[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — Service persons not attending

My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in chennai.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine,The manager at Chennai is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

this IFB machine is totally kuda item please dont purchase this third class machine i m very much upset with this machine its not working properly since i purchased it my old semi automatic machine was much better then it.
I am a current user of IFB ELINA washing machine. When it intense spins, the machine vibrates daribely and makes so much noise. To solve the problem, when i have dialled Customer Care No[protected] the CSE always told me that hw will call me back but i am never getting call.

3. I requested the company for providing the service for this machine’s repair/installation as quickly as possible. But nothing happened.

I am very sorry to say this we are totally disappointed from this kind of response in intial stage itself. we have bought the machine by having fate on the brand name and their service. We never expected this from IFB service persons.

I registered a complaint for my washing machine on 28 May 2009. My complaint number is 3079624. Despite my contacting the IFB office every day from that day no one has so far cared to visit me or attend to the complaint. The officials are good at offering apologies but that is all. The officals I contacted are S. Shri. Srinivas, Bari, Manual, Tausif, Basha, Shahid, Suresh Pujari, and Vidhesh. The officails are irresponsible and shame less. I repent having bought the machine now. No more IFB in my life!
My IFB wasching machin is used in three monthy only. My IFb not working in dryer & water leakage.

I have purchased senator washing machine one year before. Since than, highly dissatisfy with the services of your service engineer's services and behavior. Washing quality detoriated day by day as well as water is coming out profusely. Number of request in terms of calls has already been made at your customer care number as well as to the area manager but all are unable to solve the proble. It seems their is some manufacturing fault in the machine. Hereby, I request keeping in view the fame of IFB company, kindly either replace it or overcome the problem.

IFB WASHING MACHINE — Not rectified the fault for 3 months

I have purchased a IFB Executive Plus Washing machine 7 years back and it is under AMC.
I booked a complaint for the problem "not able to run spin due to over noisy".
The complaint was booked on 21.04.2009 and complaint no. was 2946678.
After 2 days one person came and said one spare part to be replaced.
I informed him We would be out of station between 27.04.2009 to 07.05.2009.
He informed me to contact him when we returned. I informed him on 08.05.2009
and he would replace with in 2 days. I contacted customer care. It was known to me that my
complaint was cancelled. Again I registered a complaint no 3018756 on 12.05.2009.
Even though I requested many times their Service Manager and Area Manager, they were
always telling they will send service person with in 2 days.
Today ( 09.06.2009 ) I contacted the customer care. It was known to me that my complaint
no. 3018756 was cancelled. Again 3rd time a complaint was registered as 3120859 on 09.06.2009.
Down Time : 2 Months and 20 days ( 21.04.2009 to 09.06.2009).
Place : Chennai. Date : 09.06.2009.
Your service engineer visited on 8.6.2009 at 5 p.m. and check the defects in the machine and after failing to remove the defects carried the machine with him for proper checking and repair further as your engineer fail to remove the defects at site it will be given trouble so please give the replacement of the machine.

IFB Washing Machine — No action to complaints

I am appalled and disgusted with IFB services... I am at my wits end with anger and need an explanation about my complaint. 3125711

I am Mona Punjabi and i called the center to complaint about my washing machine on10th of June 2009 at 11.30am. I have clothes in the machine, the door refuses to open and the water and foam is leaking out of it in my kitchen. I told them its an emergency and was told someone would come asap. I know that the limit is within 24hrs. i left work and sat at home waiting for that someone to turn up.

next day when there still wasn't any help in sight, i called again and again and each time I was told "we are sorry and we apologize for the inconvenience... some one will come." this line was beginning to sound very patronising!!!
i was also told i would get a call back informing me of the status. No one bothered to call back... i must have made at least 8 calls. today is the 12th june and my clothes are still soaking in soapy water without any one turning up.

Why do you make such big promises when u have no intention of keeping them?

I will advice each and every person I know, NEVER EVER to buy any IFB products. You charge a yearly fee for my AMC and treat me like this?

I demand an explanation, a full refund of my amc fees since u have breached the contract... and if my clothes are damaged due to this in any way.. im going to sue IFB for damages.

my first complaint registered on 25th may 2009 my ticket no. 3064917
one person came and said some technical terms and disconected the hot water facility . then next person came it is wrong he should not disconnect the line, again he throu the line and went away. but my complaint was poor wateer supply and water flushing out is not 100% even when i use dryer whe t take the clothes out from w.m. water drenches out. next day i switched on the whole burnt and again i gave complaint they came and replaced charging me that wiring doesn't come under maintenance.again that service man said who gave this wrong connection because of this every thing was burnt. but my complaint was not fullfiled till today. i have made up my mind not to go for amc from next year. nowadays my daily rountine work starts with 1. today i must call ifb service my since advise to others is if both persons are employed dont opt for ifb because u have to waiste all your leave, waithing for ifb service tech.

service provider who takes AMC contract is the major culprint and IFB is also responsible for allowing this type of lethargy in services.

IFB / 'elena', Washing Machine, Machine Sl No 09498 — poor service

Dear Sir/Madam,
I purchased Elena model (Sl No 09498) from the shop VIDEOTRONICS,

Near Bank Of Rajsthan
Udaipu-313001...on the Date 18/3/2006.(Bill no 20480)
We went for the reputation of the company without caring for the money we had to throw (Rs 15500/-) for it which happened to be the cosliest among all the models of washing Machine of most of the companinies.
Our washing Machine is under AMC No 86403, starting from 07/4/08 and expiring on 06/4/2010.
In the month of April, 08, the pump of the machine was out of order and it was replaced.
NOW THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WITHIN 3 YEARS THAT AGAIN THE PUMP OF THE MACHINE HAS STOPPED WORKING
Inorder to lodge the complaint we tried the phon no given on AMC.That was[protected], which turnrd out to be wrong phon no.Again and again we tried the changed no (as per BSNL phon), but there was no response.
Somehow we managed to find the phon no of Jaipur Branch, the person attending the phon call is repeatedly making the promises for installment of new pump since last one week.AND WE THE CUSTOMER ARE SIMPLY WAITING ENDLESSLY, SINCE WE ARE AT THEIR MERCY.
Now I have reached to the conclusion that IFB is the worst company existing today, and what makes it further bad is their POOR CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE(I suppose worst)
In any case enough is enough.I plan to move to consumer court and want our money (for macine) returned so that we may go for the purchase of better brands.
