[Resolved]  Hcl Laptop — Service centre

Dear sir/madam,
I bought a HCL laptop from new delhi 2 years ago. now i find my CD writer can not write when i used nero which was provided to me with the laptop.Earlier i never tried to write anything. Whatever, i went to the service centre on[protected] at 203,bajaj house,nehru place,new delhi.They checked it and said CD writter is damaged. So ,it need to be replaced. As a new piece of Cd writter drive was not available with them ,so they asked me to come later after confirmation from Miss Jasbeer.They charged me Rs 500, but did not give me the receipt as the concerned official had already left.After 10 days one of my friend having some knowledge of computers came to me . He checked my system and told me your writer is alright, nero will not work. You try with other software. I tried with XP inbuilt Cd writing system and found everything is fine.
So, my complaint to you is about-
1. Inefficiency of your people.
2. If you receive money ,then give receipt. As i am not at fault, why should i pay for? Coming again to collect it is wastage of both time and petrol.
Please try to increase the knowledge of your people as HCL Laptops are yet to become a consumers 1st choice.

The power button and the mouse left and right click must be smooth . also the volume of hcl laptop's are very less as compare to the compaq and hp .
yes, i also hav d same problem for HCL laptop, after starting lappy sudenly it shows error with blue screen and den it automatically shut down

Myself Dr. Neeraj Tandon, H.No. 419, Govindpuri, Kankher Khera, Meerut, have purchased a new Laptop Model – Note book – HCl AXDB2839 C2D, with CARRY CASE - HCL from Galaxy Infotech, Narain Market, 14, P. L. Sharma Road, Meerut at 16/04/2009.

The Bill No. is SALES Invoice >> Cash Book No. 5, Bill No. is GALAXY/RI/0222/09-10. The total cost of both, Laptop Model – Note book – HCl AXDB2839 C2D and CARRY CASE – HCL was Rs. 31, 500.00, was paid on same date as cash payment.

The machine Serial No. is 9084AX107258. The warranty period of the Machine is 12 month from installation or 13 months from the date of delivery whichever is earlier as described in the my warranty card Notebook. Both the Laptop Model – Note book – HCl AXDB2839 C2D and CARRY CASE – HCL are in the warranty Period from date 21/07/2009 to till 16/04/2010. The Warranty Card No. 10540421.

After purchasing this machine Note book – HCl AXDB2839 C2D, with CARRY CASE – HCL, it showed many types of problems. During working it was self disconnected and the system self shut down with in 10 minutes. Then I meet with Galaxy Infotech, Narain Market, 14, P. L. Sharma Road, Meerut. They forwarded me to the HCL Infosystems LTD. Authorized Services Center: Expert Power System (I) Ltd., (Service Division), Shree Krishna Tower A-10, Ground Floor, Opp. Medical College, Garh Road, Meerut-250004.

They just checked it and repair it and said its just technical fault.

After some days the problem became major and I face a lot of problems, I am a Research Scientist in Life Science, and my lot of works and dealing depends on computer but due to there improper working of Laptop Model – Note book – HCl AXDB2839 C2D, my work also suffered.
Once again, I have tried for service of this system (Laptop Model – Note book – HCl AXDB2839 C2D) at Authorized Services Center: Expert Power System (I) Ltd., (Service Division), Shree Krishna Tower A-10, Ground Floor, Opp. Medical College, Garh Road, Meerut-250004, I have submitted my system for service at 16/06/2009.

After, a lot of visiting to Authorized Services Center: Expert Power System (I) Ltd., (Service Division), Shree Krishna Tower A-10, Ground Floor, Opp. Medical College, Garh Road, Meerut-250004, they return back my system (Laptop Model – Note book – HCl AXDB2839 C2D) at 30/06/2009.

The Technical staff member of this service center was very unqualified and their behavior was also disgusting, they behaved me much offered & rudely manner.

After that, the system (Laptop Model – Note book – HCl AXDB2839 C2D) was not working as properly, and the battery backup of the system was just 10 -15 minutes, so I could work on it.
Then I went to Authorized Services Center of HCL: Expert Power System (I) Ltd., (Service Division), Shree Krishna Tower A-10, Ground Floor, Opp. Medical College, Garh Road, Meerut-250004. They take my computer and behave me very roughly.

All the seals of the system were disturbed and a lot of the screws of the system were not tight / not found at their position & problem of the system still same.

Then, I meet to Mr. Shaker, Proprietor of Galaxy Infotech, Narain Market, 14, P. L. Sharma Road, Meerut, they asked me; all of the Hardware & software based services provide by HCL service center. He said, all of the seals of your system were disturbed, so you can contact to HCL service support.

So, My Laptop (Model – Note book – HCl AXDB2839 C2D) problem is still as usually and still there no way to help me to correct it. I purchased this system for working & presentations. After investing a big amount of my saving Rs 31, 500.00 in this system, I got nothing but got a lot of physical & financially, mentally tension.

At last what ever I do for these harassments from HCL INFOSYSTEMS Ltd. & their authorized dealer: Galaxy Infotech, Narain Market, 14, P. L. HCL Laptop — Camera not working properly

Whenever a heavy software is loaded the camera stops working for 1 hour-1.5 hour.I have formatted the laptop 4 times within one month and laptop is also under warranty.
this is my third time complain, i m shiv sharan sharma as i m student of KOHINOOR BUSINESS SCHOOL KHANDAL from where i got hcl company laptop (HCL LAPTOP P 41, serial no. is 7093AX016925 ) its TOUCHPAD is not working from starting. I would like to draw your kind attention that the said laptop I have purchased on 5th July 2008 from your local sales outlet(Durgapur) but after 8 months o[censored]sage, I was facing the following problems with this laptop.

Dated 5.3.2009 No charging is shown even laptop is in AC power and Microphone was not functioning - Informed to service centre and rectified the problem.

Again I had sent back to the said laptop to your nearest service centre, i.e. Kolkata @ 170KM away from Durgapur to rectify the following problems.

Dated May 2009 -operating system was corrupted-formating not done properly- charging problem. They returned the same to me on 12 august 2009. Almost 1.5 months was taken by your Kolkata service centre to resolve this issue.

But sorry to state that after receiving the same till now I am facing the following problems

I got my laptop's parts replaced a month back... the speakers that were replaced do not work... i had given ma laptop again at the service center hoping to get it back after 1-2 days as told by the service center people... its been more than 3 weeks now that i hav still not got ma laptop... the service is so poor and pathetic... there is no customer service at all... you should not committ of doing a particular job when you cannot do it... PATHETIC SERVICE!!!
I have not seen such a worst situation in laptops in my life. I have not put any password into my notebook but the bios is asking for password . I am not able to apply password and the system is halted. And i thougt hcl is the best manafacturer in india but it is the worst. So i suggest people do not buy hcl leaptops ever in your life.

HCL — Service center attitude

HCL leaptop reached me in a non working state the software was corrupt. visited HCL service center and they simply said that they cant help as this is a software problem.

How is it a customers fault if they receive the laptop with software corrupt.
i got my hcl I.M print model just before 2 months...and still now i haven got a software for taking images from the inbuilt digital 2.0mp camera?
please tell the software which i need to install for the same?
