[Resolved]  Honda Unicorn — mis behaviour by dealer & defect of motorcycle

Dear Sir,

I’m really repenting for the decision I made to purchase Honda Unicorn.

I’ve purchased Honda Unicorn Motorcycle at Gopalka Honda, Dhansar, Dhanbad, Jharkhand on15.06.2009 bearing Engine No-KC09E-4117061, Chassis No: ME4KC097F98022091in the Name of Mr.Tapan Kumar Dasgupta. I faced problem in driving bike on highways, the Rear tyre wobbles & only after couple of weeks my bikes handle started jamming and the balance was also not equal. Nobody is looking on this issue, I have given my bike 2 times to dealer but no body is responding this. They don't have a good attitude towards customers they show a very rude attitude towards us. At last I am just fed up of the service provided by the Honda bikes. The cashier of the dealer ask me in Hindi like this” apko gari kharidnese pahle thok bajakar lena tha, gari apne kharidi hai to headek bhi apko jhelna parega. Ap kisiko bhi compailn kijie hamlog ko koi pharak nahi parta”

I think many customers dropped many times to buy 2wheeler of Honda only for poor service of your Showroom & behavior of staffs of dealer like that. At your Dhanbad Dealer no any workshop Manager, no any trained supervisor, Mechanic to handle with this problem. Workshop is now running with the non-technical office staffs. They have no any battery charger, battery tester & advanced tools for repair the bikes. They are washing bikes with poor quality surf. They are supplying battery with new bikes without full charges only filling with acid & fitted the same. My straight question is that is there anybody @ Honda2wheelers India, who can take the responsibility of such things???? I


The service is just like a DAMM they don't even look over customer’s problems.

I spoke to Mr. Fahrukh, Service Engineer of Jharkhand over telephone regarding the same.

Therefore I request you to kindly look into the matter seriously and solve my problem otherwise I have no option than to go to the court of justice.

Subject : Manufacturing defect in my Honda unicorn bike engine.



I JOTHI J purchased the Honda unicorn CBF 150s model from KUN HONDA, Adyar on may 07th 2009.I paid the full amount in cash for purchase. I was neither allowed to select the bike nor was shown prior to the delivery.KUN HONDA, Adyar has given me a bike with manufacturing defect in the engine.

Within a week of purchase smoke started coming from the engine gave the bike for the first service after crossing 750kms at KUN HONDA, Adyar and reported them about the smoke emission. They did not rectify the faults and said it will be set right in due course. My friend an automobile engineer told me that there should not be such smoke emission from a brand new bike and it could be due to manufacturing defect.

So I gave my bike for the second service at KUN HONDA ASHOKE PILLAR and told them about the issue. But without my knowledge, they have removed the engine and have done some repair works in it which has now led to very poor performance of my bike. The engine is totally damaged and there is a leakage in the place where they have worked. I am attaching the photos of my bike and the invoice for your perusal.

I reported this issue to MR.vaidyanathan, service Manager,

mobile no:[protected] KUNHONDA Adyar, but he did not respond promptly.

Again I reported this issue to venkateswaran, sales manager, KUNHONDA he said he will do the needful to repair the damage in a couple of day but I received no proper response from anyone till today, I’ve been made to run from pillar to post within 2 months of purchasing a brand new Honda product this has caused me a great mental agency and time loss.

The irresponsible and improper customer service provided by the Kun Honda executives has made me to dislike the Honda product even though I appreciate its performance

I am expecting a favorable response from you in this regards am expecting you to repay the money to compensate the loss I suffered or replace the bike for a brand new one.
sir my self faisal apka dealer bahut hi battamiz hai iske nature burhanpur town ke under koi uskee showroom me jaana pasand nahi karta honda ki sabhie bike best hai har customer uske nature se perashaan hai customer ko bike purchase karne me problem hoti hai customer se misbehaviour karta hai customer ko bad words kehta hai burhanpur sheher me honda 90% market hai iske nature ki wajah se customer dusri compani ki bike leene pasand karta sir ap is ka koi solution nikale please me ap se request karta hu aur mera pas unicorn aur maine meri unicorn sold karke dusri unicorn purchase kare hai mere paas honda shine bhi hai sir ap se request hai ke ap please dealer change kare
i have booked one honda unicorn from Marikar motors limited honda division P.B.No.9, M.G Road, Trivandrum-1
when i have asked the delivery date he said it will take one month i booked the unicorn black with red sticker but my friends who tool the same byke but from other honda division have recieved there byke within two weeks i havent yet recieved my byke the told me to cancel and buy from other honda division but i'm planning to buy a byke of bajaj or yamaha it will be more effective because if they behaves like this in the delivery time how will they behave during service so better do somthing quickly before my mind changes i booked the byke at 21/8/09 my bill number is CR/5328 i will be waiting till 6th or 7th i bought this byke as a gift for his birthday at 7th(18th b'day) but now i think the byke will arrive after his 20th birthday i think u will do anything before my mind changes.

I have purchased this bike at KUN HONDA - ADYAR and give in all my free and paid service at there regularly about 9 services i have done over there in that 6 free and 3 paid service all these entire service i have not really satisfied with the performance of my bike every time i take my delivery the service people in that showroom is not giving proper response over queries and doubt raised by me i spending lot much of money for this bike only because of service am totally fedup with HONDA bikes and i assure you that i will never recommend to buy a HONDA bike to my friends and relatives hereafter am really sorry to say this that much of pain i have faced by your service people. This is the last effort am taking that if you people can help me and sort out my issues i will be very happy otherwise i really mean this i sell my bike and go for other brands. I hope you people till take some necessary action regarding this issue my mail ID and contact number given below.
