[Resolved]  Airtel — AIRTEL wrong bill

When i Checked my Mobile bill for may 2013,i noticed that I have been charged 160 Rs . for 32 international SMSs from my number ([protected]) to "[protected]" on dated 03/05/2013 at around 11 AM. On the day.


It is very irritating that Airtel executives do not have any idea how these SMS's have been sent from my mobile and do not offer any help to track down the number ( Just in case if my SIM has been cloned ) and are insisting me that the call has been made by me and asking pay the bill.

sir i am a bonafide subscriber and user of Air tel services but the company wrongly charged std and local rate despite the several request the company did not setteled the matter and continuuosly charged wrong bill from me the company generated the bill on 07/11/2007 and they added rs. 998 for ythe advance rent for ome year and they also charged RS. 1198 december bill for one year advanced rental in first of the 998 they offer me 0.50 paise local and rs. 1 for std and rs. 200 discount for the three month .but they cointinuosly charged me std rate rs. 2.40 paise the company more than 25 day disconected my services.hence it is my request to you kindly take appropriate legal action against airtel company.

AirTel — wrong date of bill and wrong bill

my airtel connection has been done on 6 june 2008 but my bill has been sent from the date 22 may 2008 to 23 june 2008 and the fake billing has been done about my call detail

I have post paid connection of air tel from last 4 years, and i am paying regular bill time by time. But i got wrong bill on this month. the bill is of august 2008. i have made a complain in customer care service of air tel, but there is no proper response on that, they have given the reason that ' i have activated GPRS of air tel' and that i didn't. my average bill is about Rs.350 to Rs.400 every month, but on this month i got Rs.1489.31. so, please do some in my favor immediately because my paying date is 22nd sap. 2008.
Dear Sir, I am using Airtel connection since 3 years (my Mobile number is: [protected]) . Recently i have faced a problem with the service provider. In the month of march I received an incorrect bill amounting to Rs. 2549. In the bill there were some number which I never dialed. Numbers that are reflecting that I never dialed are: 5664469, 5664464. The amount reflecting against these number in the bill is Rs. 1548.

I have already complained many times to the service provider but there is no positive response from there - Complaint numbers: 21077206 and 21169953,[protected].

Please provide a solution and resolve it.second times i complain to you but i am still waiting for your reply.

This is to inform you that I have applied for the above Postpaid Airtel DSL line on 2nd June,2010 under “Browser 699” Scheme(Unlimited) by payment of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One thousand only) by Cash.time hardware charges & Installation charges” through your representative Mr. Mahesh Singh ([protected]) and the same has been installed on 5th June,2010 at my above premises.

But it is regretted to note that today on 15/06/10 I have received your Bill No.[protected] dtd. 9th June,2010 for Rs.601=25 for the period 08/05/10 to 07/06/10 wherein you have again charged Rs.500/- towards installation charges. Please note that when I have already paid installation charges then why I will again pay the same. I think your billing department has wrongly charged the same. It is very much disappointed the very first bill against the above Airtel line is made wrong.

As such you are requested to kindly look into the matter immediately and rectify the above bill and send me a fresh Bill to enable me to deposit the exact figure within its due date.

Your kind co-operation in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Sir, Vide Sl. No.8449702, I have Post Paid Mobile connection No.[protected]. Despite my request for Rs.690/- yearly plan, I am being charged for monthly rental Rs.300/- and even also being charged for free calls as well. I am also not receiving paper bill. Please ratify my bill at the earliest.

the bill no.[protected] of 21-1-11. mobile no [protected] the bill amt rs 1323.88 unusually high. ascertained from 121 two calls were made on 29-10-12 and 1-1-11 for 2m and 125m resply to 5664464.these calls were not done by me & lodged a complaint to ref 35680334. no response despite frantic calls[protected]. yesterday my call to floor manager and got a reply valid calls from this no . not willing to pay for the above two calls amounting to rs 996+taxes. please invistigate and respond imme

Hi,

I have Airtel Mobile Connection from last 4 years and I am alway paying my bills on time. But I have charges wrongly in my April 2011 bill. The wrong charges are for some value added services charges 787 dated 10th April which actually are absolutely wrong.

Since then I had resist myself to make bill payment. Airtel Customer Care has contacted me several time and everytime I have to state the story of wrong charges and they have never come up with any clarification for that.

As stated earlier, I am on time bill payer for the valid mobile usage charges. So waiting for them to resolve the issue by removing the wrong charges and allow me to make payment for my usage.

I have attached t part of the bill that reflect wrong charges ob behalf of Airtel for reference.

It is very strange and disappointing that even after sending an email to [protected]@in.airtel.com about the concern, they have disconnected my mobile connection.

Earlier many people has warned me about poor customer support of Airtel and now I am experiencing it. Probably thats the reason this site has most 'Stay away' (114) for Airtel.

AirTel — Wrong bill charges

Hi,

I was shocked to find my mobil bill for the month of June to be 4,500 Rps. When i contacted them they said that they have given me a free plan of Mobile Office for using internet and that had expired on May and due to the accessive usage of internet they have charged.

But when i asked they when and with whom persmission you have given me the scheme then they said that they don't have any idea and without my prior information they discontinued the 99 rps plan.

I am so annoyed with the kind of support that i am getting from airtel as i am there customer from last 7 years.

I woudl request airtel to please sort out the issue immediately

I do not agree with that. If it has been the valid charges, I would have paid them as I had always done in past and would not raise the concern.
The reason why I consider those charges invalid is because I have not use my mobile for browsing Internet on that specific day i.e. 10th April 2011 and do not have idea how that usage was initiated.

As mentioned earlier, I have contacted by Airtel Customer Care for the outstanding payment, and I requested them to look in this matter and provide me clarification. But I never got any clarification about it and it seems to very pathetic and slow service from Airtel customer Care. But when it comes to payment collection and reminder, they are very prompt. The worst thing is that I never got any clarification and the mobile number is disconnected.

Can you provide me more detailed Airtel live usage for the day 10th April 2011 like the web history etc.?

Also I would request you to restore my connectivity for the Airtel number (i.e. [protected]) at least for receiving incoming calls, until the issue is settled from both ends?

AirTel — Wrong billing

Hi, I took Airtel's 2mbps (999) plan which also has an offier on voice calling rental of 300 for calls upto 2000 Rs of across networks, across state.
I made call of 1200 in the month of Aug-Sep and they did not applied the discount they offer in the plan.
As per the scheme I should have been charged Broadband charge (999) + 300 as i did not cross the limit of 2000.
They gaveme bil of 999+1200.
After raising lots of complain with the airtel they haev created the ticket but no one is working on that, i have caled several times but no convincing reply from them. once a nodel officer had called and said they will not put any late fee because of the open ticket though in the next month bill they have added the late fee also. I also esclated it to nodal officer and appllet officer still no resolution provided for one month. Mow i have also received the Se-Oct bill and same problem has been repeated.
Finally i have decided to close the connection. Even though they replied that request has been loged for cancellation and some one will call you in 48 hour still no one has called.
If some one from airtel is readign this my act no[protected]

I'm using postpaid airtel sim from past 6 months. From last few months I'm getting
a incorrect bill showing some unknown numbers[protected] with a chargable amount of 100,
which I have never dialed. Even I had complained to the costomer care but there is no proper
response.

This happened for all most 4 to 5 times, and I'm getting furstrated with this fault bills.
Please provide a solution and resolve it soon else I'm plaining to disconnect this sim
and opt for the other service provider.
