[Resolved] Airtel Digital TV — Deception and Nil response. | |||
I would like to bring to the notice that how Lethargic and irresponsible are the branded service providers. There are designed to only suck the blood of inocent people. The trailing mails would give brief account of efficiencies of AIRTEL DIGITAL TV. [protected] From: shyamkiran T shyamkiran ([protected]@hotmail.com) Sent: 13 March 2010 10:15AM To: [protected]@airtel.in Dear Sir, I been customer of Airtel digital TV since Oct-09 opting for the offer price of Rs.1550/- with subscription validity of 6months & applicable pack is South super Value. I have been attracted towards on religious channel 'Subhavaartha' which was offered at that time, even after being an TATA Sky user for more than 2 years. Unfortunately, the channel was discontinued much earlier than the free subscription period. Apart from that it was experienced that the channels in the applicable pack were very frequently switched on/off. The following are issues are more painful than mentioned above. Feedback: 1. None of the modes suggested by you are accessible. SMS No: 54325 from other than Airtel mobile is never accessible. 2. Only once I could contact[protected] when the executive has instructed me to try SMS mode and disconnected. 3. Ph.No:[protected]: After 15 min of waiting [an IVRS system] connected to IVRS system which got disconnected after 3 stages. Finally resorted to this mode and would request you to restore/ADD subhavaartha (telugu) channel with my existing South super value. Kindly exclude if there are any other ADDON pack to my applicable pack. With warm regards, Re: [protected] Message From shyamkiran T shyamkiran <[protected]@hotmail.com> [REF:[protected]] From: [protected]@airtel.in ([protected]@airtel.in) Sent: 16 March 2010 04:51AM To: [protected]@hotmail.com Dear Sir, Thank you for writing to us at Airtel Digital TV. Airtel is notorious for useless, ROUTINE, unprofessional, evasive responses to user complaints. Overall, the solution to many of their unsatisfactory services, both ooperating and trouble-shooting, would appear to be a thorough re-check and rewriting of all relevant software (and rectificaton/ replacement/ upgradation of hardware ex. for signals) and revalidation. AIRTEL obviously loathes to the right-royal honest method of resolving consumer issues, and perhaps is able to get away with its half-hearted methods smacking of public deception despite competition since the rivals may be doing the same things!!!

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Deceived by Airtel Digital TV
Deceived by Airtel Digital TVI have purchased Airtel Digital TV in June 2009. I have custermer ID. [protected] ON 1ST week of july I have got the problem from set of box as it stars after taking long time then service engineer visit my home then he temporary resolve the problem and charged 100 Rs then all of sudden after one week without any reason the SETTOP box of Airtel digitaTVstopped functioning.
I lodged a complaint to Airtel Digital TV customer care Center.again. then instead of solving my problem they provided me another SETTOP box. they told me that 500 Rs will be charged for it ,but it never works properly ,after another visit they said that data cable is not working and charged 50 Rs extra for another cable. But still the problem is not solved. Now customer care informed me that for resolving your problem again 100 Rs will be charged for that problem which was never resolved
Now it spoils my two weeks and money and am charged rupees 6 rs daily for connection without using services
My SETTOP box still not working, though they charged me again & again
So my question is that will I pay continuously for same unresolved problem
Regards,
VINOD KUMAR

Hi,
This is regarding a complain against Digital TV for not crediting my money into my account.
On 22nd July 2010 at around 8:00 PM, I had ordered for up gradation from my normal Airtel setup box to a HD setup box. I spoke with a customer care executive and paid Rs 2265 by my credit card through IVR.
Customer ID : [protected]
Registered Telephone number : [protected]
Transaction Id : 9926229
The executive had given me the Transaction ID by his personal mobile phone ([protected]). He clearly verified all of my details which he could see on the screen.
Now the problem is, that money has not been credited to my account and I got a call from the backend team after 3 days and they tell me that the transaction ID is wrong. Now I have received the HD setup box but my account is not being activated for the fact that Airtel has not received my payment.
I have also received the payment details in my unbilled credit card account. Now, where did this money go?
Complaint numbers that I have received from Airtel
3390892
3381792
3387599
I do not understand why is Airtel doing this to the customers.
