[Resolved]  HotSpot Mobile stores — No status of the complaint and my mobile

This is a complaint about the Hot Spot mobile store at Madhuban chowk, Rohini, Delhi.

My name is Gaurav Kapoor and Iam a banker. Want to tell the harrasment which I am facing from the hot spot mobile store. I have purchased a Mobile Make-Fly, model no. B-700, wide receipt no.5827 and also took a Care Pack (kind of insurance) wide receipt no. 5830. from them in the month of April' 08.

In the month of august Ifaced a problem in the mobile that my voice is not audible to the person other side so I took the mobile to the same (Madhuban chowk, Rohini, Delhi) hot spot as I was told at the time of purchase that as I have took the Care Pack if I face any problem in the mobile I will directly approach to this outlet of hot spot.

The guy at the center Mr. Shashi and Mr Dhiraj says that they need to send it to the service center based at Pitampura and they submitted the mobile. The person at the service center Mr. Manoj says there is a software problem in the mobile so he has to send the mobile set to the main service center based at Okhla-Delhi.

This entire procedure took 15days and they send the mobile set back to the service center at Pitampura.
After confirming with Manoj he says that again the same problem is occuring in the mobile set so he need to send the set again to the service center.

I spoke to the store manager Mr. Dhiraj at hot spot Madhuban chowk Rohini. This guy doesn't have any status and was arguing that they are providing the service.
I don't know what kind of services he is talking about, Does it take 20 days to upgrade the software in the mobile?

I ask to replace the mobile he says its a company's call he can't do anything on it. Then what is this care pack for ?

I am totally frustated on their services.
Please tell what I have to do.

Sir,

After sales service is very bad in hot spot stores-Shopprix mall, noida. I had bought a sony mobile K 530i with which i was assured ablue tooth, worth RS 1200/-but till date its been 10 days that i have asked the executives continously, but nothing has been done so far. i regret buying my phone from there. Pl, dont buy ever from MOBILE STORE.

Kindly help me as the executives out there argue illogically and rudely.

I had purchased a NOKIA 5300 from and an Apacer memory card from Hotspots Retails ltd. No. 44, Sri Chamundeshwari Complex, 1st Floor, 100 Ft. Rd. BSK 3rd Stg, Bangalore-85, on 08/08/2008.

The memory card had a few songs stored from the time it was sold to me and was write-protected and unusable. I detected the problem later and went back to the store but was told that because there was a month's delay they could not do anything about it. Incidentally, they had not even broken the seal of either the handset or the memory card in front of me. I suspect that a used card was given to me by the dealer.
I am providing you with the item/lot no. of both the handset and the card. Request you to give me the name of the customer to whom the product was sold to resolve this issue and prevent further misuse of the hotspots brand with which I have had an excellent experience heretoforth.

Hotspot mobile store and Nokia mobile — Poor Product and Worst service

Few months back i have brought Nokia - N 81 from Hotspot Mobile Store at Ahmedabad, Satelite. Within one -two months i started having problems with my new mobile. Some number were not showing from contacts list, space was seen but no number was displayed another problem was while inserting number in the sms the "ok" option was not showing... I went to the store they said its software problem..????

Within 2 months of purchase the software has problem and that to from such a good company Nokia... i asked them... in reply they said we are not makers of mobile...we just sell it .Then who is responsible for this...we pay money to Hotspot Mobile store you are responsible for the quality of the product not us...we are not going to nokia company to say this... you should have take care of same. If Hotspot Mobile Store cannot take care of the quality of the products then they should not sell it. Moreover they fooled my by asking to buy some "care pack" which was around[protected] rupees. so if i have any problem with the mobile they will get it solved immediately.

They just said we will get it repaired, my say is I have to take trouble of taking mobile to store for repair, be without mobile for X no of hours or days. Above all there is Wastage of money, time and energy.

This is the first time i have brought the Nokia mobile from another shop otherwise i always used to always buy mobile from Nokia Priority dealer and i have never faced such a problem with Nokia phones.

I would recommend not to buy mobile from any Hotspot Mobile Store as they just seller of POOR QUALITY MOBILE.

They are having my mobile from last 2 months and yet not given me back. They just keep on telling its gone for repairing.

What is the way should i get my new mobile back.

Samsung — Issue with New handset set No. SCH-J600DASINS

I contacted Mr. Vikas and he suggested me to get it serviced, on the service center dated 27/09/08. I am shocked to hear that, why a New handset need to be send to the service centre? Anyway with the word of assurance from him I agreed to send and get it functional.The service engineer commented that there is some carbon on the battery.Can you convince me on this?

When I received the Handset the second day and I tried to connect it, I again faced some issue and the set even didn't get started.I again had a hot argument with Mr. Vikas in this regard, and he has no solution for me rather then sending it again to the sevice centre.I have already left the set on the store dated 28/09/08.

Could you please take the issue on the top priority and get it resolved. As I know, Samsung would never like to loose there valuable customer, but seeing above I am loosing the trust on the company, and it may defame the company reputation.

