I activated airtel live on saturday but without downloading anything i was deducted 15 INR.And also iam unable to talk to coustomer care executive.

I try last 8-10 days to activate GPRS on My Mobile N70 Mobile Number 9766575366 . i send SMS GPRSACT to 511 but After each Four hours i do not rceieve Confirmation SMS From Airtel .
When I talk with Airtel Prepaid Customer Care Service Center , the executive do not help carefully and say send again SMS to 511 and Wait for Four Hours , I do Same but No result , i receieved poor service from you

I visited the Airtel center in Gandhi Bazaar, Basavanagudi,
Bangalore today(25-03-08) and wanted to know the different
options under prepaid and requested for prepaid tariff but they
were not able to provide me the same. Even they could not give
me the cotact ph. no. of Airtel so that i could directlly contact
them to know different options available. Can you help me to send this mail to Airtel and mail me details. Thanking you,

Customer Care and Airtel Service - Airtel Prepaid Connection

I have activated my GPRS service. But i was unable to access it so i called up customer care he launched my complaint as its a technical problem from there side, he said it wud be resolved in 2 hrs but as usual it was not. Again on next day other cutomer care launch a complaint regarding the same but it was not solved. And everyday this AIRTEL SERVICE charge me for GPRS ... the problem from AIRTEL SIDE.

CUTOMER CARE ONLY DON'T KNOW WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT SERVICE PROVIDED BY AIRTEL.
ITS SUCKS..
IF U CALLING TO CUTOMER CARE, THEY WUD LISTEN TO U FOR 10-15 AND IF THEY ARE ABLE TO RESOLVE UR QUIRE THEY WUD DISCONNECT THE PHONE. SAME WUD BE REPEAT 10 TIME.

poor services of gprs - Airtel

I HAV STARTED THE CONNECTION OF AIRTEL HAVING NUMBER 9878430760 FOR INTERNET, I AM TRYING TO DOWNLOAD YAHOO MESSENGER FROM LAST DAYS BUT MY ALL ATTEMTS WERE FAILED DUE TO LOW SPEED, IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO ME TO USE THIS CONNECTION.FROM MY NUMBER WHICH IS WITHOUT VOICE I CAN NOT CALL OR SEND SMS TO 121.FIRSTLY I HAV TO ARRANGE ANOTHER NUMBER OF AIRTEL TO CALL 121, BT THAY PEOPLE DONOT GIVE GUD RESPONSE. PLEASE HELP ME
 

Invalid deduction of downloading Charge in Airtel Live - Airtel

On 11.04.08 I had tried to download 20-20 game using Airtel Live / Game Menu, Game Cost is Rs.50/-, I selected download option, but downloading failed, i.e. Airtle Network fails to transmit the data(Game) to my Mobile, subsequently again I had tried again same result. I had checked my pre-paid A/c. and surprised to find that Rs. 100/- was debited from A/c.

I had contacted their Customer Care several times by SMS & calling ( My Complaint No. registered with them is 2041217440500 as they inform by Phone), requested to provide the game for which they had deducted amount and credit the remaining Rs.50/- to my A/c. if it is not possible for them, then they may credit Rs.100/- which had they deducted without the actually providing the service, downloading charge is Rs.50/- i.e. transmission charge, not the downloading Menu selection charge. In my case 0% percent game was transmitted to my Mobile. As such this deduction of Rs.100/- from my A/c. Airtel pre-paid Balance) is their system err or their deliberate cheating. Till now they had not resolved my complaint.

In is connection I would like to add that Mobile Set is Sony Ericsson K700i & my mobile No. is 09831244527.

In view of above I request to forward my voice to proper Authority and this type of system err or their deliberate cheating can prevented to other users and I will get justice in the matter.
 

no customer care and bad service - Airtel Prepaid

I am a customer of Airtel prepaid. My address is NTPC Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur. I am using airtel since October'07 in Bihar. Sometimes back i was facing GPRS problem. I tried the GPRS helpdesk of customer care but nobody picked the phone and i was told to send my problem on 121 via message, that too in only 150 letters. Rather than entertaining my problem seriously they kept sending me the GPRS settings. And one day luckily a person on customer care picked the phone. But rather than solving the problem he told me to check the settings and then too many rubbish ideas. That problem was for one week and it automatically got over. But now i am facing outgoing problem from my mobile. The message comes 'all the lines are busy'. Again i tried to contact airtel but the same thing. Then i send the message on 121. The reply came this problem will be over in 6 hours.But since 19th april'08 it's not.

