I have this connection with 2 STB ( one HD and othe SD) ID: [protected]. One is in safe custody. The other with HD was charged with a new package in the beginning of the month on 02 Aug 11 with South Super Value with 119 channels @ Rs.120 pm + taxes . This was done over the mobile through customer care. However, after charging I found that the package was South Value › 164 channels @ Rs.165 pm + taxes.

I called up immediately to restore it to super value pack @ Rs.120 pm + taxes. But this time the new chap just noted the complaint and refused to change it with an assurance that it will be changed within 24 hrs. I called up again on 03 Aug but with no result.

Even now the package is same 'South value and the daily deduction has started. My aim was to top up the HD package @ Rs 65. But now with this kind of response I wonder what I would do.

Air tel tries this smart act with delays and deducts money from the customer. Actually they are loosing the faith of the customer by trying these cheap tricks.

    Sirs,
    I was using airtel Digital TV service for some time, after one year was over i paid 2600/- for recharge. After that the quality of channel was very bad. I lodged a complain for the same, they demanded 100/- as service charges. Which I refused to pay and asked them to take back the DISH and Set Top Box, and also asked them to refund my unused amount. They promised me after they collect the STB from my premises they will refund the amount. Till date they have not refund the same. My TV Account ID is [protected].

    I had got calls twice from Airtel asking me about the refund. Till date I do not see the refund in my account.

    even after 3 years there is no refund. stupid cheating airtel.

      I am closed my airtel postpaid connection & I paid everything against that mobile no [protected]. I request to Airtel customer care to close the no & I received request no[protected] after that I called airtel customer care for status about that connect that closed or not airtel customer center ans pls call after 2 houre. I called airtel customer 4-5 times and every time I received same ans that - pls call 2 houre.

      Please see the problems I dont want to Pay extra amount what I am already closed

        Bharti Airtel Limited — Provident fund not released

        I left the company in May 2006. Till date they have not released my provident fund. My employe ID was 1515 and I was posted in Surat in Gujarat.

        I have requested many times but they are not responding

        Bharti Airtel Limited — Provident Fund status

        I had worked for Bharti Cellular for approx 3 years from Jul 03 to Feb 06. During this period my PF was deposited in my a/c no DL/16967/3461 at the PF office in Skylark building Nehru Place in New Delhi. Subsequentl i moved to Idea Cellular and applied for the transfer of my balance there. The application for transfer was submitted to this office on 14/08/06 however tilldate I am not aware on the status of the balance in my account mentioned above.
        Need your intervention and help to resolve this

            I am Ravikiran. I have applied for a new broadband connection on[protected].I have paid almost Rs 1500 for the same. My application number is 261680. I was promised that the connection would be given by[protected].
            But to my dismay, I have not got my connection till today. I am supposed to get the connection with in seven days as per the rules of Airtel.
            I have contacted the concerned persons repeatedly and I have always got vague reply's or no answer from their side. I am really fed up with their service and these people not even bothered to at least inform me via phone/in person when I will get the connection.

            Please let me how I should proceed against these irresponsible service providers.

            I have booked for airtel broad band connection on 23rd June. Before checking the possibility, they have collected the amount. When I contacted regarding the connection, they told me that in Ambattur, Chennai, the connection could not be given and hence it was cancelled. But still, I have not got my money back.

            No proper response from their side though I contacted so many times. Even the concern person did not pick up the phone whcih make me fed up. It was a mental torture for me for neglecting my ring just to get the response for our money. The higher authorities should take care of it. I thnink, Airtel now a days become irregular in customer service and would loose the market if it would continue the same.

              Never go for Airtel broadband connection....
              They are worst service providers......

              We have taken corporate Toll free number from them and experiencing worst service from them.....
              They have taken huge capital investment from us and monthly we pay 7500 rs as monthly rental to them. Just think about amount we have been paying to them .....
              On top of it they disconnected our connection without any intimation with out any reason...and after repeated reminders for past 6 days....they have not activated our number...

