[Resolved]  IOCL — complaint against Indane GAS LPG service

I m a consumer of Indane gas. My consumer no is K16094 & the agency Name is Kasna Gas agency, Greater Noida. I had booked for a cylinder (online booking ref no 4, at 8:46pm on 14 Nov 2008) but till now it is not Delivered at my home. Also their phone is impossible to get.

I have indane lpg consumer connection with 'Sheel Gas Agency' at Pootkalan, Rohini, New Delhi. Their contact numbers are[protected], [protected]. The agency is 4 Kms far away from my residence. Since I transfered my connection to them, they never pick up their phone, either it keeps ringing or they keep it off the hook. Everytime, I need to go there for booking the cylinder. I am very fed up with their service. Please take some steps to ease the booking process.

Previously i used to book cylinder on 6th of month but nowadays they keep on postponding my booking date. Now they are telling that your Booking date is 13th only.Refer to their delivery date, they are postponding booking date. Delivery also they are not giving in time. While booking they told that with in 1week you can get delivery. But after 10 days also, we have to follow with them for another one week then only we can get refill.

Because of their delivery delay, simply they are postponding booking date which will make to skip one month. They are also not attending our Phone calls every time we have to go to direct by taking leave which make us panic.Our Agency name is MAYUR GAS SERVICE - Peelamedu - Coimbatore. Our customer Number is 28318 .Please take immediate action against this type of complaints.

Indane Cooking Gas — Procedure not Consumer Friendly

I got Domestic Cooking Gas Connection From Vineet Gas Shimla. Later What they require(Help line of Indane) is that Cylinders should be Deposited there and there after to apply for the same at new place.Indane has its own control on its dealers and all this can be avoided Just at their own level.It will be serving better .Otherwise the present procedure they advise is making the people to wait for cooking food till they do not Complete these requirment and get new cylinders At new place.Some service charges in such case can be fixed.

Indane - LPG Retail consumer — Non-delivery of Refill even after two months + No action on DBC request

I am writing in ref to consumer number 16898 (With Panakkal Agencies, Kunnamkulam) in the name of my mother (Mrs. Padmavathy Vasu) at my native village, Maruthancode, Thrissur Dist. Kerala. It is more than 3 years since we booked second cylinder. Every time when we enquire about the second cylinder the reply is that the agent has no instruction inthis regard from their HO. Lately, in Jan 2009 I had written to your sales officer (Thrissur Dist.) and he had informed me that IOC has not released DBC in Kerala since 2005 and that he hoped to start release of DBC shortly. Nothing has happened thus far. Everyone in my village faces this problem. Request you to please inform me on the matter as to when the consumers can expect to receive the second cyliinder of Indane. Further, the refilled cylinders are delivered after 60 days from last delivery, even if the cylinder is exhausted say in 40 or 50 days. Why such a long delay. Instead of this practice, why the cylinder is not delivered in a week's time after booking? Please look into this aspect also. Also would like to know if this is the requirement of Indane that refilled cylinders can be delivered only after 2 months of last delivery?

IOCL — Wrong billing

Dear Sir,
I have made an application to discontinue my postpaid number([protected]) in jan 2009 after making full and final payment of Rs. 1534.00 in january 2009. After making request i have stopped using the number but my billing was continue. I talked to airtell customer care 121 and requested to stop making uneccessary bill. But till May 2009 it is continue. This is creating problem to me. You can check the status of my number. Please stop making wrong and unecessary bill.

Indane LPG — Keeping the phone no busy. Long gap in delivery of refill

The reception telephone is always showing busy tone making booking by telephone impossible at Samarjeet Memorial gas agency at Bokaro Steel City.

The booking for refill is made 21 days after delivery, instead of booking date of previous refill, making a very long gap in supply of refill.
I have also lodged similar complaints in the month of May 2009 but there was no response from anybody and complaint is still unattended. I think lodging such complaint nowadays serve no purpose as corruption, malfunction is the order of these days.

Indane LPG Gas — Defective Cylinder

At the time of changing the cylinder on 01-07-09, we found that the 'Washer' of the cylindr is completely broken and the Gas starts to come out from the cylindr instantly.

Indane LPG — Defective Cylinder

Today I have got delivery of cylinder from Rama Indane, Sector-21C, Faridabad against booking no 456. My customer no is 812.

At the time of delivery I found that after switch off the Regulator the burner in gas stove still is burning. Immediately I told the same to the delivery boy but he replied that it is ok and left.

