I paid Rs.2506/-thro'internet for south value sports pakge. +45 days free on 12-07-12 towards
annual subscription.I decided to disconnect on 20-08-12 &mailed to [protected]@in.airtel.com customer care to refund the balance amount but they replied me the a/c balance is only Rs.53/ &odd but 1 year
i can see the selected pakge.This means in case of disconnection by the user in between either i 've to forego the entire amount or i should see the pakge & make use of the same which terms &conditions is neither available in the website nor in the customer relationship form.had such conditions been there in website i would n't 've opted to gofor annual subscription.This is totally unfair trade practice.The norms in this industry is to reckon based on burn-up rate otherwise called daily usage rate.The terms & conditions in the customer relation ship form also says like that.Further
the terms &conditions in the relationship form is totally in favour of the company & the company's money is taken care of but customer's money &right are ditched.
2)Arbitary change of package; In the mean time 3/4 airtel reps contacted me & i had to "repeat my tales " to each &every one. If a single person handles the issue it is easier for them & for the customer too to get the problem fixed&solved.But here it is running around the periphery but no intention to solve the problem.So i told them in case my problem is not solved i will be compelled to take the issue to the consumer court even if it takes 2/3 years to get the verdict.Then they "devised a trick"& sent a SMS to me informing the change of package (to suit their terms)as per my request which in reality i didn't ask for.I never made any request either by SMS/by mail for a change of package.The changed package is south standard which bars me from viewing all 4 English news channels Timesnow,NDTV24x7,CNN IBN,&headlines to-day.This means that i will be denied viewing these English news channels for 1 full year as i paid for annual subscription.
Hence i request this forum to take up this case with Airtel/digital TV to restore immediately to my selected south value sports plus pkge & secondly the a/c balance to be done on daily usage

Till now(8.03PM) the package has not been restored to south value sports plus as promised. Instead
I am getting the same "repeated &hackneyed mails" not grasping the issue from ur customer care.
i regret to say no actions from ur end but only promises which u don't keep.
I am constrained to refer the matter to consumer court even if takes 2/3 years to get justice.

    Airtel prepaid users receives many sms from airtel related to "Hot bikini babes", "Hot college girls" and so. These services are rediculous. when i call customer service, they were asking me to send a request to opt out these kind of messages reaching my number. But dont they think that it is not ethical to provide these unnecessary services to customers and spoil the young children who cannot decide to choose between good and bad. And i dont understand what morals these service providers has learnt in school and home. Why they are intended to spoil the society?
    I am from Delhi. I am a vodafone user as well as using airtel connection. I had activated 249 plan on my airtel connection as per described according to my requirements. They told me that I would get some free calls as well as the call rates are also cheaper. But don't know was that just to attract customers or what??? I just filed my complaint to the but is not any hearing there So I just moved for http://consumercourt.net/forum.php where I again filed my complaint about the very much charged bill amount. Hope to get some help from them ASAP.

      Non installation of DTH services by Airtel even after having received the payment 52 days ago.

      On advice of the customer care of Airtel, I had purchased a multi Connection of Airtel DTH services, on August 14, 2012. My consumer number is [protected]. Order No:- 2485247,Transaction description :- IPAY/ESHP/BD/17308310/MIDB[protected]_SHE.
      I made an online payment of Rs 2380/ via Idbi Net banking as advised by the Airtel Customer Care executive in a mail written to me on August 13, 2012. I was told that the connection would be installed in the next 72 hours, however it is almost 2 months since the payment was made and no action at all has been initiated by Airtel. Despite regular follow ups and constant conversations with customer care executives every day no action has been taken. The attitude of the executives has been frivolous and none of the executives that I have interacted with have been able to resole the problem. I have been assured byall executives that I have spoken to Sheetal[protected],Gajendra[protected],Complaint No.23215556 that my problem would be resolved but this has not happened.

      I am really ashamed to say that a company owned by the prestigious Laxmi Mittal is so unprofessional in it approach. Not only this is unprofessional behavior but also is a case of harassment of the customer and violation of customer rights. I have been cheated of my right to quality and prompt services and would like to emphasize that such ignorance by Airtel should not be tolerated and Airtel should be punished by for not delivering as against promised.