                  I am living in Ahmedabad city, and at my home there is no network at all of Airtel. I have invested Rs 2500 in 3G USB modem and I am not able to connect to network at all. Simultaneously I have purchased a Prepaid SIM and I am not able to make/recieve call on this number due to no network coverage. There is full network coverage of other mobile operators. I have complaint saveral time to Airtel customer care and sent mail 3 time and there was no response from their side except acknowlwdgment mail. I am suffereing from this problem since one month and I am fed up with the support of airtel for thier such a poor service. After complaining through all possible mode, I even couldn't get a single response from their side. I have also complaint to nodal officer but there is no response from that side.

                  Don't you have a consumer action forum in your city at Ahmedabad? Go & register complain there. Big companies often do this to us because we never complain at the right place.

                    I was looking for a internet connection in my home, as I was little hurry I applied for Airtel broad brand connection one representative came and supplied hand set modem etc..I gave cheque for device charge and one month advance it was on 10 th July ,next day device charges deducted , on 19th advance as well .

                    Even i am in same boat. two months back filed a complaint... they havent resolved my problem yet neither got new connection. these people dont even respond to mail. Any legal advice will be much appreciated.

                    It has been 3 weeks since I applied for Airtel fixed line connection. Airtel executives came to my home, they took a sum of 1000 Rs along with all documents and promised me to provide a connection within 3 business days. I have not received any connection for 21 days and neither Airtel has refunded me any money.

                      Please find appended below mail I have sent across to airtel aurthority for you to have idea about my problem:
                      Hi,

                      I had lodged a request for a change of address to my broadband connection on 5th July 2011. The person told me that the connection would get transferred in 3 working days and later on 9th July someone calls me up and says since the Airtel system was down it will take 20 days to do this transfer rather than the regular period of 3 days for the transfer. When I asked for a date for transfer he had given me a date of 20-22th July, 2011. Also he told me I will not be charged for the period that there is no connection in my house, but will only be charged for the regular 3 days it takes to transfer the connection.

                      Finally I received a call from someone from Airtel to tell me that the complaint will be acted upon and to give a convenient time. I had told them to come on Monday, 25th July at 10:00 a.m. to my place for the installation. There was no one from your end to act upon the complaint. I gave a call again to the customer care and the person said that the guy will come post 2pm the next day but then however as expected they smartly come to my place at 10am when I am extremely busy with my work for installation. The guy's unruly behaviour with me and my neighbour is not tolerable-- He was supposed to do the wiring from our terrace but forced to use our neighbours and upon their refusal he threatens me that "If i die the entire blame will come upon me (which is me in this case)" Is that the behaviour I should be expecting from Airtel team?

                      I was told by the guy that someone called Lalit Mishra would come for your activation the next day which was 27th July but that never happened as well the guy gave me wrong coordinates for Lalit..I kept following up with customer care thereafter from 28th July and was given a time frame of 48hrs and it would get activated, the last assurance for the same being on 2nd August 10 am and I assume another set of 48 hours are over and still not been activated.

                      I again called up your customer care and the guy there is now saying that it will take further 20 days for Airtel to act upon this complaint as in her records it has been registered on 22nd July. And now when I told the guy to transfer the call to her senior, she put me on a hold of 20 mins!!! And then puts me on the call again for 15mins and finally says that the person is not available and gives me contact number of Mr. Abhishek Parmar where he has not been responding ! I cannot keep taking leaves from office just so you can come & install at your leisure, whim & fancy!

                      And another thing is you keep raising bills when I havent been using your services for almost a month. You have another thing coming, if you think I will pay for services not rendered!!!

                      You have been utterly irresponsible and inept if you expect me to wait for further 22 days making the period of wait 48 days!!!! I would rather take broadband services from another Service Provider than wait for 48 days!!! It is not as if you are the only one around to provide IP services that you can give such answers to your loyal customers!

                      I have been using Airtel services for the past 5+ years now. And I expected better services from you!

                      If you are really going to take 22 more days, I would rather you close this complaint & let me know, so that I can forget this episode & approach Vodafone or Reliance or any Tom, Dick & Harry rather than you who takes 40 days to act on a service request!!!

                      I would expect some response from you on the same or else I would be forced to pull the matters up to the consumer court.

