[Resolved] Dish TV — Poor Dish TV customer service | |
I am DishTV subscriber since May 2007 and I regret I did not opt for Tata Sky. I am saying this because the customer service you provide is third class (actually it is even below but there is no word to describe that). I land up into dish alignment problem almost every 15-20 days and some of the channels are 'gone' (this is another issue to which nobody has satisfactorily answered as yet). Thus I need to call up my dealer (who charges Rs. 150 for every visit). So this time instead of calling up my dealer to fix the problem I called up your customer service (and I committed a bigger mistake than opting for DishTV). Following list describes what I went thru: 1. Most of the time the[protected] number is engaged (wonder why as it is a toll free number) 2. If you get connected, you have to wait for a long time to speak to a customer representative. If you are lucky enough, somebody finally answers the call 3. They say they will send a DishTV technician with 24-48 hrs. I believe in your terms 24-48 hrs are equal to 15 days. Nobody showed up till almost a week, so I called up customer care again (again faced issues 1 and 2 listed above). They said somebody will come 'tomorrow'. Again nobody showed up for the next week. 4. I kept on getting calls from the local service centre in Pune (I am based in Pune); everytime asking if I have logded a complaint and if anybody showed up. I got 5-6 such calls. 5. Finally after almost 3 weeks of frustration, the great day dawned and I was blessed to see a dishtv guy at my doorstep. He did some alignment and went away. I did NOT pay any kind of charges as my late fee. 6. When the dishtv guy arrived, I again called up the service centre who sent this guy to verify but they were unaware of that guy and he himself had to talk to them and confirm that he had been sent by them. I don't know how you can manage such stuff. Now I know why you are giving set-top boxes for free. You have a very bad customer service, you know people will call you n-number of times as they will have n-number of issues, so you would make all the money thru service charges (which the customer should pay even though the service is not given as promised). You should think about these issues and try to address them especially when the stock price of Dishtv is continuously on the downfall. I am having platinum package but I am not getting NEO Channel for enjoying live telecast of Cricket Match being held at Ahmedabad. Would you please advise me what I should do for subscribing NEO Channel at an early date.
Channels are not coming last night-frm 11.30 PM.

Soon we will see dish tv lands no where... Please no other users don't became victims of Dish TV.