Bad Airtel Prepaid Service and customer service - Airtel Prepaid

I am using Airtel Prepaid Service since last 3 years.I was quite happy
with the service provided by Airtel and thats why I use to tell others
also to use the same service. But since last year the quality of service
provided has been degraded badly.Customer care don t bother to listen to
customer. They are, there only for name shake.When its time to activate
any kind of service, that they do it sometimes without any request from
a customer n when customers come to know about it and asks to deactivate
such service, these people keep them on hold, tells customer that it will
be deactivated with in 48 hours or they ask to send some kind of sms to
a number etc.. But even after 48 hours service remains activated.
And when customer gives call again for the same, customer is told that
service has been deactivated, but in-fact it has not been.Or customer is
kept on hold for long time without any response if customers complaints
number of times.Its we the customer who suffer because of this stuff. We
get your service for convenience but its the inconvenience which we get
most of the time. When we go to relation center they ask us to call
customer care, when we call them they keep us on oxygen of 48 hours or
ask us to call again.
Since March 2008, some kind of service has been activated on my no-, I am receiving some volatile messages atleast 4 times
daily and I m being charged for those messages. I have given a complaint
to customer care. For the first time I have been asked to send sms to
some no, it didn t work. Than again when I gave call, I have been asked
to wait for 48 hours.I did that, and got message from airtel that
service has been deactivated, but infact it has not been deactivated
yet, still I am receiving those volatile messages.
I have already changed my card twice because of such kind of services
which these people don t deactivate and I have to bear the monetary
loss. Again same thing is being repeated, every time I can t keep on
changing my card.
 
Airtel cheating customers
I am using Airtel prepaid card. On April 10, 2008 I received daily one SMS from Number 529061.I just opened SMS immediately 1 Rs deducted from my account .


Immediately I called customer care 121 and asked about this stupid thing, they said this service will be activated if we open the SMS. And to unsubscribe this service we have to call the same number from which the SMS sent. I didn’t want to do it from my side .So I logged complaint. Two days on Apr 13 around 5:05 PM the service has been deactivated after I called customer care and asked about it, though the money not been credited to my account. Again I called customer care (121) they logged complaint and it is expected to be solved on Apr 17th end of the day. But I was not convinced so I asked call centre executive for customer care email id. He given me the Airtel web site and asked me search, finally that call terminated by him.

I am going to wait till May 17th.If it is not solved I want to take this issue legally. If any one knows how to approach the things further please tell me.
 

Cust.care unsatisfactory service - Airtel prepaid mobile

I sent sms MO to 121 for settings of GPRS & MMSsettings for my mob. no. +919934016475, but got sms:"Your Samsung SGH-N500 does'nt support automatic configuration of services.Call 121, from where no cust. care rep.was cotactable.
Presently I am using theSIM in Nokia 3110C, which is GPRS enabled.Pl. send my settings soon.

Airtel guy has called me and asked to recharge with Rs 110, and told me that you will get same plan and service will be continued for oneyear and you will get Rs 98 talktime on this recharge. When I did the same, I got the talktime only for Rs 10/- and service validity only for 15 days. This is purely a "LOOTMAR" from airtel. And no body is available for complaint, on No 121 there is no option to talk anybody
Who will take care of this ? who will stop this ?
 

Charging of outgoing calls/ GPRS charges. - Airtel Prepaid

1. I am a postpaid customer from Haryana. I have noticed the outgoing calls are charged by airtel from the time ring starts passing and not from the time it is being picked up. Is company right in doing so? I think no other service provider is doing it.
2. I subscibed for daily GPRS on 21 Aug 08 at 2017 hrs and sent a request for deactivation of service 1950 hrs. The confimation was received at 1953 hrs for deactivation, but still I was charged for 2 days of usage, again a wrong practice.

Plz clarify.

Internet connection, out going calls, unable to contact costomer care executive - Airtel

I purchased an airtel sim having following details:
mobile no: 9006655286
I recharged it with life time voucher and requested for internet connection. Even after about one month of requesting for Internet connection, till now it has not been given by the company. And now all the outgoing calls have been stopped, although having more than Rs 300=00 in my account. I am also unable contact with the customer care executive because whenever i do so there is a computerised voice response and the call ends without contacting the executive.
I request Airtel officers to take actions as soon as possible and help me out. I have been using Airtel for a long time but I have never faced such problem. I hope Airtel would certainly help me out.

my mobile no. is 9993446101 & there is no facilities aviable even on doing divert on airtel mobile so kindly activate call diverting facilities . we did comlaint several times on customer care but no any responsible result given by customer care . if you are unable to activate this facilites i will do some through consumer forum within 48 hours so plz do the needful...jitendra sagar mp
 

No customer care - Airtel/prepaid mobile

Sie no one listens to the customer of airtel, my mobile no is 9871456989 the airtel poeple are deducting the amount without any infromation.without using any service a message comes"thank you for downloading a sum of Rs 35/- will be deducted". Without any information caller tunes are added and sum is deducted. Jain phrases are sent without any information and also " i am not a Jaini" and amount are deducted.This is pure extortion, Robbery, Will any one listen to us problem. No one speaks on customer care. only recorded messages are heard. Please do some thing.This is not business. regards "psahay"
 

Unsolicited sms - Airtel prepaid mobile service

I am receiving lots of unwanted SMS from airtail service provider. Iam now tired to delete everyday all these SMS. i want this must stop immidiately.

Invalid Charges applied - Airtel Prepaid Services

I have a Airtel lifetime prepaid connection. Because of the bad signal strength in my area i discontinued using the card. I had the missed call service activated on my number however i got it deactivated thrice. I am still getting billed for some missed call alert service and the balance getting deducted despite the number not being in use. I also tried calling the customer support but they don't know the reason for the deductions.