                        mohsin shaikh is my brother he is doing marketing all over india he came my home after 20 days we lost some money more amount of money in our business so he is very frustuate so he taking rest ate sunday -27-march-2011

                        sudunly he got call from[protected] RETENTION DEPARTMENT ,BHARTI HOUSE AHMEDABAD ,lady talking about payment due and she say we are going to disconnect your service and using some non professional wordwith calling

                        I was using Airtel No:[protected] for an year or so. Of late starting from March i stopped using it as i was travelling and was not able to pay the bill an amount of Rs.1500 My contact list of people are getting calls saying your friend has not paid the bill and inform him to pay it immediately. The calling agency has used words like and informed my friends that call and tell him to send his wife and Mom to settle the bill amount.

                        I want to take legal complaint against Airtel.

                        I am getting calls from this [protected] This guy is threatening me that he will call all the contacts of mine and will damage my image. He has already contact 6 people of my contact and damaged my image. .

                        Please can anyone come to my help.

                        mohsin shaikh is my brother he is doing marketing all over india he came my home after 20 days we lost some money more amount of money in our business so he is very frustuate so he taking rest ate sunday -27-march-2011

                        sudunly he got call from[protected] RETENTION DEPARTMENT ,BHARTI HOUSE AHMEDABAD ,lady talking about payment due and she say we are going to disconnect your service and using some non professional wordwith calling

                        mohsin got lost his temper and using some words because he is very tired and frusted, (generaly we are not handling any call at sunday time)

                        HOW CAN SHE TALK TO DIRECTLY MY CLIENT ......MY CLIENT DO NOT AWARE ABOUT ANY THING MAN THIS IS UNKNOWN PERSON

                        SO SHE GOT DAMAGE MY REPUTATION ON MY CLIENT & SHE HEART ME MY PERSONAL

                        2 ) HOW CAN SHE TALK TO ANY POSTPAID CUSTOMER ON SUNDAY ABOUT HIS BILLING AND BILL PAYMENT DETAIL IF SHE WANT TO TALK ANY ABOUT SHE CAN TALK ANY WORKING DAY AND I KNOW THAT I NEVER GOT CALL ON SUNDAY FROM YOU SITE

                          Airtel should stop harrassing customers by inventing new techniques.
                          As this number is a premium number I suspect Airtel wish to make few bucks by deactivating and reselling such numbers to new customers.
                          This number is Lifetime and I am regularly recharging this number.
                          Last recharge was around 8 days before deactivation.
                          Now I am told to resubmit the documents to get it activated.
                          Today on 03/08/2011 I have resubmitted my documents at your outlet.

                          Rather than receiving ready made system generated replies to this email, I expect my number to get reactivated ASAP.

[protected] (Airtel Pre-Paid) the company has activated Hellotune automatically and VAS too, many time I call to customer care to stop the service.... they assure also to deactivate it.....but nothing happen....many time I SMS also for stop the VAS but...company still started cheating... two day back they activated the hello tune without any information... I am suffering from such activity from last 1 year, customer care talk are also chargeable... so we can not call more time to deactivate such nonsence things.
                            Pls help me......

                            Bharti Airtel Limited — Cheated by the Company

                            SUBJECT : TELEPHONE NO. [protected] ACCOUNT NO. 14207630

                            On 12 Oct.2010 I requested Airtel company to deactivate the services as it was not needed. The request was verbally made at the Airtel store at sector 12 Fridabad. Later I received call from them suggesting that instead of cancellation you shift your monthly rental plan from higher to low plan of 349 permonth, keep it for three months on trial without using the broad band services for three months and the company shall provide you with a waver of Rs.1050.and no billing shall be raised.The person on line convinced me that Rs349 monthly plan for three months total comes to about1047 and with a waver of 1050 you shall enjoy non payment of bills thus why to go for cancellation of the services. On asking why you are insisting on this preposition the answer was, firstly you are a special customer to us and we give such offers to only special ones so that you enjoy all the benefits of deactivation without decativating the services. Secondly after three months of non usage by you if you feel to continue with our orignal services, it will be done. Regarding the waver of Rs.1050, I was told that within seven days the approvalof the waver shall be intimated to you. I in good faith agreed to the proposal forwarded by the company official and there and then, I requested for up dating email address as well as mobile no.
                            Today it is 30th Jan 2011, various talks held with the company people before this, but all in vain. Complaints made to customer care and even to Nodal Officer has not yielded any response except that, we are looking into the matter. Having come to know about their intentions to delay the approval, I then moved immediate cancellation of the services fixed line and net services. Next I got a phone call from Nodal Officer asking me why cancellation? I explained him all about what had happened and how the assurances made on telephones have not been met. He again assured me that all the commitments made to you shall be honoured but at least you will have to keep the land line. In good faith again I agreed. But that too was a false statment from the person concerned. Approval not granted till date.
                            Mean time the company stopped sending hard copy of the bills unduely raised by them. The company nver sent bills for my looking on the updated email, the reasons best known to them only.
                            I finally again requested at Airtel store to cancell the fixed line by personally meeting Gorav Bhardwaj on 20th Jan.2011 who forwarded the mail to the department alongwith approval of waver of all the outstanding dues and also to send thehard copy of last three months bills by post.

