[Resolved]  Airtel Broadband — Chennai broadband customer service

I applied for a broadband connection.
While filling form that airtel agent told will get connection in 3 days.
If it is reliance or tata will get connection in a day.
Hmm... Ok... 3days...
After 3days also there is no response from airtel.
I called my agent to ask about its atatus.
He was not picking my call.
Then i wrote a letter to care. [protected]@airtel.In & nodel officer
I wait for their response.
But there was no use of that.
Next day many times i called my agent to get connection...
He picked up my call and said some problems...
Connection will give on tomarrow...
I told no! I want today itself or cancel my request...
He told ill give you manager mobile number.
Ok...
I called his manager..
And started a conferrence with manager and agent.
Finally they told please wait for a day also.
Hmmmm... I told ok.
Next day...
I started calling that agent...
Same response...
Not picking my call...
I have tried arround 6 hours...
He picked one of my call and talked me roughly...
That was 'today also cant give connection'
I called his manager... He told wait..
Let me check with him
I told... Ok
After 30 minutes i have tried to reach that manager...
He switched off his mobile...

This is the current status of airtel broadband connection...
No time sense...
Customer service...

I too faced similar problem not only once, but twice...After making me wait for days, they told they cannot provide connection. I dunno why they show ads on TV and send ads through SMS when they cannot provide.
dam indian political is like that so we cant go for any thing in india

If it is Reliance or Tata will get connection in a day.
After 3days also there is no response from Airtel.
I called my agent to ask about its atatus.
He was not picking my call.
till now he is not response for me.
kindly immediate action & refund my money.
otherwise i will go to legal action against AIRTEL & that agent.

Airtel / Broadband and mobile — Rip off

Hi,
Can you please advise how should I complain against the ongoing rip-off from Airtel in the broadband as well as mobile division? I have been having problem in terms o[censored]n-wanted services being added to my braodband connection and mobile connection such as unwanted anti-virus (for which they charged me m 250 INR / month), unwanted caller tunes (charged me 30 Rs / months), unwanted downloaded (charged me 100 INR /month). Airtel has also engaged in the practice o[censored]nauthorized additions / modifications of my bill plans - for example, added a a package of 1000 A2A calls in the package for a monthly cost of 250 INR / month without my authorization or request.

I have made repeated calls requests to Airtel for not charging me un-necessarily but each time the reponse is callous, inadequate and completely consumer unfriendly. I just dont know how much profit airtel wants that it can't stop finding news ways to charge its customers.

I also have the lot of billing issues with airtel mobile connection. i have raised this issue on 12th June 2009, but i haven't got any response to this compliant.
Worest servicein the world is airtelbroadband. i didnot get service till date after shifted to new house.
Money waste and time waste
Oh yeah yeah...
It took them almost 4-5 months to get me a connection for which I had to pay a fresh deposit...
They haven't returned my previous deposit... Their customer service SUCKS!!!

Worst still ... I requested for a shifting of connection ... I was given a date and it's been 1 week - am still calling them everyday ... confirming a mobile number, an alternative number, my address - they want to be sure if I know where I live... wow!!!
You call the complaint line ... or that what they say ... people talk as if you're being dumb that you expect them to answer your questions.

I haven't been able to call them since yesterday... and guess what nobody's called me back too... :)

Most Customer service set ups seem to SUCK in CHENNAI...!!!
Like Saravan Bhavan... there can't be any tipping there. Only food.
Airtel is the one of the worst connection in india.I pay the initialization amount 2 months before. I asked the Executive and distrubutor daily . but no resbondse. He told now only i did not give the connection to you . What is your management ? You consider your consumer not. y u wasting my time. When you repay my amount. whenever I asked your distrubutor, he said comming sir. what comming I don'tknow about your service. It's worst
Yes, I too agree the complaints on Airtel service... Very very bad... I too faced the same problem... Don't we have any other solution for that? How to take legal movements? Is it possible speak to higher official on Airtel? Is it worth? ...Waste fellows...
I took a broadband connection, a month back at my residence. I was promised a gift option of a pair of shades or a wrist watch. When will I get the gift ?
I too applied for a broadband connection. While filling form, the agent told me that i will get connection in 10 to 15 days. I also paid the full amount as he was asking for it. I paid around3500, i think. After 15 days i called up the agent and he said he will come the next day. I waited, but as usual he didn't come. I called the next day, he didn't came and it went on for 5 days. I also went to the nearest ([censored])airtel office and they said that there are no network coverage in my place and wait for 3 more days. After the three days, i again went to the office, but this time they are saying no ports are available. Hearing this i went for cancelling the installation and asked for refund. The refund came, but i got only Rs. 500 and there with the check it was written that i have cancelled my connection and my account is closed, but i never took a connection and never there was an account of mine, the agent never reached my house with the broadband, wires, adapters, etc. I called my agent to ask about it, but he was too busy to pick my call up. I went to the office but no attention was taken so i left the office angrily. Its not about the money i am angry about, its the reaction of ([censored])airtel agents. Just want to [censored]ing rip them off. Doesn't care about the customer's at all.

One of my friend told that Airtel is giving good service and that makes me to think for a connection in the place of BSNL. I have made my booking July 14, 2011 and was promised that i will be getting the connection by 25th July. But till today I have not get the connection. All the cable and wiring works have been completed in couple of days yet no connection. Your representative Mr. Rahman (his contact number: [protected]) had interacted with me in the beginning and my attempt to contact him was failure for the past 3 weeks. Then I was able to reach Mr. Ashok ( contact number :[protected]) and he updated me with a story for allotment of phone number and he promised me that the connection will be given before the end of August 06, 2011. August 08, 2011 has been reached and I have not get my connection nor a courtesy call from your representative for the delay.

Is this the way you are giving new connection. After paying the amount for the connection, you are expecting that the customer should beg for the connection? Even BSNL is far far better i guess after using it for 3 years i dint face problems like now.
