AirTel — currency deduction
Im using airtel service since 3 years, it ws good compare to other services. but since two days automatically currency deduction is takinig place even though Im not downloading anything from airtel live with adownloading message from 64611050.Im fed up due this.I hope to get solution otherwise I WIIL GO MEDIA. I complained( FARUK, MANAGER) many times but no solvation.

Airtel — Unfair deduction of money from mobile balance
Sir,This is to inform you that i am a user of Sirtel mobile service.
company had deducted Rs.60 from my mobile balance (Rs.15 each time, 4 times) on the basis of some subscriptions on 28 june and 11 july.On asking about this they replied that its due to use of GPRS.
After that i requested them to please deactivate all those subscription, and they replied that all fecilities have been deactivated on 13 july.On 18 july again they charged Rs.15 due to same subscriptions and some others which i never ever subscribed.
On reporting this matter no action was taken and not even my money has been returned.

AirTel — Deduction of money from balance
Within one month I have faced the same problem thrice. They are deducting Rs 30.00 towards deferent services which I have not subscribed. After calling to customer care service they refund it. Today they are not responding to my call. Is it not one type of cheating business ? If escaped alright , If caught refund.Airtel — Unfair deduction of balance of prepaid a/c

Airtel Mobile — unfair deduction
I am having a ssmart phone but i have stopped useing airtel live /mobile office service for long time due to their exuberent cost and cheating by them ( hidden cost , charging for desplayed free content etc) suddenly airtel have dedected 99 Rs for some stupid tadkalive activation which i have never activated from my side . after complaining to customer care the have accpted their mistake and refunded my balance .to my surprise after another 6 days they have again dedected 20 rupees for continuation of tadka live .....and this time they are not willing to refund me .I have never visite dthere site, am registered with do not disturb service and never send any sms to activate it.in fact i have asked them to deactivate even airtel live permanantly on my no which they are not doing as it is PREACTIVATE SERVICE.like this they are cheating so many people . I am even not aware what is this tadka live is all about how come i activte it at 2 0 clock in midnight ...........and why airtel is unfairly deducting amount for no reasonAirTel — deducted more money
Dear sir, i am one of the airtel prepaid user, and i recieved one sms from 55678 number regarding quiz per minute 3 rupees, so i dialed 556782 number as shown in my mobile, i had 185.78 rupees balance in my prepaid, after 20 minutes my call was disconected due to isufficient fund, and i checked my balance that time 5.78 rupees shown in my mobile screen, i gave the complaint to airtel customer service, but till now there is no reply for this, please give me helpAirtel — Deduction of balance money whimsically
Reg: The Airtel connection no. [protected]Two phone calls were there where after receiving the particular calls, the provider charged for Rs. 10/ in each case. That is in particular case it is Rs.20/-.
We have a internet facility of Rs.98/- per month. But when ever internet is connected Re.0.60 per minute is being deducted from the main balance as call / sms charges which is not as per their tariff.
Both the case I was cheated by the provider. I require the money back from the service provider.

AirTel — Unfair deduction of money from balance
Respected sir,I am sahil Sharma of jaipur (Rajasthan). I am a bharti airtel prepaid customer ([protected]) since past 7-8 years.
This is to bring to bring to your kind notice that On 28 nov 2010, i got my number E-recharged by a local vendor for Rs.98 (GPRS Pack) and the next day (29 nov 2010) only airtel deducted Rs.98 from my balance as the auto renewal of GPRS pack. I called customer care and informed them about this glitch and asked them to either waver those Rs.98 or extend the validity. But they denied to both and said it happened because airtel voluntarily activated auto renewal on my number without letting me know and the balance deducted because i had more than Rs.98 in my balance. I argued but in vain, i even told the representatives namely Tofiq and Paras Bohra (Senior) that i’ll go to consumer court and their reply was do as you like.
So now i’m helpless. Kindly help me in this regard.