      I would like to insist that Airtel be penalized for non delivery of services and a lesson needs to be taught for their serious negligence on their part.I would like the problem to be resolved at the earliest.

          Received one sms today saying some cricket service will be renewed in 2 days and 50 rupees will be charged for that. I had never asked to activate any service. I never delete any sms from my mobile, when I search all my sms I don't have any sms saying this particular service was activated. When I am calling airtel customer care they are saying they are not even able to stop the service & forget about refunding the amount for the service which I never activated.

            I m subscribing a postpaid number [protected] with airtel,from last few months i m unable to pay their bills of outstanding amout 6800/- approx.so without any intimation or call, they call my relatives & force them to pay my bill as soon as possible,using abusive language with them & giving mental harrasement to me.......my credit limit is rs.8000/-,so i cannot understand this thing if my limit is more than my usage so why airtel crew members do all this nonsense.......... after all dis i m going to pay their bill as soon as possible & make mnp of mine number.

              Today morning a local executive of airtel visited me regarding urgent bill payment of my airtel modem,whose due date was on 6/09/2012....I did the payment on 07/09/2012,mode of payment was through debit card (online),on the site www.airtel.in,transaction id:324072,,,,,,my airtel account/DSL [protected]....I have the bank statement....find the attached file.....he also stated that if payment is not made till evening today,my net connection will be terminated.....If the same is disconnected...then i will be compelled to take shelter of consumer court against you...this is my third complaint regarding the same......please revert back...

At the time of Purchase nokia c3 handseat i was essured that 2(GB) surfing of 6 month free Kindly revert the debit entry my bills 1306/- discount lest the matter be refered to regulatory bodies including TRAI and the Consumer court.

              My Mob. No is [protected], as last month my net pack was used by me before the date, I was not given a reminder and I used the access data which is chargeable.Then I called the customer care support and they told sorry for not giving the reminder and assured me a waiver of that amount. But after the bill is generated with the charges of data usage included in that. And I am also not getting any response for customer care 121. Please urgently do the needful to me.

                I am a customer of Airtel DTH, i am totally fed up with your service, both customer care and your product .My customer id number is [protected].The problem faced me is not getting the channels.From the past few months am facing this issue but cant given the complaint due to some personal things .On Augest month i given the first complaint to customercare(12150) they given a 10 days TAT ,within that TAT i didnt get any call from your technical department .Again i call to customer care getting several wrong committments from your executives and they tried to avoid me like providing 10ays or 48 hrs TAT and some of the executives disconnected the call,without my permision they put me on hold and disconnect.I complaint those things to Teamleaders Mr.Premji and Nikhil but i didnt get any better response from their side.On the next time call to customercare for spoken to teamleaders everytime getting reply is they are in meeting.Now getting only 2 malayalam channels,loosing the channels day by day ,till this time the problem nevere solved. Your customercare executives told me that no need to call again and agian thats why they disconnect the call from their end and they got this permision from their higher level for achieving AHT and other metrix this golen words said by the senior level executive too.He says that if have any complaint against executive send a mail . i dont know to whom i given my complaint .your customer care executive suggest me that contact any local technicians for solving this issue because this callcenter is an outsourcing company they havent any direct tieup with airtel company apart from given the complaint to airtel cant do anything .Is this is the way of caring the custome?? i think they dont know the meaning of customer care .All the executives are tried to avoid the customer while telling the compliants.From where i get a solution .Connection taken the name of my father Mr.Uthaman.i havnt any hope to solve this issues just given proper training to customercare executive for how to treat a customer

                  I had registered complaints with Airtel Digital TV customer care many times. Each time I'm told that a service Engineer is booked for you but after that no regards from them.
                  On calling the Engineer (Number given by Airtel customer care), he is also not responding to calls.
                  Because of this, the service is not available for use although the balance is being deducted daily!
                  Isn't this robbery?

                    Today (25/09/2012), Airtel activated 3 times its value added services without any request. Airtel use to do this kind of activation without informing to the customer. Today following value added services got activated without any request:
                    1). Message from: AT-VTEDUT -Thank you for choosing. How to write SOP at 7:59 PM
                    -> I called customer care they charged 50 paise/mint for my call, and refunded back that money.

