[Resolved]  Airtel — mobile balance deducted for no reason

2g data services are activated on my mobile. the balance of 2g data is still showing about 143. but on using internet the balance is deducted from my main balance. my main account came to nil but 2g data balance is still showing 143.

I even tried to call customer care, but i just hear "please hold the line, this call is being connected to customer care executive" and suddenly the call is cut.

This problem I have faced twice in fast 30 days now. Please help, its too irritating.

AirTel — Deduction of balance for no reason

My mobile number is [protected] and on friday 27/02/2009 at 1:30 pm my balance got deducted by 185 rs I logged a complaint on the same day (complaint no: [protected]) I also got the call from Airtel side telling that it was their fault and balance will be credited in 24 hours but i havent got the balance yet and when I call them back they say that concern dept. has not solved the problem and you have to register another complaint to get balance back. But frankly speaking from last 4 Years Airtel is doing the same with its customers ie. deducting the balance without any reason and not refunding it.


So i request That an action should be taken in this matter.
This is the 2nd instance when a service not required by me has been forcefully been allotted to me. On the 13th Sep 09 a sms was sent to my cell no [protected] that a particular caller tune has been alloted to my no and Rs 30 have been deducted from the account. After speaking to the executive this was refunded.
In July 09 a similar thing had happened after speaking to your executive the amount was refunded.
Why is this happening again and again.

Respected sir ,
i want to hereby inform to you that my mobile balance was deducted by airtel without my permission.
a hello tune was installed without asking me and money of about Rs 45/- was deducted.
I am damn sure that this done to draw money from hands of those consumers who have enrolled to 1paise /sec call scheme.

I want the company to refund it to me as this is an act of stealing someones money.
It is a shame for the airtel company who has done this inhuman act.

I am realy in tense,that first time airtel started to deduct for sms which i receives for no reason,which i have not asked, when i gave complaint they stopped but my money wasted, didn't got back,ok.Now again this is second time they started to deduct whenever i recharges till now rs.27/-,for what reason don't know.when i have an emergency, want to call i finds there is no balance in account,i gets scared,atleast give acusomer care no.where we can speak directly to the airtel person.this is not a question of money understand the emergency.Also didn't know that i will get my money back for this time but hope b'coz this is not my fault & before also,"sorry" will not get my money back or tell me anything wrong by me,i can't recharges,i fears that u will again deduct from my account. Why there is no customer care no. where i can talk directly, if yes give me the no.,and stop deductions.

AirTel — Balance deducted for no reason

I use airtel web on my mobile with RC of 98 which gives 2 gB of browsing+upload+download free for 1 month.Yesterday when i was browsing ownskin.com on my phone,by mistake on 'i-don't-know-what' and instantly i get a message saying 99Rs have been deducted for using some "hooters".I lodged a complain immediately with reference number [protected] and the supervisor assured me that i will get my balance back by 28th of january afternoon.

On 27th of january, i get a call from customer care saying i have downloaded something ( which i never did ) and hence i was charged. Assuming Hypothetically that i downloaded something , where is the need to deduct 99 Rs? M i not paying for internet already? When i try to call them back , they put my call on hold and the call disconnects.

When i try to reach them again , everytime they say that they are not the concerned department and they keep giving new numbers 12138 , 12118, 12118* , and finally when i press '9' to talk to executive , i get a recorded response , asking me to sms some to some number.

How now am i supposed to contact them? I am writing this after trying innumerable times.

I demand justice , and want my amount back.
I have also this problem.Recently I have taken Rs.98/- RC for Internet after that use one site and checked the balance than find my Rs.6/- have been deducted for this uses.Now What i have to do, use the Internet or not, I am confused that for what I have paid Rs.98/- ?

AirTel — Deducting mobile balance

Sir,
Kindly unsubscribe Game Pack subscription service from airtel my mobile no. [protected] .Already sent several request to customer care for unsubscription, but they did not listen. They are deducting Rs.3 every day since 15 days.

My Airtel number is[protected]. I have been using airtel prepaid for last 3 years.