                            On 28th Jan I received three bills, fixed line has been deactivated temporarily. I am told that someone shall come to collect the instruement, no one has come, more than 7 days have passed. I am getting calls to pay the bill of Rs.649.

                            The company, bythe willful act of its officialls, making false assurances on various occasions and intentionally delaying, hiding the real intentions to retain the client has caused to cheat the customer by raising the undue billing. Through this forum I request the company not to harrass me any more and withdraw the billing amount immediatly as assured and promised.

                              Dear Sir,
                              I had taken an airtel prepaid mobile connection no. [protected] in my name i.e. Sujit Chowdhury at Raigarh on 11.05.2011 and submitted necessary documents as required. Later on my services got barred twice due to non-verification of address in next two month period. On investigation I found that the connection is released in the name of one Chait Ram. I was surprised and charged the Airtel prepaid dealer how the ownership is changed and asked him to get it rectified. They agreed but again I found on 27.07.2011 that the services to my mobile are blocked. Matter was reported to the concerned dealer and also to the Airtel Sales Officer Mr. Nitin Choubey (mobile no. [protected]) on the same day. They assured that within 2 - 3 days it will be restored. But after a week today i.e. 3.08.2011 the services remain blocked even after regular follow up daily. Please help.

                              On 12.08.2011 from Airtel (mobile no. [protected]) Ms. Rekha had contacted me at 02:51 p.m. and I had updated her regarding my grievances. Still how do shrug off your responsibilities by saying that I have not contacted you. This is really ridiculous.

                              Now kindly return Rs. 1580/- unutilized talktime as a credit to my mobile account.

                              Since the time has elapsed I got my SMS pack charged on my own and will get my blackberry services restored.

                              Please do the needful without further delay.

                                Through this, I Manish Kumar want to draw your attention towards poor service of Airtel. I have taken brodband plan[protected] of 'net' before 4 months of Rs.899 per month. But that plan was not activating properly. So i was decided to cut out the connection. On 21st may,2011, I have filed request to cut the phone & the request no is[protected],1483660,37991941,38050139.But no action was taken place by you. We have again & again filed the request but there is no impact on Airtel. From last 20 days, call from Airtel is coming 3-4 times a days, which creates very disturbance.If the process will continue like this then, I will complaint to police.

                                Another case is happened with mobile ([protected])also. We have taken the plan 299 in which 12000 second are free, 200 sms is also free. But Airtel itself do not give theabove mentioned plan.Inspite of above plan, it activates another plan, many a times, I filed the request & request no is 35050139 but no action was taken place. I will do the payment only after adjustment will done & actually the plan which i have applied for be activated.

                                AirTel — Broadband Discontinuation

                                I am continuously requesting airtel for disconnection of my airtel no:[protected] since 7.5.2011 as they are not in a position to transfer my airtel connection to new location. At last on 15.5.2011, I wrote to airtel at [protected]@airtel.Co.In to disconnect my connection as I do not want want to continue using airtel services due to poor customer support. I made more than 10 calls to airtel customer care but their executives are not able to give satisfactory answers. Moreover I was put on hold for about 4 minutes while contacting to their punjab circle nodal officer's phone on 18.5.2011 at around 2.00 pm.
                                Further, I informed them that I have left the address registered with airtel and if my connection is not discontinued immediately, I would not liable to pay any biils/ Dues to airtel. If any misuse of this connection happens, it would be the legal obligation of airtel only.

                                Please help to get rid out of this and my airtel connection be disconnected immediately.