                    2). Message from: AT-TFDEVO - Thank you for downloading devaarti from Airtel Spiritual Magzine. They deducted Rs. 30 at 10:30 PM
                    3). Message from : AT-AIRINF- Thank you for choosing SPRITUALMAGZINE_30P on your Airtel mobile. They deducted Rs. 30 at 10:30 PM

                    I tried to contact to Airtel regarding this activation, but not able to contact to customer care. Please help me to get my Rs. 60 back in my account and punish to Airtel service because it is a kind of cheating. We are working people hardly finding some time to check the balance amount, today just fortunately I checked and in a single day I found three activation of amount Rs. 75, that happened without any request.

                    Please let me know if you want any more information.

                    Airtel Mobile Prepaid — Activation of services without any request by customer

                    I am the prepaid user of Airtel Mobile service,

                    My mobile no is [protected].

                    Airtel Company activates it's services like Hello tune, Cricket news etc and deduct my balances without my request to activate the services.

                    I had warned them more than five times by calling them on their customer care no. 121 & requested them not to activate such services.

                    But Airtel repeatedly doing the same, I am very much embrassed,

                    I had purchased life time validity card which is valid upto 2032.

                    Therefore I do not want to surrender my sim card.

                    Please suggest what can be done,

                    EVen with my number, this is the problem.

                    I have never activated Comedy and Matrimonial.
                    And per month they used to cut 30 Rs each. I tried to many unsuccessful attempts to close those services. But, this has never been.

                    AirTel — Activation of services without request

                    I have an airtel sim (Mobile no. [protected]). I haven't called or messaged from it from the last two months. But airtel has been activating services like "Baba Ramdev Pack", "Viacom18" and "Jokes Pack" thereby deducting my balance. I had not requested for any of these services.
                    And even though i deactivated these services, they activated it again....reducing my balance from ~Rs.85 to Rs.0 .
                    please take strict action against airtel services and help me to get my money back(refund).

                    Airtel, Prepaid Mobile service — subscription of service without any request and deduction of amount

                    Dear sir,
                    On 07 Mar 2011, there came a message for me from AD - 54321 Saying "Thanks for downloading Java games from Airtel. You have been charged Rs. 30." The balance also was actually detected.
                    And i was shocked because i haven't downloaded any such Java game. Then i got another message from 56363 " Thanks for downloading the Cricket Pack. Below is your free download url. then 3rd message from AD-54321 for subscription of cricket pack @ Rs.3/- per day. Then i tried to contact costumer care to make a complaint. bur could not conected the customer care. So i went to kakinada customer care branch where they asked me to make a complaint on 125 on their service phone. Then i made a complaint to Airtel . I stated that i wanted to stop these services and also wanted my debited amount. They lodged it as a client. they told me that we got the service request from you to start the service.where as i didn't asked for the service. they told me to stop the service but cant refund the amount. When i asked the reference No of complaint they said that you will get a message on your mobile after this call.you will get the details. I did not got any message. Neither i am able to contact the customer care.

                      I used the online recharge facility of ICICI bank to recharge my mobile No : [protected] 0n 19.09.2012.
                      I recharged the mobile twice with the recharge amount of Rs 350. The details of the transactions are:
                      Date 19.09.2012; BIL/[protected]/0124/[protected]/91774: INR 350
                      Date 19.09.2012: BIL/[protected]/0124/[protected]/91774 : INR 350

                      Though the amount of Rs 700 was transferred from my account to Airtel account, my mobile was not credited with the required talk time.

                      I tried to contact your customer care numbers service several times. There is some serious problem in their customer care service and every time I failed to get in touch with the airtel representative.

                      I lodged the complaint through the online service of Airtel (Reference Id: PR[protected]: Dated 20. 09. 2012), but i am yet to get any response.

                      It is really frustrating to see the unprofessional practice of Airtel.

                      Airtel — Aittel Connectivity Problem

                      I have complained many times to airtel mobile service provider that I am not getting proper connectivity at my residence (E-14, CBRI Colony, Roorkee Near to IIT, Roorkee). But they are rectifying my problem and even not checked connectivity at my home. Due to poor connectivity My self & my wife paying more amount due to droped called.

