It seems Indiatimesshopping is the biggest fraud co in India ... Only promising and not delivering .. they have taken my money , delivered a fualty product , upon complaint taken it back and now for last 2 months only promising to refund back the money without any action ...
i strongly advise people not to buy from the Indiatimesshopping ..

I HAD Placed THE ONLINE ORDER OF A TOY "SINGING AND CRAWLING BABY" FOE WHICH THE AMOUNT OF RS 199/- WAS COLLECTED BY shopping.indiatimes.com by A CHEQUE (MY ORDER NO WAS :[protected] AND SUB ORDER NO WAS 1263573)

I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THAT A FAULTY PRODUCT WAS SENT TO ME WHICH WAS NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. I COMPLAINED TO THEM THEY ADVISED ME TO RETURN THE PRODUCT TO THEIR SUPPLIER M/S OJJAS ENTERPRISES, MUMBAI AND ALSO INFORMED ME THAT AFTER RECEIPT OF PRODUCT IT WILL BE REPLACED BY A NEW ONE WITHIN 10 DAYS, THEY ALSO ADVISED ME THAT EVEN COURRIER CHARGES SPENT BY ME WOULD BE REIMBURSED TO ME. GOING TO THEIR WORDS I SENT BACK THE PRODUCT ON 9TH APRIL THRU DTDC COURIER WHICH WAS DELIVERED TO THEIR SUPPLIER ON 10TH APRIL, WHICH WAS ACKNOWLDEGE BY THEM ONLINE .

SINCE THEN I MUST HAVE SPENT SEVERAL HUNDREDS RUPEES ON TELEPHONES, E-MAILS, SCANNINGS, BUT EVERY TIME THEY ASSURE ME THAT I WILL GET THE PRODUCT SHORTLY. I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY ARE NOT GIVING PROPER REPLY,

LAST WEEK I HAVE SENT A MESSAGE TO INDIATIMES.COM TO REIMBURSE ME THE OST OF PRODUCT +OTHER CHARGES IN CASH OR BY DEMAND DRAFT BUT TILL DATE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY REPLY FROM THEM NOR I HAVE RECEIVED MY PRODUCT,

India Times Shopping — Poor Quality & no refund

I had ordered one air sofa bed from India Times Shopping basis the advertisement given in Times of India newspaper. However, when received the produce was damaged. The same was returned as per the traders advise and guaranteed refund of full amount within 11 days. It is more than 40 days now and India Times Shopping persons are not responding properly to the complaint. PLEASE DONOT PURCHASE ANY ITEMS FROM INDIA TIMES SHOPPING

I have the following complaints about this product ( Order no[protected] :TECHCOM Wireless Headphone + FM - SSD-HPW-210)
which I had ordered on Oct 20, 2008 as follows:


I received the item only on 7/11/2008 after 19 days, whereas it is to be delivered within 7 days, that too after follow up and complaints with both your company and Blaze couriers, who does not have a telephone number that works. (Just key in Blaze couriers on a google search and see the numbers that come up, none of them are correct. Even the numbers given by “Just Dial” were incorrect. )

The product does not look new. It looks used with scratch marks on both head phone sides and also on the top.
Though in packed condition, the product inside was covered with dust, and could not be used without a thorough cleaning.
The product is not to my satisfaction and expectations.

I wrote to Customer Service at India Times Shopping the following day after receipt of item, and requested them for a refund. Though at the bottom of their web page it says '15 DAYS RETURN GUARANTEE' they are dilly dallying and just not bothered. It is just cheating the customer by false promises. The customer care executive cannot take any decision, cannot give any responsible reply and also won't connect me to a senior person in India Times Shopping. I told them to replace the item, if they cannot give me refund. Even for this they are keeping quiet and not responding. Over all a bad purchase experience. I shall never again purchase from this shopping web site!