I have purchased Airtel Digital TV package including "Digital TV recorder + 1year South Megapack + Rs 250 Cashback + free installation" online. The payment made in a single transaction using my creditcard. Now the package validity is showing is for 2 months only. In 'my account' of the Airtel website, the payment is not reflecting as I made it. It is showing many transactions of small amounts. I had spoke to customer service at least 15 times and I did not got a proper answer. Once it was informed by their executive that, the validity extended and I will get a call for confirmation in the same day. But Never got the call and problem not resolved. Another time it was told that the validity now showing, is for the free viewing time and I have to recharge only after 14 months. But I had asked for a confirmation by e-mail, I never got it. I need only 12 month validity and Rs 250 cash back.

                                      Airtel Mobile Services — Regarding Activation of GPRS and Deactivation of call conference service

                                      1)I had made request for activating my GPRS serivice via sms to cust. care on 8/5/08 the maximum time given was 4 hrs. The serivce was not acitvated even after 72hrs after contacting the cust. care. and the manager the serivce got activated after 4 days.
                                      2) i had given a request for deactivating my call conference serivice on 5 may 2008 and after making 3 to 4 request via sms and after directly contacting the cust. care my serivice is still not deactivated till date ie. 24 may 2008

                                      Airtel Mobile Services — UNWANTED VAS ACTIVATED

                                      Last day I have been deducted Rs 30 from Airtel Prepaid Balance for the hello tunes though I have not asked the authorities to give such facility .It has been came to my notice when I received a msg dated 10/06/2008 at 12:00pm mentioning “YOUR HELLO TUNES SUBSCRIPTION PACK FOR 30 DAYS HAS BEEN ACTIVATED”.

                                      Then I made a complaint to 121 that I have not made requisition to give hello tunes, the customer care centre of AIRTEL hasn’t registered my complaint and told me this may be of OUR TECHNICAL NETWORK PROBLEM AS MOST OF OUR CUSTOMER ARE FACING THIS. In the evening, when I called customer care regarding this matter, Mr. Pawan, who doesn’t know how talk said that “you have to again call up on 12/06/2008 to confirm that whether it our fault or u have made a request”. Till now It has not been deactivated.
                                      Please oblige me to get justice and make a provision for refund of Rs. 30 with immediate effect.

                                      This is to inform you, I am mentioning this to solve my complaint. Otherwise, I will publish this in Consumer Complaint Webpage.

                                      Airtel — Regarding GPRS activation

                                      Sir

                                      I have purchased new Pre-pad sim of AirTel on 31st January, 2010 at 20:30 Hrs and Re-Charge 98/- Rupees for GPRS activation at the same. Immediately I have received the message that Recharge voucher has successfully charged. After That I have given miss call to my another number of Airtel to check wheather it is working or not, and found that my new numbe is working. Again I have make a call to Help Line on 12118 for GPRS activation and but first time they refuse to give setting and say to check the number you have dialed because new series of Sim was not Up-dated in the system, So I request to him to update the number and provide me GPRS settings then he relies the situation and update my profile and tell about the GPRS settings and assured me that GPRS services will be started with in 24 Hours.

                                      I have checked after 24 hours but GPRS services wass not activated in my mobile so again I call to Helpline and they say that we have some problem and we forwarded your request to concern department and your problem will solve with in 24 hours.

                                      But Sorry to say till date my GPRS services is not activate in my mobile. Last time I have talk to helpline on 4-2-2010 and my complaint number is – 213975.

                                      Please look into the matter and revert back per return mail.

                                      Airtel Mobile Services — Complaint against GPRS SERVICES

                                      Dear sir,

                                      I was airtel pre-paid customer and my number is [protected]. I was having internet connection and used to recharge with Rs98/- , under that scheme I can use up to 2GB. I have migrated to postpaid connection with Rs199/- plan, naturally my Rs98/- plan for net connection got cut. I got in touch with customer care and was informed that it has to be reactivated with Rs 98/- and can use up to 2GB for one month and it will include in the next bill. As per their guidance, after reconfirmation with customer care, I have requested the customer care executive to activate the same as said on 19.07.10. But I received a bill of Rs3297/- + rent + tax etc. I contacted the customer care, they are saying foolish reason for the whooping phone bill. I cannot avail 2GB till 04/08/2010 (my bill generates on 04/08/2010) . So why I was misinformed by airtel customer care executive???........... So i made a complaint to Airtel showing all these above facts.. so far i have not recd any reply from Airtel except auto generated acknowledgement of the receipt of the complaint.

