After being a successfull client for airtel ( with # [protected]) for more than 3 and half year, i have moved to an another service provider, because in Airtel there is no one to listen for you, there are responses to your emails and no follow ups from there side, whenever u call them , firstly they will not pick up, (their help line is pathetic) and even if they pick up they dont have either sufficient access or the sufficent knowledge and some of them dnt know how to handle the situation when they dnt know, they will simply cut the call.
I have drop and email to airtel guys, june 13th , i got an reply on 21th june, saying some crap info. but evrey time i will get Acknowledgement Mail, saying blah blah blah!!!!!!
Again i dropped an another email on june 22nd and there is no response to it...they are just simply playing with us, they dont understand how should they treat alleast to their permanent customer, i was with airtel for more than 3.5 years, and hardly came into contact with thei bad services, evry one in my frnds used to tell me, airtel service is not good, but i stick to my decision to stay with airtel, but my friends told me when ever you need some service they will never help you out and beleive there words have come true today!!!!!
and i have moved to another telecom service provider:
and i request you all please dont beleive airtel service, it really really bad!!!!!!

Airtel — MNP Porting rejected without valid reason
I have a Airtel prepaid connection [protected]. I initiated MNP port request on 28th Jan 2011, and applied for a BSNL connection wit the unique porting id on 29th Jan 2011.Today (3rd Feb) I got a rejection SMS saying Airtel rejected the porting request due to legal reasons.
When I contacted Airtel customer care, they informed me that it was a mistake, and I should repeat the process of getting a Unique porting ID, and apply for fresh connection with BSNL again.
This is not acceptable as the rejection was without any valid reason, and the customer should not have to spend additional time and energy due to this mistake.
Please address this issue at the earliest by accepting the original porting request, so that I can move on.
