[Resolved]  Airtel Prepaid — Blocking of outgoing calls without any intimation

My mobile number is[protected] and has been blocked by Airtel (Prepaid) for outgoing calls today (oct 4th 2011) without any prior information. The reason for blocking is the documents i submitted are not in line with what Govt of india wants.

I am using this mobile since last 9-10 years and stay at the same address. I made so many calls to customer care service most of the times the calls get disconnected while waiting for a customer care executive. However after trying for almost about 30 minutes i got thru and they said that i had a verification bar. The representative even asked me to verify my address and the address i gave on the phone exactly matched with what Airtel has in their computer system.

I checked with them why my number was having a verification bar, they mentioned that i did not answer the questions correctly when they called me for verification.
I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY CALL FOR VERIFYING MY DETAILS in last 2-3 months. Please give me the details of when i received that call, who called me, date and time etc... otherwise don't provide this reason to block my outgoing calls.

Also, I would like to know what is the Governemnt Norm (document) that mentions the customer to submit verfication documents every now and then, and what has been the changes in norm NOW that requires us to submit the documents again ? What is the frequency of submitting documents again as per this norm?

I hope my problem is resolved immediately., The REP told me that they can only activate my mobile outgoing calls after i submit the documents, however there are other operators like Tata etc. they activate the customers immediately and give them a week;s time to submit the documents. Then why AIRTEL does not have this? All service providers should treat their customers equally when the REASON is the same for blocking outgoing calls..

Airtel Postpaid — Barring outgoing calls without any details

This is with reference to the complaint number F[protected] with Airtel customer care.

I started my postpaid connection with Airtel in month of September after verification of all my details (my residence proof).

Suddenly on 25th of september i got a call from Airtel customer care executive to re submit my identity proof on the same day threatening that otherwise my services would be discountinued.
My Passport proof copy was submitted on 25th September itself;however by evening my outgoing calls had been barred.

After enquiring at the customer care,they told me that i am supposed to fill up the Subscriber enroll ment form at the Airtel centre.

I visited Airtel centre,Kalyan but they told me that the form need not be submitted and my services would be started again.

The services given by Airtel are really in a pathetic state.

Airtel Prepaid — Block my outgoing call

Dear Sir,

I am using service since more than 4 years.In last 4 years I have submitted the document twice.Now after so many year they certainly blocked My service for address proof and identity proof.

Now I am not able call from my number.[protected]

I am using service since more than 10 years. That time have submitted all the document as per your requirement. From yesterday my out going call are blocked. I am requesting you that please open the out going call immediately and I asure you that after 7 days I submit all the document as you desired becouse I am out of station during these days.

Airtel — block my outgoing without intimation

I had taken 2 sim card in my sons name giving his driving licence as id proof the numbers are [protected] and [protected] for 15 to 20 days there was no problem then i could not call (outgoing) i felt must be network congestion due to rains whenever I would dial any number I would get the message call line congestion for two week i kept quiet thinking it is due to rains but thir d week past by i asked my son to findout with the person whom i bought the cards he asked us to contact airtel when he went to them they are telling us the number is registered in some muslim fellows name how can this be possible it is I who had filled the form with my own hands and submmitted it with the copy of the license as well as the photographs then how can a muslim name appear in our registration now when we are asking him to cancel he is asking us details of that muslim person who is hell is that man god alon knows from where are we to submit his details are your people blind who do registration and it is done purposely to harass people. It would be kind enough if you please cancel both numbers. your services are miserably bad. we have one card of idea for past three years but till date we did not have such a problem. did a great mistake by taking airtel. please cancel our number immediately.

my no [protected] two month back i came from reliance.lost 10 years i have this num.i gave two times my identity proof and photos to my airtel dealer [green tel] ramnagar first street tirupur 641602. u suddenly cancell my no.i have airtel land line for lost 8 years in my name no [protected].what evidance u want i am ready to give. i have three airtel no [protected] and [protected] and [protected] all airtel num are in my name..i want this num.[protected] so pls activate as early as possible .this is not my mistake .pls note.without any intimation please dont cancell the numbers BY.SRINIVAS.B