                                      I humbly request the concerned to consider the matter and waive the raised extra amount for the internet usage.

                                      Again I request all higher authorities to advise customer care to pass right information to the customer or else Airtel will loose its image as well as customers.

                                      I have prepaid card from Airtel since last 5 years, last week I have received two consecutive a messages saying that ‘you have been renewed for football subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged Rs. 10. Enjoy best Games! Dudecting 10 Rs. Each time from my balance amount. I had spoken to the customer representative at their toll free no. but got reply saying we cannot refund the amount. I don’t understand even though I have not subscribed to any service why this deduction that too twice in a month (19/08/2010 & 29/08/2010).
                                      Hope this complaint will work.

Due to said problem I applied for mobile number portability but my request has been rejected by airtel. Thereafter I made complaint to the airtel customer care regarding deduction of balance & MNP but no action has been taken on my complaints till date. I am facing very lot of problem. Please solve the above said problem at the earliest.

                                      Airtel — Activating and charging for Unwanted Services(Not asked for)

                                      Telecom companies are very smart..
                                      They charge yo u for services which you have never asked for (PREPAID CUSTOMERS).
                                      Today I am a victim of such cases for almost more than 10 times.
                                      Company had a promotional call which u not even answer several times.
                                      Later on you came to know that some amount has been deducted from your prepaid account balance.
                                      First thing which came to your mind will be 'IS THIS THE SERVICE I REALLY NEED AND I HAVE ASKED COMPANY TO ACTIVATE THE SAME?'
                                      When you call for CUSTOMER CARE, the executive will tell you lot many things and try to fool you around.
                                      Because they might have been trained to fool people. And most important YOU ARE NOT THE FIRST ONE TO CALL FOR SUCH COMPLAINTS?
                                      Basically they will tell you that company did called you at this this time and u have activated that service.
                                      Their charges range from Rs 10 to Rs 30. which seem to be not a much amount to many people but i[censored] calculate it for year on year basis you will end up spending more than Rs 100 a year.
                                      The case is more worse in case of Rural Customers.
                                      Villagers are not more tech savvy and they dont even know what sort of services company is offering.
                                      Most of the victims are not aware of their deduction in account balance.
                                      Those who will came to know about that, dont know how to deal with it. I mean to say they dont know how to deactivate a service and how to call for customer care.
                                      So on Behalf of all the quetching, unsatisfied customers I request Telecom Companies to stop all such immoral activities.

                                        Dear Sir / Madam ,

                                        I would like to inform you that we are using Airtel since 6 Yrs .But since 4 months we are facing lots of problem with NEC & INTERNET ,as well as our mobile connection. I am approaching you as a final alternative .Further mail dated 15/07/2011 i would like to bring your attention to our CUG connections which is in the name of Teknion Furniture Systems (india) Pvt.Ltd.when i release the PO it was clearly mention that without any written approval no Value added service will be activate in any number but they have activate the Value added service on our one number [protected] but we are going to make make the payment of this number . These are total 12 connection which is for our new branch. Total connection is 219. But when i release the 2nd cheque for new 6 connections .we fail to understand why the discrepancy was made .I release the Cheque of Rs. 5668 (HSBS on 15 July ) But the your department update the wrong payment . They update the whole payment is only one number [protected] and rest of numbers they are start barred .Which create issue for us . Then i raise 6 Service request then they update the payment of Rs 18000 except our number one [protected],weather i have release only 5668/, then i again raise request after that they update 11000, again Except one number [protected], I also send 6 mail to [protected]@in.airtel.com.regarding the payment i also send the payment details. but nothing has done I can;t release the july month cheque untill the issue will resolve .
                                        Beside a several requested we yet to receive your bill ever on time which usually result in delay.
                                        May i requested you to look in to the matter .confirm the same to us following which we will process the payment accordingly
                                        Hope that you would resolve my issue. I greatly appreciate the time taken to read this letter and look forward to you response.
                                        I expect that you take immediate action.
