[Resolved]  Hp / Laptop — bad service & cheating

I am the unhappy customer since I bought my laptop from HP.
Recently I went with a problem to

Problem was that my system was getting restarted abruptly with a blue screen saying “physical dump memory” . I tried reinstalling windows vista through my recovery disk but it failed while formatting the drive continuously and I was not able to install my operating system.
When I went at the service centre at Okhla they told me that your system is out of warranty and asked me 1400 Rs for installing operating system and I agreed on that.
Just after two days I got a call from them that my RAM & DVD Drive is not working and I have to pay Rs 14000 to get my laptop repaired. When I went there with my laptop DVD Drive was working.
Due to shortage of money I asked my laptop back.
In response these people made me wait for 1 hr and 30 minutes, moreover they charged me 300 bucks and returned my laptop with some more defects, like my screen is not fitted well and some of keyboard keys are not working. I realized the defects when I came back to my home because I couldn’t check it in the service centre as I was getting late for my office. But the question is that when the problem was with the RAM and DVD then why they have tampered with the screen.
I tried to call them but nobody is picking up the call even.
It is disappointing and ridiculous on their part as they are harassing people.
Could you please get my additional defects repaired because those persons are running service centre for earning profit only.

acctuly i bought one laptop through hp 2 month back and recently i find thatin my laptop was damage and when i ask to the delear where i purchase after one week they told me that my laptop was physicaly damage and i have to pay 6500 rs for it to the company why is this happen with me i go in concumer court for this and form u my complaint no is [protected] please notice this other vise i knock the door of court for this

Hello Friends i bought Compaq Presario V3424AU on July 2007 with 1 year warranty. Got the motherboard of my laptop Crashed twice within the said 1 year though properly taken care of by HP customer care. And after the warranty expired it started giving a series of problems over and over again.and on 20-12-09, it became completely dead. When taken to Hp's authorised service centre in Noida, they told me that motherboard of my laptop had crashed and needs to be replaced and that i would have to spend a minimum of Rs. 12000 and that too with only 3 months warranty. After that also it might experience problems and so i should extend its warranty to be on a safer side. I am literally hopeless now.

So people Never ever purchase HP products...why??? ask me now...
It will only cost u over n over again. HP is not at all worth the investment. Disgusting Service..really-2 irresponsible.
Hello Friends I bought a hp pavilion dv4-1241tx in 7september 2009 with 1 year warranty.After four monthe later its finger print stop to work and whole system blocked, due to this activity system not opend & fully stop. We submitted the laptop hp service center .After Six days passing he return my laptop with pirated window vista.Due to pirated windiw vista systems maximum configure&software stop the work Because original window Deleted I am literally hopeless now.

So people Never ever purchase HP products...why??? ask me now.

You can not blame the company for a particular product.I hv a lot of friends and relatives those are using hp for more than 3 yrs, they always happy with hp products ..see problem may arise from any companies any product but that means it is not that the company is bad .HP is the largest laptop computer produce They are producing millions of laptops in months, there may be 2 or 3 bad /defectives .company they always make a standard, same way competition is the another factor ..

What do you thing Ienevo or dell is producing all good laptops..I am a hardware prof. I know what are the parts used by DELL .in case of lenevo my personal advice not to purchase it now.
Dear Sir,

I am in possesion of Laptop, Model No. 6530S. The model is under warranty and since 3rd February, 2010 it is lying in HP Service Centre Dehradun for repair. However, Display Panel of the same has not been replaced after 10 days. As per the Service Centre, the same is being procured from Chennai.

Please look into the matter on priority.

I Purchased a HP laptop for Rs 54 k. i am facing mother board problem with in 2 years, How to get the replacement. I enquired the service centre. They told that this model laptops are facing the similar problem. Now, iam trying for consumer court to get the replacement of the similar models they in the world to get back and issue the right one.

Never buy any HP product, worst worst service, If there is any small problem you need pay full amount for that.