i am narendra gangwar from bareilly (UP). I have activated 5 Rs. 50 MB mobile internet daily use pack and lost my other 47 Rs. just for nothing . when I enquired I came to know that they charged for GPRS service. Why they charge when they already charged 5 Rs. I also talked customer care for two times nearly for 10 minutes and lost another 2 Rs. but got nothing . they told me that they have lodged a complaint but I dont thinkso as nothing happened till today. so please enquire about the same...
AirTel — Unfair Deducting Balance

Hi Sir/Mam,My number is [protected]. Yesterday, on 5th March, 2011, I received a message saying "Thanks for subscribing Airtel Radio Service. You have been charged Rs 20."
I confirm that I did not subscribe to this from my side. Hence, I humbly request you to please deactivate this service from my number [protected].
I also wish to inform you that something similar happened a month ago in early Feb 2011. I was deducted Rs. 5 for Hello tune activation. I called your call center, waited for 6-8 minutes, and deactivated it. Yesterday's incident is the 2nd one.
I can't keep doing this again and again. I value my Airtel relation. But these dirty incidents will kill my faith in your company.
Once again I request you to please do the needful and refund my deducted balance of Rs. 20.

However, I got my issue resolved. I called Airtel 121 and the exec was good and quite suddenly helpful. First he said I initiated a key 1 press to signify activate (Airtel Radio) when the auto IVR # [protected] called me. When I mentioned about the unscrupulous practices and this thread, he suddenly turned helpful and immediately offered refund.
This is the 2nd complaint in a month I am seeing from the same prepaid #, and for me, this is no coincidence (I have 3 Airtel prepaid #s). I WONDER WHAT COULD BE THE PLIGHT O[censored]NSUSPECTING INNOCENT CUSTOMERS !!
In case Airtel (or other telecom) heads are reading this, here's my point:
1. Most considerate customers are not worried to death over small things like Rs. 5 or Rs. 20, but your corporate image & sub bases are in danger, especially with MNP lurking in India.
2. Please investigate if there are any malpractices in your call centers. I came to know from Airtel "dealers" that they exist.
3. Since I like Airtel services and genuinely care, I decided to put in this typing work.
I wish the best for Airtel.

Airtel — Unfair balance deduction (Airtel live)
I've been accessing free facebook on airtel live settings on my airtel number since many weeks...but then i started using same on my another airtel sim ( number [protected] ) on 2nd march...everything went fine and i was able to access free facebook on it. i hardly used it for 5-10 minutes..But after 15-30 minutes , i received a service message from airtel saying that thanks for using airtel live..And according to that message , i was charged a sum of Rs.50 for using airtel live,even though it is supposed to be free.Not only this, i was charged about rs 75 for it..i made a complaint by calling customer care and i was told that my balance would be credited before 7th of march...Then (on march 11) i again asked for balance refund but customer care executive and he told me that you must have used the airtel live service..he checked for a while and claimed I've used internet on 2nd 3rd and 4th march too...which was a claim...When i said i've only accessed facebook which is supposed to be free then he said no, facebook is not free...Then i said how can be credited rs 75 just for browsing for about 5 minutes..even if i download data for 5 minutes, i can't download this much..Is this your service airtel.?its been 11 days and I've not received my balance yet. Also,my balance was deducted 2-3 times after that unnecessarily thanks for using airtel live.I am really disappointed from airtel.First from unfair balance deduction, then from customer care executives.
i want balance refund of about 70-80 rs on my number ([protected] )as soon as possible

Airtel — Money deducted before the actual time.
I got a message from Airtel that your airtel talkies service will be renewed in 3 days.I got this message on 16 March 2011 around 8.30 am. They deducted the money from my account before 3 days on 18th March 2011.I called them them they are saying they will deduct the money anytime after 48 hours. The information is not communicated properly and for that i lost my 30 rupees.

Airtel — addition of 3g services and hello tune without my request
the airtel co has started 3g facility and hello tunes on my mobile no. [protected] without my request or any confirmation. while i contected with them today they informed that there is no any such facility given to me, while they have deducted Rs. 59 for 3G and Rs. 15 in the name of hello tunes. After this i have tried to contact them for more then 25 times from my mobile but they cut the line without talking from their customer relationship officer.Now i am requesting you to do the needful and revert the facility alongwith my money and make a penalty on them, so they will stop cheating their customers.
