are ...MY RATING FOR YOUR NETWORK IS ZERO

There is lack of Coverage in many parts of Kozhikode. While taking the connection, I was told Aircel is having network wherever BSNL is having network, since they are sharing the towers. But I am not getting Aircel signal in Mavoor location eventhough I am able to use BSNL.

Hope Aircel will clarify or rectify the issue.
