I am Himanshu Soni (mob: [protected]) and want to log a complaint against Airtel Telemedia Services.
I have took airtel broadband connection ([protected]_kk) 8 months back, there were no issues for initial 2 months. but dont know what has changed after that i stopped receiving my bills and receive it only when i log a complaint to airtel and that to duplicate bills not the original one after n number of follow-up.
so, i stopped making payment as i was not receiving the bills, then they disconnected my line and then again i chased them like anything finally a person came to my house with the duplicate bills. I made the payment and then they released my line back and i received assurance from appellate officer that in future i'll not face the same again.
But I again faced the same billing issues, they charged me rental for the time span when they had disconnected my line and had not received the bills for same as well. so have not made the payment again and logged complaints, worte to appellate officer again they took 8 day to respond with no solution but with problem ticket numbers like 2724542, 2443694... which got closed without any solution to me.they have again disconneted my line since 9th August and wantted me to make the payment, yesterday i received the duplicate bills for last 3 months. I had a talk with appellate officer asked them to release my line and i'll pay the money.but they dont agree to it, they want payment first... I dont trust airtel any more because they have no value for customers.
they have charged me again rental for entire month, thought they have disconnected the services.
Now i have gave-up and placed a request 2991786 for the cancellation of my line, which they took with no regret.

I checked in airtel site for 2G internet usage (2 GB) in airtel site and found that it is Rs199 and recharged my mobile for Rs.199. When I turned on my internet all my account balance got deducted.
When I contact customer care, the representative told that offer is for Rs.198. Why don't u update ur site with correct details?
My mobile number is [protected] and it is under 299CUG plan with internet usage of 1GB limit.
My mobile credit limit is 3600 rupees.
In the monthly bill statement, on 11-Feb-2015 it is showing high usage and it crossed 1GB without using internet from my side.
For the overall bill cycle, it is showing 1.8GB as consumed. For the 0.8 GB, customer service is asking me to pay around 8000 rupees.
The issue was reported on 11-Feb-2015 and customer service updated me through SMS on 13-Feb-2015.
During internet limit crossing and amount limit crossing, customer service did not provided me any intimation till next 2days i.e 13-Feb-2015.
From 14-Feb-2015 my outgoing is blocked and asking me to pay the bill for around 8000.
Today, my SIM got suspended.
I am using this number from last 3.5years and never my bill crossed 600 and never my internet usage reached 1GB.
Airtel Customer service doing wrong internet charges in the bill and asking to pay 8000 for 0.8GB.
Also in market, for 1GB cost is around 200 rupees. But for post paid customer, playing the GIMMICKS and asking to pay the mentioned amount.
Kindly help me in resolving this issue.
