[Resolved] Airtel — Installation Charges | |||
I had requested for Airtel DTH connection on 05th Oct'11 via online payment. One Mr. Lalit Goswami <lalit.[protected]@vriti-interactive.com> has acknowledged the payment and promised that the DTH set-up will be completed in two working days (Latest by 07th Oct'11). However, this was not done till 10th Oct'11. After making several attempts to contact Mr. Goswami unsuccessfully, Airtel Call centre was contacted and requested for speedy action in line with their commitment. The executive had apologized for the delay and promised, this will be sorted out at the earliest and action taken (Reference Number[protected]. This was not actioned till 18th Oct'11 and finally, we had decided to switch to Dish TV instead who had ensured delivery with committed time-scales. IN view of these changes and irresponsible behaviour of Airtel, it was requested that the order be cancelled and installation charges paid online be refunded. One Mr. Ram Avatar from the call center confirmed that this will be done within 48 hours. ( Reference Number[protected]. Till date we have not received any refund amount and everytime we reach out to call centre, they apologies according to their script and suggest the complaint has been forwarded to relevant department and action will be taken immediately. It is 11th Dec'11 today and we have not got the refund yet. This has been the most frustrating experience and unfair deal with Airtel. Was this information helpful? | |||
