Income tax refund not received

I have still not received my income tax refund against the return for the Assessment year[protected] amounting to Rs.10230. The return was filed at Addl. Commissioner of Income tax, Range III, Chandigarh, SCO 73-75, Sec 17 D, Chandigarh. The receipt no. is 33004203 dt. 16.09.08.

Sir,
This is Vignesh from Chennai. My PAN Number is BDEPS0308H. I am yet to receive the income tax refund for the assessment year[protected]. The refund amount is Rs.6281/-.

I have checked the status of the same in the refund status website and it says "Unable to process the refund due to MICR code". I have also submitted a request letter to the Income Tax Officer, Salary ward VI(4) stating my new bank details in the month of May 2008.

I am yet to get the response from the I.T department. Can you please let me know what should be done to get my I.T refund.

I have filed my refund claim on 31st July 2007 which amounts to Rs. 4896 /- which is worngly calculated in my Form 16 A . My salary was Rs. 12000/- per month and my TDS was deducted Rs. 612 per month from the month of April-06 to Dec-06 which comes as Rs. 5508. Later on I have filed another revised refund for in ITR-1 for Rs. 5508 on 1st April 2008. It is almost two years and I have not yet received my Tax Refund. I personnaly visited Income Tax Office Bhubaneswar Branch office several times but they did not listen my grivance. I gave my bank details also for direct deposit.
