[Resolved]  Airtel — Upgrade to HD+

Airtel digital tv customer care is the worst I have ever seen. I am not sure how they are still retaining customers in spite of this poor customer service.
I have requested for upgrade to HD+ and paid the full amount, but the installation has not happened. In spite of multiple attempts of connecting with customer care(misnomer), which promised to do the installation in last 2 days, it did not happen. I was working from home, believing them for 2 days, and they didn turn up.

They have wasted my 2 more days...Customer service, worst, not proper response, lot of folks disconnect when I speak in English as they know only Hindi, lot of commitments to call back and update..nothing happens...false promises. I ended up waiting for these guys two more days. If this is not resolved in 1 more day, will switch to tata sky+. Already enquired and they have good packages

There is no action, inspite of calling customer care around 20-30 times in last 1 week.
True the customer care is worst. At first when i dial a toll free 18... after 2 min of clicking and navigating to the right menu the operator speaks and the moment i say HD+ upgrade they ask me to call 12148...when i dialed it, it says dial 12150. And then when i say 12150 and after clicking and navigation for 2 1/2 min, operator speaks to me and says call to toll free and raise complaint. I scolded him and said that its been 2 days after my payment and still not getting HD channels. He says he will do Heavy Refresh at his system and he said call back after 2 hours. Still same issue after 1 day. On third day i call up again and operator speaks to me and says need to wait for 48 more hours to have all HD channels viewable.

DISGUSTING AIRTEL DIGITAL TV service.

Better to switch to TATA SKY+ or any other.