Please get back to me in case any clarification are required.

this is umesh my concern is that i purchased two mobile phones -nokia 5300 and sony erricson 350i on dated 8/8/08 and they said iwould avail 2 bluetooth set free but till date 1/10/08 i have not rceived they said iwould get within 3 days, 4, and going on...but last 2 days back iwent to the outlet but to shock the outlet is been shifted to some other place with prior notice...i dont know what to do out let of coles road
I also purchased a mobile Make-Nokia, model no. 3500-C and also took a Hot-Spot Care Pack from them in the month of Aug' 08.
Last month I faced a problem with my phone that the earphone jack of mobile is not working. Regarding this I gave my mobile in Patel Nagar Hot-Spot on[protected], till today I haven't received my phone back. And no one knows exactly where we complaint for this Hot Spot Service Centre.

Yes, It is right. I am also facing the same problem frm one of the hotspots outlet at pitampura.
I bought a Fly V100 on 4 oct 08. Within two hours my phone got hung when i made complaint n asked for its replacement, the concern person Mr. Manoj, manager of Hotspot, told me to go to consumer court n take yr mobile frm there. He n his emloyees were very rude. It has been 15 days i have not recieved my replaced phone n they have stopped taking my calls too.

I had purchased a HTC mobile from the Hotspot Mobile Center of Jaipur(Rajasthan) in the month of may-08. At that time there was scheme for of scratch card with any purchase of mobile phones. As i purchased a mobile from that store, i also got a chance to scratch a card. Doing so i found that i win DVD player.
They told that it will take maximum of two months time to deliver the DVD to me. For that i submitted all the required documnets and also talked on phone with their "Area Manager/HO". They assured me that i will get my gift within two months time, But i am still waiting for the same.
Hotspot is poorest in services and their executives on various centers are rude too.

after using hardly one week mic stop working i submitted my mobile to kachiguda hyderabad showroom they told me it will get repaired in one day but took 15 days to get repaired in the mean time every day i have to remind them about my mobile then one fine day they called me and said your mobile is repaired, after collecting i came to know that it has lost the quality sound of mp3 through earphone and loud speaker sound quality reduced to 50% level again i went there submitted and waited for week once they said there is board problem then they said it got repaired sound remain the same after receving mobile i found it has not repaired went back handed over all accessories and phone requested to exchange with nokia or return my amount still that is pending they says they have to speak to delhi office harrased like any thing i paid 7500rs, neither im getting my amount nor other mobile i request you PLEASE DONT BUY MOBILES AT THESE HOTSPOT SHOP AND DONT BUY SPECIALLY THEIR CARE PACK THEY ARE FOOLING PEOPLE BY SELLING CAREPACK WHEN THEY DONT HAVE PARTS OF NEW PHONE WHAT IS THE USE OF CAREPACK / IM GOING TO CONSUMER COURT TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THEM, , , , , , , THANKYOU REPLY,
The services are the same in Chennai, I am not going to wait for some one to take action, I am going to the Consumer court. Friends I advise you to do the same. These Kinds of companies will keep sticking knives at our backs till we do something about it .
Yes, even i faced the sane problem from hotspot, i got sx210 mobile in the month of aug now, the touchpad and keypad are not working, whn ever i call the showroom they ask me to ask service center and in service center the are so rude to ans, they always tell we will call back u never did single time, unhappy with the behavior of the hotspot people

Yes, I agree with the complaints made against HOTSPOT mobile stores. They sell mobile phones with carepacks and even after two days if any buyer comes with a problem, they ask him to go to service centre. Hotspot people also says that Govt. has made a rule that sold items will not be replaced, they will be serviced. While most of the foreign online stores give money back gurrantee in case of dis-satisfaction. I experienced this behaviour of Hotspot after purchasing Fly dual sim mobile from a Hotspot centre in Daryaganj, New Delhi. I have decided not to buy from HOTSPOT and you can decide at your own.
The mobile store shop is totally fraud i purchase one tata indicom mobile from shah ali banda branch, hyderabad they cannot provide proper service and gives false commetments.

they commit for rs.1800/-talktime comes in tata indicom mobile but not a single rupee comes in that.I am totally frustrated please take any action on that otherwise after some days later the mobile stores shops totally finished like that services

i have purchased HTC mo.phone from the hot spot center but after 3 month i have got problem in my phone i avisited on 4 different center but they were not responding well in the east delhi, saket south delhi every body said u have to go in the compony service center
in the responce of this question i asked add. of the service center of the HTC but the they didnt tell even in the est delhi they told me you can do what ever you want
so here i want to say this mind set of you are colleague may degrade you name

I was supposed to get a free bluetooth.They said it is out of stock and i will receive it tomorrow.
The nest day i went again i was asked to come the next day.The next day they said that they would call me, when the stock comes, so i need not worry.

After 3 days i called them.They informed that only a few had come and so they could not provide to us.I was informed that it will now take a weeks time.

Please take some action in this matter.There is so mush of advertising of the free bluetooth, but the stock is not there.