                      Airtel Mobile e recharge — e recharge not credited to mobile

                      I made e recharge on 05/03/10 .from Balaji Mobile Sector -2 , Ranchi 4 for Rs. 100=00 to my daughter at her mobile [protected]. As per M/S Balaji he has e recharged at mobile no and transaction ID is[protected].But this recharge has not been credited to mobile.Customer care at Ranchi & New Delhi have done nothing to resolve the issue .

                      Airtel Mobile Service — Online top up not credited to mobile account

                      Top up has been done from the bank accout. Transaction has been succesfull. I have got the transaction reference number for the same too. The problem is " the amount deducted from the bank account is not yet credited to my mobile number" The problem happened two days back.

                      the same problem was addressed to the Customer care, for which i have got the reference number too. The supervisor has said that the amount will be credited in 48 hours.Even though the 48 hours are over,
                      the amount is not yet credited to my mobile. Top was done on 20-Feb-2011. time arround 12pm.

                      Top up details:

                      Rs 50 + Rs. 50 .

                      Customer care Request reference number: CANRC[protected].

                      what could be the possible solution for the problem from Airtel?
                      Similarly many others have also faced same problem, and i would like to add "Customer care service regarding the same is very Bad".

                      Airtel mobile number — abuse calls at unwanted time

                      one person with mobile number [protected] is caling me at odd time ....smtimes at 3 am smtimes 5 am and talks vulgar language ...he is even msgn me smthin vulgar again n again ....kindly help me with the same ...as i m realy getin didsturb coz of him

                        Customer service numbers are not working, contacted by email twice and the service executive called me,
                        He told me ,he'll carry out troubleshooting,
                        it seems the troubleshooting is still running...or airtel dth is in trouble.
                        .If anyone from airtel dth is reading this..do something..!!!!
                        TV is part of our day to day life..!!!
                        Considering my ALLLLLLLL previous experiences,
                        i would advice people NEVER EVER go for AIRTEL DTH..!!!

                          I am visiting Himachal Pradesh temporarily and reached here on 20 Sep 2012.

                          I recharged my existing Airtel Prepaid number [protected] the same day with the following recharges.
                          Rs 649/- Full Talktime
                          Rs 649/- Full Talktime
                          Rs 51/- SMS pack
                          Rs 23/- STD pack

                          I thereafter activated the Rs 950/- (6GB built-in data, post 6GB usage unlimited at 80kbps) 3G data plan on my phone using the 121 SMS service. I also got a confirmation SMS that the plan has been activated (around 8:20PM on 20 Sep 2012).

                          The prepaid balance in my account at that point of time with the 3G pack deduction of Rs 950/- stood at around Rs 348/- (Rs 649 +Rs 649 - Rs 950/-).

                          I thereafter started using my phone for data services. I did not make any phone calls.
                          I noticed after some time that my prepaid balance is much less. on further scrutiny I found that the data usage was being charged to my main balance. I made a phone call to the customer care number around 10:30 PM and was told that since the systems were undergoing some upgrade I would not be helped at that point and I was asked to call again the next morning.

                          By next morning (21 Sep 2012) the account balance had further decreased. I made a phone call to the customer care center and lodged a complaint. The same complaint was also lodged through another call from the Customer Relationship Center at Solan.

                          At this point I was told that the data pack was active and that the problem will be sorted out by 22 Sep 2012 12:30 PM.
                          I waited.

                          On 22 Sep 2012 I got a phone call from a representative of Airtel and she was explained the whole problem in detail. She called back after some time and advised that I should switch off the phone and switch it on and that problem has been sorted out by the technical team.
                          She also asked me the details about the amount of money that was wrongly debited and told me that it will be credited into my account.

                          Her advice did not solve the problem as even after switching off- on the phone the main balance kept getting deducted on data usage.
                          By the night of 22 Sep I had used up all my balance without making more than 5 calls.

                          I had to recharge the account with Rs 200/- full talk time on the night of 22 Sep 2012. The problem persisted and my balance was down to Rs 33/- balance by 23 Sep 2012

                          All the while I was repeatedly trying to remind Airtel of the problem by emails and also raising service requests on the My Aitel app on my phone.
                          I kept on getting automated replies and finally on 23 Sep I got a mail that said that "my account had been analyzed and there is no wrong charges made on my account towards the Mobile office browsing and the charges are deducted from my dedicated account not from your main account".