Although it is not first time when i am facing this problem. I was charged rs 250 with out any reason on 28 NOV 2010 at around 1700 hrs
I received three messages stating that i have downloaded few games and movies(we are a family) and my total 250 ruppees has been deducted.
I want to tell you that i have not downloaded any games or movies. Why my balance is deducted. I am using simple Nokia express music in which i can not watch movies.
Why i will going to download movies. These kind of activities are ridiculous and a cheap way of making money.
Please refund my money back else i am going to switch my connection to other telecom service through mobile number portability.

AirTel — Balance deducting without reason

My name is Amol Markanday , mob[protected].
My balance has been deducting by company for java game download ,but i havent download any games till date,,
my balance deduct is more then 250, I called so many times but not getting any responce from call center.
I am just an example , its not essue of 250 rs mearly but , these compaines
charging from lots of people but people avoide most of time,
its mentaly harassment , I wanna back my money and punish the company

Airtel — Deduction of value without any reason

My airtel no. is [protected]. The airtel service people suddenly started
deduction from my Airtel account without any reason. I have never down-
loaded and 'Friend Pack' nor any music. Everything is self-generated.

At present my balance shows as (-) minus Rs. 27.56. Why this minus
figure ? Now I afraid of re-charging with fresh coupon because it will go
to waste.
I shall wait for 7 days nowto see what they do. . After that, I will switch over to Tata Dokomo

AirTel — Balance deducted without reason

hello there... i had sort of similar problem within 24 hrs. i get money with a lot of work. n i get paid about 100 rupees per week believe it or not. i rarely recharge my Airtel number. today January 22nd 2011. yesterday which was 21st of January i got some money to recharge and i recharged my number for 100 rupees. i activated GPRS in the night for 19 rupees (200 MB of free usage) and it got activated by 00:59 hrs n the price was deducted. so far so good. now when i wake up in the morning i got a pop up message saying i have 12 rupees balance? what the heck? i had 76 rupees and 56 ps. after activation they deducted 19 rupees as usual n i had 57 rs and 56 ps left. i wake up in the morning (i'm very very sure that i LOCKED MY KEYPAD AS USUAL so that i don't press any button and it speed dials it) and i see i have only 12 rupees and 56 ps? they deducted 45 rupees for what? i tried calling the customer care in the morning and it says there's some sort of problem please call back tomorrow...? please i need some answer here. my number is [protected] if that helps. i just can not afford to give up that money. please do take some action regarding this. it has happened to me before many times but it used to go like 10 rupees to the max but this time it has gone too far. my recharge transaction ID is[protected] if this helps too.

AirTel — Deductions without any reason

Please note that any amount sometimes 25,50 and 15 have been deducted from my balance in the name of downloads or subscription of services like Airtel tv or airtel live with out my consent. And they say link has been clicked by me by mistake.

Even my number has been put on barring. I cannot have a talk to the customer care representatives, and when I let them know about the deductions from another number, they say these deductions are automated by our system.


Your Customer care representative does not care to respond.
This type of forcible deductions are unethical, for your information.

Many of time My Balance is Ditected by unproductive plans.
If, I call to 198 (Halpline No.), I don't have any responce from that.
also i have submitted the request for DND but ie not activated on my mobile.

Airtel — Balance Deducted without any reason twice

This is regarding my mobile number [protected] (Provider - Airtel).

I use GPRS service provided by Airtel since 6 months. Rs98 gets deducted every month in every cycle.
Today morning Dec 8th 2011 cycle was renewed at 9:15 AM and i got confirmation for the same.
At around 4:30 PM i got the message that my whole balance Rs.167 is deducted, so I called up customer care for the clarification. Called them twice times and made them understand my problem, they replied me that the balance was deducted due to the surfing. I made them understand I have free GPRS service renewed the same morning then why does the balance got deducted from main balance. They replied the cycle has got renewed at 4:00 PM.

If the cycle was renewed at 4:00 PM then why did i got message in the morning 9:15 AM about the renewable. They dont have answer for this and keep on saying that i didnt had balance between 9:15 AM to 4:00 PM.
This is the second time i am facing the same issue. On 10th Aug 2011 i faced the same prob. Me and my friends have suffered alot due to Airtel's bad services and then poor customer care services. I don't know what they pay their customer care executives for?

This issue is resolved now. I have got back my balance.