I have some question to HP team, i posted no of times but never got reply.

I requst all the people don't buy any HP product if you already buy and if there is any problem don't go HP service center becase they very big quotation than acutal product, any qusetion ping me :[protected]@gmail.com

1) Why HP is not repairing the product instead of simply replacing the product.
In my case the they are saying we don't know functionality of LCD screen
that what we just replacing instead of repair.
2) It is more than 70% of product cost, How customer can through away the
particular part even 99% is fine.
3) It is just cheating of the customers and regaining for selling of your products
again and again
all the compliaint are genuine ..money values for everyone..and what they do with the costomers really comes under the fraud.so there must be some serious action against it so that others users becomes safe from these cheaters ...such a bad service i hav nt see from any company in ma life

HP Laptop — POOR PRODUCT & SERVICE QUALITY

PURCHASED A HP LAPTOP IN MAY 2009 , COMPLAINED ABOUT EXCESS HEATING IN NOVEMBER 2009 , VISITED SERVICE CENTRE , GOT BACK LAPTOP WITH DAMAGED MOUSE PAD AND SAME HEATING PROBLEM. MAILED H.P. , CALLED THEM SEVERAL TIMES , THEY PROMISED TO CHANGE THE MOTHER BOARD BUT DID NOT SEND ANY MAIL. THIS MONTH WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED I AM STILL FOLLOWING UP BUT NOW I KNOW THAT THEY ARE FREE TO TAKE ME FOR A RIDE. I HAVE ALL THE CORRESPONDENCE BUT WHAT IS THE USE.

HOW CAN I BRING THEM TO PAY FOR THEIR BAD QUALITY & IGNORENCE TO INDIAN CLIENTS.
I purchased laptop hp pavilion dv6 1204 AU WORTH Rs.42500/- and was guaranted to recieve window-7 free of cost, I perchased the laptop on dt.29/10/2009 and was supplied window-7 on 12/10/2010 which held up my system and not worked .After my complaint the company did not resapond and after my enquiry told me that this is my problem and I should solve this my-self. And make a threat that if I went to court they will deny the problem and will go to the much higher court, so that I may not be financially able to fight the case

U need to be sure to give your device to professional service centres . Usually we try to get the job done in less price and end up in more mess of situaiton . You need to also reaize if you give to these kind of service centres the confidentaillty on data and the spy ware the may install to acess you device . Always cross check about the company with whome you are going to avail the services. Make sure before they do any service ask them to provide the Technical evlaution & re confirm to them that your laptop should be up & working after it is fixed . dont forget to ask the warranty on the problem looged . software is not not covered under warranty. Before u decide about goign to service centre cross check the problem in internet fourms. It will give you a better idea about your problem . I know a company which is based in Dubai . They have the chatting facility I have used there services many times, they are professional & they charge reasonable . I think they have service centre in India also not sure . HP — Warranty repairs taking undue long time

I purchased hp compaq presario note book in Jun 2010; on 19 Oct some keys of the laptop's key board stopped functioning. I took it to the authorised service center on 19 oct itself and was told that it requires replacement of key board which shall be done in two - three days. Eight days have passed & no action. I am a senior army officer being dealt with shabbily by the company. Not done bad show. I want my laptop back at the earliest - Col Pawan Bajaj, [protected]
I bought a HP laptop in July with lots o[censored]pgrades and cost over $1100. Both USB ports stop working in one month. After 8 hours of calling and diagnotics, they agreed to send me a repair box but college is in session so I wanted to postpone the repair until the semester break. Now it is near the semester break so i reactivated the service ticket and asked for the repair box to be send. To my total suprise, i was told this is wear and tear and it is not covered under warrantee. I tried to reason with them that USB stop working in one month, that's a defective computer. The service manager was not reasonable and understanding. I cant believe the service quarlity of HP has sinked this low.
Any idea how can I get my computer repaired?