                          I immediately wrote back saying that this was not acceptable to me. The mail was also sent to the Nodal Officer as a CC.
                          Thereafter I haven't heard from Airtel at all. All my service requests and complaints have been closed without consulting me.

                          I have stopped using the said service and deactivated 3G services on that number.

                          I would request a full refund of Rs 950/- plus the wrong deduction towards internet usage.

                            I have purchased a Airtel broadband connection 1 month back. It worked for a few days well then I started experiencing frequent net disconnection.
                            I have lodged the complaint 3 times but still no action. My last 3 complaints regarding the same problem are 21641684, 22193370 and 22292820.
                            Also complaint 21641684 and 22193370 were marked resolved without asking me if the problem is solved. I registered my first complaint on 12th sep 2012,
                            second on 20th sep and 3rd on 22nd sep. I am fed up with pathetic airtel service. Also how come airtel service guys are closing complaints without any
                            action. This is really disgusting for any customer care service department. Is anyone listening in airtel or I just close the connection.

                              Hi Sir,
                              I got an Airtel Datacard ([protected]) on August 1st. Everything was fine until the generation of first bill and then the speed has gone down to 128 kbps. When contacted Airtel customer care they said you have exceeded the usage of 6gb usage. I made them clear that after the bill gets generated the speed has to reset to 7.2 Mbps and raised a complaint 2 days ago. Yesterday I called them again as my problem has not been resolved and they said your problem was not sent to the back end team we will resolve it within 24 hours.

                              Again now I contacted them they said you have to register a complaint to the technical team. I called up the technical team and they too say the same thing your complaint was not sent to the backend team we will resolve it within 24 hours. I am fed up with their service sir please do the needful

                                Hv a postpaid airtel connection. airtel num [protected] My mobile bill due date was 05 Sep 2012, I kept trying till midnight
                                Continuously but my debit card payment was denied, again on 06 Sep 2012 I tried again on airtel.com through
                                Instant payment option and managed to pay my bill of Rs 2797.34 got confirmation also from my bank
                                Account canara bank that money has been deducted from my account. Till now I haven't got any receipt from airtel intact they are repeatedly sending me sms and calling me saying that my payment is due.
                                I have got my passbook updated and the scanned copy was mailed to airtel as a proof that the said amount has been said and same has been deducted from my bank account. It's airtel system fault and they are not even bothered since 06 Sep 2012 and inspite of correcting the bill they have sent me msg of another bill with double amount and the sai amount which has been deducted from my account is also added in the new bill. This is just not acceptable . Pleas do the needful

                                I really hope ad trust this site
                                Since last one month I have been complaining about my aired postpaid mobile num [protected] . Many times I have mailed the proof/ documents related to the bill that I have paid the amount and money has been deducted from my account in Canada bank. Inspire of giving proof from the bank airtel guys are really troubling me everyday atleast many calls and sms I am receiving to pay the same amount which is already paid by me. I have been informed by airtel through sms and calls that my phone will be disconnected. This is ridiculous. This is absolutely not expected by airtel to its platinum customer. I am so disappointed by the services of airtel and would like to go for legal now

                                  Me and my Family live in Ramasamy street in Gopalapuram, airtel number : [protected]_tn.

                                  This is with great frustration I am writing this email... During July 2012, Airtel broadband (4 MBS) was installed and now (September 2012) there are numerous (atleast 15-20) calls made to service centre for disruption of service. The connection is not reliable and there is a pathetic delay in people coming and attending to the calls.
                                  Everytime, they give an ETA of 3 days and after that the problem is fixed temporarily and the problem repeats in less than a week.

                                  I would request an answer ASAP from Airtel:
                                  a. Please give a permanent fix if you are interested in retaining the customer ( or ) DISCONNECT IMMEDIATELY . There are other better companies who would provide a better service than AIRTEL.
                                  b. For service that is not used for more than 15 days in 2 months period, why should Airtel charge me? Is there a way to refund the money back?