I agree with all the other online shoppers with their comment on India times shopping comments. I felt that all of the complaints are valid. Even I had a worst experience while shopping online on India times. I had placed 2 orders on India times on 19 may and I was told that the products will be delivered within 7 working days and after that on 26 November I had received an e mail stating that my order was shipped and will be delivered to my place within 7 working days. I said o k. and then I called customer care on 2 December where in I was promised that I will get the products by 5th dec at any cost. Now you can easily find out that my orders did not get deliver on 5th so I called up on 7th dec and this time I was told that I will receive till today evening but I have got them. Again I called on 8th December this time the executive who picked up my phone was so rude and told me that I need to call on 9th dec and can complaint. When I wish to speak with any of the manager I was told that they are not available. Later I was put on on hold for 21 minutes and then I hung up and dialed customer care no. again this time I was again put on hold for 11 minutes and no one came back. I am now seriously looking forward to teach a lesson to these cheaters.
I had ordered a dual sim phone from india times shopping 4 months ago. twicw they deliverd a wrong product to me. and now they are not delivering the good product. it's been only a headahe and a wasatege of money.
I had placed an order for a dual sim phone with india times shopping about 4 months back . They delivered the product twice which was faulty. Since the second time I have sent back the product to them, they have not delivered anything to me.
10 days ago i had ordered a product that was shown in the newspaper i was given a number and told that a person will come to my house to collect the cheque, i waited and waited but no one came then i called again and was given another no and told a person will come within 24 hrs. 3 days have passed since but no one has come . i feel this is all a hoax nothing else.its only a waste of time and money .at least i was lucky to have come across this site and had not paid through credit card.

India Times Shopping — Purchase a Handset on dated 27.06.2009 but 2 times problem occurred in this instrument.

I am Arush Sharma s/o Bhupesh Sharma. I had purchase a 1 Handset from India Times Online Shopping web site on dated 22.06.2009 & six month warrant for that handset. After 2 months purchased this handset its handset LCD occured problem I am returned this but they are repair it and return back to me. After return 15 days same problem occured in this handset. This handset cost 3149/- (including handling charges). Now I am not satisfied for this handset and same for India Times services.

Kindly help me, I am not able to beare this cost. I agreed to take handset for any branded company. because India times web site nor maintaioned this is chiness made handset.

India Times Shopping — Malfunctioning & Duplicate Product

I searched through internet and finally selected a i9 Dual SIM 3G Multimedia Phone for Rs.6690/- after discount of Rs.8305/- (MRP Rs.14995/-). The amount was paid by Net Banking. After 4 days I got a courier from Teknix. When I opened the box the MRP of the Instrument is Rs.3450/-. There is no manual. THE TOUCH SCREEN WAS NOT PROPERLY WORKING. The same was mailed to Indian Times cust care, who has given the phone no. of TNT courier which is not correct.

It is good, if they refund my money immediately.

India Times Shopping — Non delivery of product

I have ordered for one 2 GB MP3/MP4 player on 20.01.2010 and which was promised to be delivered within 7 working days. The price (Rs. 1245.00) was paid by me on 20.01.2010 itself through net banking. The product has not yet been delivered to me. I have complained thrice to them but no action has not been taken so far. They are now disconnecting phone lines also and it is becoming very difficult to persue and contact them. Everytime they are delaying the matter and also not giving any assurance on refund of the money paid by me.

India Times Shopping — Non receipt of goods

On 28 February 2010, I booked Reebok Kit with Living Media, India Times Shopping through credit card by payment of Rs. 3298/-. I was assured Reebok Kit, comprising of SHoes, Teashirt, Sunglasses, socks. It was said that delivery will be made within 15 dys. Purchase Reference no. given[protected].
Till date the items are not received, nor any information. Kindly help me to get my dues.

I'm thinking to gift my aunt a good mobile on her birth day which has good camera quality since she is very fond of photography and i think Nokia would suit best coz the battery back up is good and it has many service stations if there is any problem with the phone.

But, my main concern is before i order shelling out the bucks i just wanted to make sure that the service is trust worthy or not . I had gone through the reviews and complaints from India times shopping customers and fear whether if i place any order will she receive the order or not if yes then will it be the exact product with out any defect or not ? Kindly suggest whether i can use this service or not .. is this reliable ?

India Times Shopping — Faulty Mobile, does not work

I paid Rs. 2750 for Sigmatel S-400 model. But I got a different model which does not work. I submitted complaints 4 times to the India Times Shopping, and each time they requested me to return the faulty handset. I returned it 4 times, but each time the Seller promptly returned back the same handset to me without opening the box. I sent them e-mail hundred times, called them over phone 50 times , but to no avail. I called the Seller over phone, but one of the two numbers is found invalid. Most of the time the Seller does not receive the phone call. Two or three times, one employee of the seller told me that he does not know anything.

Now, the invalid handset is kept with me like a toy. I am simply cheated by India Times. Beware of such pickpocket by India Times.

India Times Shopping — Wrong size delivery of Silhouette Supreme

I refer to the delivery that I have received today for Silhoutte Supreme which was placed on 19th June over the phone.

I was attended by a lady staff who informed me that she is sending XL pair as the waist size is 43 inches. However, to my surprise, the packed contains “L” size pair. The cover states that “L” size is suitable for waist size 83Cms-110Cms.

