[Resolved]  Airtel — New Broadband connection

I have requested for a new broadband connection on Feb 9, 2013 via airtel.in website. A person named Suthagar from airtel called up on the request and visited the house after 5 days on Feb 14, 2013 and took Rs.500/- as advance for installation. He promised us to finish the installation by Feb 16th. It has been more than 5 days since the promised date, but we have not seen any progress with the request. When called him, he kept promising, the connection would be available the next day failing which he would return the money back to us. But, till today nobody has visited the house to setup the connection nor responding properly over phone as well. This is really painful to go behind them everyday for no action.
Ironically, we received a msg today saying, "The connection has been setup along with user details", which is ridiculous.

I would like to take necessary actions immediately on the concerned person and the team who is responsible for this and am expecting immediate refund of my money.

AirTel — New broadband connection

I registered on 30/07/2008 for Airtel Broadband connection at Airtel office near church, ramamurthy nager. I also made a payment of Rs1000. After not hearing from them for two weeks, i went to the AIRTEL office to enquire and was told that connection in bhavani street is not feasible (contrary to what they said before registration????). I asked for refund and was told that DD would be sent through post. I dint hear from them for a long time and now its been a month - I am still waiting for DD. Hopefully, i hear from them and get back my 1000. After going through my mail, some of you may be aware of the problem i faced and will be cautious of the Refund process. I heard Airtel Broadband connection is fast and good but REFUND process is very very slow…… hahaha —–

AirTel — Requested for a new Broadband Connection

My name is Harcharan & i am a resident of 46-B Janta Flats, Krishna Enclave, Ahok Vihar Ph-III New Delhi 110052.
I have previously applied for a Airtel Broadband connection about 6 months ago. These people were provided with all the requirements (as in application form, money, & documents) about 1 month after they mentioned that they can't provide a broadband connection as there is no wire there. I got the refund back after 4 months after getting back to the lives of Airtel outlet which is near my house.

A few days back about the begining of Sept., a lady by the name of Tanisha called me to know if i am interested in applying for a broadband. I informed her of the case which happened earlier. She got my address & said she will callback after checking.

She called after 5 minutes assuring me that they will be able to provide with the connection with 2 to 3 days. I again filled up the application gave them the cash & the documents requested.

For the last few days i tried calling them but nobody is picking up the phone, if someone picks up they say they will arrange for a callback, but no one calls back. I had a word with Isha, Amit & Tanisha but they arranged a callback but nobody called. I am really pissed of with the kind of treatment given & the customer service received. I would like to formally register this COMPLAINT.

Could we please check if something can be done.

I had applied for a new broadband connection on 20/4/2013 online on airtel website after paying rs.50 with application number CH1345547 and ACaf - ONCHENN00336572. An agent came subsequently, collected rs.1599 towards the connection and provided a receipt for the same and took the details required. No feedback was received though a connection was to be provided in three days time. A complaint was registered on 30/4/2013 with a complaint number 32130414 at the airtel office. I was told that the agent had run away with the money and they were trying to trace him. I told them that the receipt clearly was from airtel and that i cannot be held responsible for their administrative issues. A connection was promised in three days which did not happen. Nothing materialized. Two complaints were registered online, Lb[protected]
LB[protected] which yielded nothing. A mail to http://121.in.airtel.com/ and to appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com yielded no response. Multiple calls to [protected] which is airtel broadband service number with the following complaint numbers,[protected],[protected], 33378590 did not provide a response. A final registered post to the office for refund in june and a call to airtel broadband ( complaint number[protected] also did not have any outcome. A standard answer of there is no information about you in our database comes from the online call center employee. This is despite my airtel mobile number being provided in the application. NEVER apply for airtel broad band as they do not have alternate application methods.. The company will take you for a ride. Am filing legally to recover the same.

Airtel customer chat support guided for this and selected plan of 849rs, which is 1Mbps. They promised me that the person from airtel will come home for installation and documents verification within 24-48 hours. Now after 4 days nobody came to my home and nobody even called me in mobile number.

What about that paid money 1000Rs?
Making false promise with new customer?

I msd an enquery through a direct web enquiry in Airtel portal. Someone call me from Airtel and assigned a Sales executive.With him I booked a new Airtel broadband connection + Vice Plan on 9th May 2015 by paying 1100 rs as installation charges. The Sales executive Umesh +91 [protected] came to my home collected the Money and also the required documents and promised to have the installation team contact me by monday.

No update from him I keep on calling he is not attending my calls. Not sure whom to follow-up for the installation.