                                  AIRTEL BROADBAND SERVICE — Complaint regarding broadband services | MENTALLY THREATENING ME AS A CUSTOMER

                                  I am completely frustrated with the service now a days given by airtel. Though I am Airtel customer since last 6+ years, never faced such a pathetic situation. In last 6 months I have raised aprox 20+ complains, few are listed below for the reference. Almost every evening I am calling the customer care and asking update on my complain. Some time they say ticket is resolved and some time your ticket is in reopen state very soon some back end person get in touch with you and will resolve the problem. But nothing is going forward since 28th Oct. Mean while I had call with supervisor as well in the customer care, he also repeated same response.

                                    I have been Airtel customer[protected] for more than 2 years and I had pretty good experience till MAY-2012. There were few small incidents but i believe they can be excused.
                                    In MAY 2012, all the hell broke out. There was heavy rain on 15 MAY in my area ( BTM layout 2nd stage) and internet stopped working. I called up airtel customer care about the issue. They informed me that router in that area was burnt and the issue will be fixed in a day or two. 18-MAY, I call up airtel customer service to inform that the issue is still not fixed even though i had informed about it. Customer care informs me that i had not complained on 15th and there are no records of same. I asked them to take a note of the issue and record it.

                                    I got a call from local technician on 20th MAY informing that he would visit my place at 2pm to see if there was any issue. I waited for him around 3 hrs and called him several times to check if he is coming. End of the day he calls me up and abuses that i was distrubing his work. Looks like his time was more precious than mine.

                                    I kept calling customer care support every day from 20th MAY to 28th MAY hoping that the issue would be resolved sooner. Finally, i gave up and requested Airtel to disconnect my broadband. That made AIRTEL to finally take me seriously, then there was call from retention department and some other people calling me informing that the issue would be fixed in a day max. Then i waited for another 3 days and the issue was still not fixed. Finally, I asked them to disconnect my
                                    connection immediately and issue me final bill. They take connection and my router, inform me that router amount will be adjusted in the bill.

                                    To my surprise, the bill was RS.3000/-. I called up airtel customer people and informed them that i was incorrectly billed. Since I was to pay only one month and 10 days bill, which would be 1212 + 404 = 1616. The modem would cost = Rs. 1400 , I had made initial deposit of = Rs.250. Logically, i had nothing to pay to airtel. Even if they wanted me to pay something should not be more than Rs.500/- . Then, they kept calling me, harassing me almost every day to make payment .

                                    I would get a call from random number and they would ask me to pay money using abusing language. Initially, I kept my cool and explained every number that there is a misunderstanding. Called customer care and explained several times about billing issue. There seems to standard reply and to my surprise lot of time, my issue was not even recorded. After harassing me on regular basis, Finally, some one took my incident into consideration and changed my bill to Rs. 2200/- . I have now received a sms about case being filed for bill payment. I have no clue, what should do about it.

                                    These AIRTEL PEOPLE ARE FRAUD AND CHEAT PEOPLE. ( I would request everyone not to buy any connection from AIRTEL )

                                      I have never opted for this"fusion lounge_1. But i have been wrongly charged for it. Also, when i called their cuatomer care, they are saying call on this number, message on that number.. And when i send message, they say that my mobile has not activated for any service.Then why i m being charged for it????? Please do somethin..

                                        Ref. Cust. id [protected], paid 1790/- online on 23.7.12 transaction id 20662917, order no.2353221 installed on 27.7.12.
                                        Airtel digital TV website advertised on its main/first page, 'buy online & get Reebok watch' and on 2nd page, 'pay one price.get any pack.get free....Reebok watch worth 2599/-'. ONLY after seeing this, I opted for airtel and applied for new DTH connection by uploading my name & mobile number on this website. On telephonic call from Airtel Delhi office, I was told to pay by credit card through mobile itself (IVR). And at that time I also confirmed about this free gift of watch. I was told by the caller that promotional offers are sent by sales team after 1 week of installation. Prints of both these pages from airtel website are with me which clearly says that Reebok watch will be sent free on new connection. I applied for the new connection by giving my name & phone number online on website only.
                                        IT IS CLEAR CASE OF CHEATING, MISLEADING/FALSE ADVETISEMENT. Airtel after my complaint, has removed this 'free watch'offer from its website which means that it understood that its cheating has been exposed.