You can even check in the recorded conversation that I had repeatedly ask for the right size and she too assured that XL will fit right, however the product that is received is not of correct size. This is as good as ordering for a Raincoat and you delivery an umbrella.

Thanks for the consideration, however as your staff, even you have given me the false information. even today when i called in to place an order and asked how many days will it take to deliver the product, i was told 3 to 5 days, no mentioning of verification or 7 days.

Now if you say WITHIN 7 DAYS (as per your mail). then its already 7 days and within 7 days means by 6th day or atleast on the 7 day, which again does not comply with your comittment.

I placed an order on 29th July 2010 morning around 10 am. but the order was verified on 31st (delay on your side) Now if order is verified on 31st, then the order should have been shipped long back. its almost 12 noon of 9th August 2010 and i have yet not received any sms or email confirming that my order is shipped or not and to top it up no one at the call center has any updates on the same.

So i have all the rights to assume that the order is not yet shipped on the 7 day after order verification. And by 8 pm of 9th August 2010 your call center will get closed thus completing the 7th day.

after giving in all the details about the harrassment doen to me and mental toarcher, Please refund my money back.
and dont give me all the crap over again.

NOTE: All this time i was communicating with India Times Shopping on the same email id and [protected], and the number i used to make calls was [protected]. All the coversation happened so far should have been recorded.

If i dont receive any update from you by EOB today, i'll have to seek legal help.

India Times Shopping — Torn tattered broken Kitchen Dicer

I had ordered a Kitchen Dicer order number is[protected]. We received the Dicer yesterday i.e 10.09.2010. On opening the delivery product we were shocked to find the following.
1. Completely broken Dicer.
2. Torn and tattered packing.
3. Pilfered product.
4. No working manual.
5. Price tag removed.

This product was advertised in the India times esteemed daily newspaper and considering the fact that India times is a renowned Brand we never thought twice before ordering the product. But we never had the slightest of idea that we will receive a pilfer product. Even the dicer is made of plastic which has the possibility of getting broken during its use. We are extremely flabbergasted after receiving this type of service from India times and vow not to shop any more. I will also let all my friends know about this type of poor service rendered by IndiaTimes shopping division and urge them never to book any product under this banner. I will put forward my complaints all over the grievances addressing mechanism available over net and ensure that the propaganda ensures a fair deal for others. On seeing the product it appears that this product had been in a store for long and also reminds the goods available in Delhi footpath. I have lost Rs 1389/- but will ensure that neither of my friends and relatives get duped in this type of online shopping. Removing the price tag from the product proves the audacity of the Online shopping to directly dupe customers in organized manner. It was also given that the guarantee is for 3 months. Kindly ensure the immediate removal and replacement of this faulty product and ensure that others are not duped in this online shopping.

India Times Shopping — Extremely poor quality products and no care

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!

I just wish to let the people know about cheating online shopping portal of IndiaTimes. all their vendors are cheat and putting substandard quality products which hardly last.

I bought a blackberry (thought cheap and manufacturer warranty). I got a defective piece - track ball was not working. I contacted Indiatimes and they asked me to go for manufacturer support. When I checked with Blackberry support team, they said that the product I got has no support in India from manufacturer. I checked from Indiatimes and they stopped supporting me. They asked me to contact vendor directly. What a pathettic? Finally I landed to pay to get the piece repaired which finally stopped working after 6 months.

Same thing happened with two other products I bought in the same order. One was blood pressure monitor and other weighing machine.

Extremely cheat shop Indiatimes. Please be aware before doing any deal with them.
They are big cheater - never ever buy a product from India times shopping

India Times Shopping — Non receipt of payment on return of faulty mobile.

I have purchased one mobile from Indiatimes Shopping which is having dual SIM facility an dual camera for Rs.3,689/- (Rupee Three Thousand Six Hundred Eighty Nine Only) with the order No.[protected].

I cancelled the order because that mobile was now showing any range in my office for any service provider, whereas another mobile was providing the service using the same SIM.

Another problem is that that moble was not showing caller ID's name which was stored in the mobile. Hence, I have cancelled the order and returned back the mobile to the company on 26/4/2011 from Mumbai with all accessories. The said mobile was received to the company on 27/4/2011 but till date I have not received my money back.

It is a case of cheating the people by selling unbranded cheap mobiles by such a big company.

My complaint is that
1) they are not having any showrooms for showing the product.
2) The products which they sold are not the branded one.
3) They are taking cash while purchase of product.
4) After cancellation the procedure to return the product and getting money back of faulty products is very tedious.
5) They are taking hell of a time to return the money back after return the total product as it is.
6) They are returning the amount in DD instead of cash, but they are taking the cash from customers.


I hope you will consider my case sympathetically.
