[Resolved]  Homeshop18 — Defective Product delivered

We have ordered vide order no,[protected]Merchant name : Anksh
Product : Collection of 4 elegant Embroidered Kurtas

Delivery received on 5th Jan 2013. While Checking observed that product is defective, We have called to call center and lodge the compliant No. 77989017.

We have also received the complaint confirmation thorugh SMS and it was mentioned in the SMS that product will be repalced. However till today no one has visited to our place for replacement.

We have followed up so many times over phone but only SMS we are receiving with other complaint no like. Compliant No 78098217 & 78361071.

ONLY ASSURANCE BY HOMESHOP18 BUT NO EXECUTION.

Home Shop 18 — DAMAGED PRODUCT & NO PROPER RESPONSE

I (VINOD SINGH) HAVE BOOKED THE ORDER ON 20/7/2010 FOR SAMSUNG STAR(S5233) & THE PRODUCT CODE IS 42188 & I WAS CHARGED 8899/-(THROUGH MY CRIDET CARD). I RECEIVED IT ON 29/07/2010 BUT THERE WAS NO BATTRY, EAR PHONE WAS DAMAGED & THE PRICE WAS ON THE BOX IS 7350/- WERE U PEOPLE TOLD THE MRP IS MORE THAN 10000/- & OFFER IS 8899/-. I CALLED TO HOME SHOP ON SAME DAY & I GAVE THE COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS 3 POINTS. THEY TOLD AFTER CHECKING IT THEY WILL GET BACK IN 2 DAYS. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY CALL & I CALLED ON THIRD DAY TO KNOW THE STATUS OF COMPLAINT, THEY SAID IT IS STILL UNDER PROCESS THAN I CALLED AGAIN AFTER 2 DAYS & THEY SAID STILL UNDER PROCESS & I ASKED TO CONNECT ME TO THE SENIOR OFFICER, WHO CAN RESOLVE THE ISSUE. I SPOKE TO MR ABHISHEK(FLOOR MANAGER) & I TOLD TO CANCEL MY ORDER, HE SUGESTED ME TO SEND THE PRODUCT BACK, I ASKED HIM IF I SEND THE PRODUCT & BY THE TIME IT REACHED TO U, IF ANY THING IS MISSING WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. BY SAYING…WAIT FOR A MOMENT HE KEPT ME HOLD FOR 20 MINUTES & THE LINE WAS DISCONNECTED. WHEN EVER I CALLED, HE IS BUSY. ALMOST I SPOKE TO EACH & EVERY EMPLOYEE OF HOME SHOP 18 BUT I GOT ONLY 1 ANSWER HE IS BUSY. MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT WILL BE GENRETATED ON 16 OF EVERY MONTH, IF THIS AMOUNT COMES IN MY STATEMENT WHO’S GOING TO PAY & WHY SHOULD I PAY WHEN I HAVE NOT USED THE THING & IF DUE DATE CROSSES WHO WILL PAY THE INTEREST FOR IT.
I[censored] PEOPLE WILL NOT SOLVE THE ISSUE, THAN I WILL GO TO THE CONSUMER COURT FOR JUSTICE & I HOPE I WILL GET JUSTICE....
I ordered for 4 channel helicoper, when I opened the pack and tried to run the helicoper, Fans does not rotate, so the holicoper will never fly, not sure if these products are tested before delivering, after a week they I asked me to ship the product and then they will replace the product. let see what they do, will update in a weeks time again,

I'm also ordered a mobile but when i opened it, it cannot be switched ON. I think HS18 never checked/tested before packing for delivery. So, it's very risky ordering electrical & electronics items from them. They told me to send the defected mobile back, so i sent it back by DTDC. After a few weeks, I've asked them when will they ship the replacement but told me that they didn't receive the package, but the courier company told me they delivered it. there's nothing I can do, I've lost my Rs. 3999+100. So, I think If you sent it back, it will be lost or get the same defective item, If not, you'll be the luckiest person.

Refund of money for defective product.
I placed an order on 13 august 2012 and got it on 18th august but it was defective i leave a complain to homeshop18 customer care within 2 hours of the delivery of the product . and i reverted it back to homeshop18 on 20 August and they said that you will get replacement or refund within 7 days. But it has been more than of 3 weeks I have not got my product or my refund back from homeshop18. I have made call them 50 of time after every 48hours from 20th of August but every time they said you will get refund/replacement within 2 days. They are making customers fool.

"Receiving Wrong Item in Damaged and Broken Condition" from HomeShop18

1. The delivered product is not the ordered item (there are 2 versions with 2 different price tags).

2. Even the wrong item is not genuine and new: all the screws have been removed from the keyboard, they just fell down out of the box. After receiving the product, the right side of the panel was both cracked and broken, it was disconnected from the keyboard's electronic kit.

3. If the bad handling and pressure was the cause of damage, the item should have been broken only, but like I said the screws have been removed from this item, therefore, it is definitely not the "bad handling" problem while being shipped to destination.

4. This is cheating in its worst form because the delivered item has been modified and the person who has packed this item has been well aware of the defective product, in spite of that it is being packed and processed for delivery to the unlucky customer...

I am extremely unhappy and regretful with this purchase. Today's date is May 14, 2013. From the date of reporting the problem (May 9, 2013) within 45 mints of delivery, I have made numerous attempts of calls and emails but all in vain. It seems that I am being played with a mere promise of "Reverse Pick up" which apparently is not going o happen.

Hi, My self Davinder Singh . My concern is regarding the complaint against Home Shop 18 . I will suggest consumercomplaint.in to put one more star for very bad service . Because Bad service star is not enough for Home Shop 18 . First of all Home shop 18 is not a seller, they don't have any stock they are just earning money from the other shopkeeper's stock . Normally Homeshop 18 deals only defective products which is difficult to sell on a shop . i bought a mobile phone from HS18 Salora valuemaxx E1 . I ordered this phone on[protected] . Their commitment was deliver this phone about 3-4 days . I did wait on 7 i got the phone . But faulty one . I did call to the homeshop 18 they told me we will arrange reverse pick up . 8 october i received call from Blue dart that we are coming for parcel pickup at 4:00pm but didn't come . Today is about[protected] they didn't come . when it will be collected and will receive .

My suggestion for all of you . Don't buy any product from homeshop18 . They just sell defective products . If you have free time to waste then you can experience . because after receiving product you will go service centre or may be service centres will not be available then you will send back to courier with your own money .
