[Resolved] DishTV — Pathetic Service & Non Resolution of complaint | |||
Dear Sir, I have been a DishTV consumer for a long time now (VC no. [protected]). I do my recharges for the Platinum pack well before the due date every month and try to be punctual every time while paying any money to the company. I think as a consumer I have all rights to expect similar behavior from the company's side - service and behavior that should make a customer like me happy if not "delighted". I am sure you would appreciate the efforts of all service providing companies attempting to "delight" customers - it has become a very high priority nowadays. 5 days back, I was suddenly not able top view quite a few channels - the usual dish alignment problem. I proceeded to lodge a complaint through the DishTV helpline ([protected]) and was given 24hrs time till resolution and reference number 56538314. Time passed - India won the world cup and so much happened in the world but still no technician turned up at my place and no calls from DishTV or anything - many channels still were blanked out. I called up the Bangalore helpline [protected] many times to know about any developments and was always assured of "quick action" and "prompt action within 2 hrs", callbacks and what not - funnily nothing concrete happened. However, as I write this email after 5 days and a series of calls to the helpline, my problem is still not resolved. I have reached a stage where I am so frustrated that all I want to do so is go to the rooftop - wrench the DishTV dish out and throw it in the garbage and call up the local Tata Sky, Airtel or Videocon guys to get me a fresh connection. Not only is the DishTV service being provided surprisingly bad but it also borders towards unsympathetic towards long time customers like myself and almost takes customers' and their patience for granted. If you at all get and read this email and maybe take some action, I must say that I will never be the same customer of DishTV ever again after being tried for my patience so badly in the last 5 days. For some routine information, the connection (VC No. [protected]) I mentioned above is in the name of Pratap Singh while I, Chiradeep Mukherjee use it.
