[Resolved]  Hero Honda — Hero Honda Selling Defective Bikes

Hi,

Few weeks ago, one of my friends bought a hero honda passion from AUTO NEEDS showroom in Delhi, and right from the next day of purchase, his bike engine started turning off while riding.

I bought a hero honda hunk from AUTO NEEDS, Delhi, on 2nd Nov'08, and right from day 1, it had a major gear shift problem in the bike. When i told them the next day, they asked me to take my bike to the nearest workshop for repair.

It was pathetic, the bike also made some weired noice while riding. They are not willing to replace my bike. And also, the no. they printed on my bike is different from the no. they've given on my RC. It is because, the no. they gave me was later sold to a different customer for Rs. 500..
This way, they're selling the numbers to different people.

I had a very bad experience with Hero Honda. I wish i never bought a hero honda bike. I think Bajaj is always the best brand in bikes.

Hi,

I suggest, you better take the receipt of all the correspondence and appear in the consumer court. These biggies should know that "Customers are King" and they can't play with somebody's money.

I'm a hero honda customer from kerala.I bought a hero honda glamour bike 24 jan 2007.after running 15000 kms its engine got damaged.the problem is the burning of engine oil along with the fuel.I replaced engine cylinder kit under guarantee.but again after running 13000 kms the engine got damaged again with the same problem.why this happends with hero honda's bikes.also I got only mileage below 48 km/l through out the whole period.I'm a rider for the past 10 yrs so that the problem is not due to the lack of riding experience.after having all the six free services I regularly changed engine oil in every 2000 kms and I used hero honda 's 4T plus engine oil.Is hero honda's recent technologies are
going to failure.most of the hero honda bikes are experiencing the same problem (ie engine damage and lack of mileage)
Hi I am suhel shaikh I bought new cbz extreme on 28 Nov 2008.
after the bike registration in RTO, I went to bring my bike in HERO HONDA SHOWROOM, SHREE SAMARTH AUTOMOTIVE which is located in VERNA SALCETE-GOA I noticed that the bike was having some strong scratches on wind guard and on smoke silencer. So I spoke to the manager of HERO HONDA that to replace the parts of my bike. The manager was speaking very bad language with us and told me that he will not replace any part and he also challenge me that saying you can do anything from your side . so I directly went to Verna police station to register a complain when I speaking with a police that time I got a call from MR ATUL NAIK (SALES EXECUTIVE) he told me not to give complain and he promise me that he will replace those parts which was damaged.


So friends in future i[censored] face any bike problem please don’t waste your time speaking with MR GAURISH RAIKAR ( HH MANAGER) because he
Don’t have any manners to speak with customers. And feel free to speak with MR ATUL NAIK because he is the only respected person in HH.


SPECIAL ADVICE TO HERO HONDA
Don’t select the manager who doesn’t know how to speak with customer.
If it goes on continue I am sure that HERO HONDA will loose their customers. Select the people who respect customer like ATUL NAIK.

My name is preetem, working in a steel plant at calicut kerala and an owner of a PASSION PRO. I am from a very pour family. For the last 2 years I was saving my money to buy a new bike. I was looking for a BAJ DISCOVER, but all of my friends told me that HERO HONDA is the best and much more quality assured than bajaj, so I made my mind and bought a new PASSION PRO from a dealer named KOYENCO at calicut kerala.
I had used my bike for 5½ month and at 29th may 2009 evening a royal Enfield entered to the main road carelessly in front of me . He was such close to me that I cant able 2 apply my break. I hit to his handle and fell to the right side of the road.
From the primary observation I came to know that only3 foot step, 3 indicator, 2mirrors and 1side fiber cover was broken and injuries to me was only a minor scratch on my right hand. At the next day when had given my bike to the dealer I came to know that mostly all the parts of my bike got damaged. I was really surprised, even I was traveling at a speed of 40 to 45 Km/hr and met in a very small accident, how can that much of damage be happened ?
According to the dealer the major damages are
1)Front Fork
2)Chasses
3) Shock absorber
4)Handle Bar etc
Apart from the above damage small other damages are also there.

In a normal small accident the main damages will be the damages of fiber parts which is more exposed outside, but in my case mostly all the fiber parts are in a good condition even my viser is not damaged but main parts like chasses, fork, shock absorber, handle bar are fully damaged.

What I came to understand from this is metal parts are more damaged than fiber, this means apart from the normal bike there is some mistake in my bike or in all passion pro.
This strengthened my doubt that metal damage may be due to the usage of pour quality of metal for the production of passion pro.

I am a mechanical engg and working in a steel plant, so I am very much aware about the chemistry and composition of metal used. I am working on the metal used for the production of pro chasses, hope I can provide the spectro meter result of the metal used within a week.
I had given my bike at 2nd June 2009 and within 2 days all the insurance procedure was over but even at 18th June my bike is not yet ready.What I cam to know from the dealer is they don’t have stock of pro chasses, they had ordered and it ill take some more time (2 to 3 week more)
I know I will get my bike even after few weeks and It will looks like a brand new one (only looks like). Let me tall you one thing I AM VERY MUCH AFRAID TO RIDE SUCH A LOW QUALITY BIKE. According to me a bike means something to use for a life time not a disposable thing, so it must be in good quality. Even such a small accident leads to such a big damage what will happen when any big accident occurs in future ( we cant predict anything in our life )

So will you please take necessary steps so that all of the Hero Honda customers can ride their bike without any fear and the same mistake wont repeat. Then only we will be proud to tell Hero Honda is the NO1 and we are the owner of a Hero Honda .

INDEPENDENCE DAY AND I FORGOT .BUT I ASKED HIM IN SIMPLE IF HOLIDAY THEN I HV NO ARGUMENTS AND IF ON DUTY U HV TO
ATTEND THE CUSTOMER IN ANY MEANS OF WAY.WE GOSSIPED AROUND 5 MINS BUT HE IS TRYING TO IGNORE ME.

MY QUESTION IS IF I HV CALLED HE SHUD RECD AND COULD TELL ME THAT TODAY HOLIDAY DO CALL
IN WORKING HRS THAT CAN CLOSE HIS GOOD BEHAVIOURNESS.

BUT NOW I FEEL I HV DONE WRONG OF CHOOSING HONDA PRODUCT.

I purchased HERO HONDA BIKE - EXTREME dt.[protected] from Pashupati Motors (Hero Honda Dealer)from New Delhi

There was problem in Pisten & Crank. i have checked my bike from Pashupati Motors (Hero Honda Service center) and he is charging from us 9000 Rs. My bike is under warrenty then why we pay that amount.

There was problem in Averaging, bettry . i have checked my bike everytime before service abd after service . its higher average is 49 km/liter . but when i purached it they told me that it give 60-70 km / litter . so what i do for that . i thought i will never purchased a hero honda vichle if my problem is not solve .

HONDA / MOTORCYCLES — DAMAGED OF FUEL OIL TANK

regarding req. id 10P00330 for item code 17500-K7E9102B(Fuel tank) & 83600-KTE85022D(crowl)

dear sir/mam,
I am having a honda shine bike. In december 2010 I got an accident & got damaged the oil tank , crowls & some other small accessories.
as i intimated to nearest honda showroom & they told me that on dated 20.12.10, a requiestion has been made against req. id 10P00330 for item code 17500-K7E9102B(Fuel tank) & 83600-KTE85022D(crowl). but till now no action has been taken from youur end.

kindly do the needful as early as possible.
I purchased new glamour Fi bike but it's engine is defective an jammed and battery was also defective