Then after discussing with our neigoubrs I called Rama Indane and complaint the same. They replied that one person they are sending .. and given one mobile no - [protected] which was either switch off or not reacheable through out the day. At least 4 times I called Rama Indane and requested to send one person but no one came till now (5.44 p.m ).

I stay alone in my flat. From Monday to Friday I will in office from 6.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. Sunday is indane distributor closed. In the mean time if anything happens then only god can help me.

Is it safe and reliable service ?
Whether refilling done or not the concerned officials get monthly salary. ie., even they are not attending the consumer complaints, they will definetly get salary. Therefore they won't worry about customer difficulty.

IOCL — not reliving new gas connection

I m resister a new Indane gas connection at ABHILASH GAS AGENCY, INDIRA CIRCLE,RAJKOT.ON FEB-2009.MY Gas resistration no is-317.I am submitted all relevent document but still today i m not reciving residential gas connection.

We would like to draw your kind attention to the fact that we the inhabitants of Nabadwip town in the District of Nadia, State-West Bengal, Pin- 741302, have been suffering a lot for getting supply in connection with Indane Gas Cylinder in our houses. We already lodged complaint in this regard to Indian Oil Corpn., Kolkata but no action has yet been taken by the authority. To cut the long story short brief points are furnished below for your kind perusal.

1. There is always a crisis perhaps artificially created by the distributor as we feel. As a result every consumer has to beg for a cylinder. The name of the distributor is M/s. MAHAPRABHU INDANE SERVICE, CODE NO. 99130002, Address: RAMSITA PARA, P.O.- NABADWIP, DT.- NADIA, PIN- 741302, STATE- WEST BENGAL; Prop.- Mr. Kartick Chandra Saha ; Ph. No.[protected].

2. There is 30 days gap between the date mention in cash memo and physical delivery of gas by the distributor. Whereby the distributor has imposed local restriction on the consumer. One consumer can book his cylinder after 15 days of physical delivery date which is signed by the delivery man. Thereafter a gas cylinder reachES to the consumer after 45 days.

3. In gray market cylinder are always available with higher price. The Distributor’s staff, officers & delivery man are engaged for doing the nexus.

4. In every corner under distributor’s jurisdiction & out of his jurisdiction the restaurants, dhabas, sweet shops, auto rickshaw & small 4 wheelers are using domestic gas which is supplied by this distributor through his delivery men. Therefore those are also benefited in costing, for purchasing of domestic gas cylinder with higher price in place o[censored]sing commercial gas cylinder. Special care is taken from distributor’s end to ensure their regular delivery.

5. We are habituated to get LPG 10 -12 Kg in place of 14.2 Kg. Instead of repeated complaint, the distributor does not bother to pay any head to their complaint.

6. The new connection will be made if applicant commits to purchase cooking oven, apron, gas light, gas table etc. from distributor whose price is so high than local market. In so many cases this distributor disagrees to give new connection after produce original cash memo of ISI marked oven.

7. But the irony of fate that this Distributor has got “Star Distributor” but existing consumers has not got this facility.

Apropos of it, kind intervention in this matter is solicited after snooping out the truth of these complaints so we the citizen can get rid of the serious difficult problem which ought to be accomplished answered or dealt with.

IOCL Indane LPG — undue delay in delivering the booked LPG cylinder

We are registered with TUCS,Thiruvanmiyur,Chennai,[protected] for Indane LPG.At the time of booking,we were told that within aweek the cylinder will be replaced.Even after 10 days when it is not delivered we try to contact the agency by phone,the above mentioned No.most of the time the phone is out of order,or remain unattended.Then we go to the agency personally,they give vague reply that the delivery boys have not turned up or load yet to come from IOCL etc.& promice that within 2 days it will be delivered.Againt the delivery doesnt take place.Again we have to repeat this excercise 2 to 3 times,in this process about 20 to 25 days are lost.This is our experience with this agency for the last one year.It is learnt that they are selling the cylinders in black by diverting the same from among the booked ones.I hope suitable action is taken against the staff to redress the problem

IOCL — insufficient dealing

I am Yatheesh C. , Geethanjali, Altharamoodu P.O. Pin: 695102 a costumer of IOCL. My card serial No. 20709. customer No is NC 670026. I booked for gas cylinder on 29/8/2009 Booking No is 10729. But I did not get the refilled gas till now. There is no responds from agency office and telephone receiver is always out off order purposefully. I went directly to the office on 3/10/2009, then they said that cylinder has already sent. But If any emergency, like gas leakage or other dangerous condition we have no way for help or contact from agency office. They are selling the gas cylinder in black market. Please give me a reply as early as possible.

Dear Sir,

I have Applied for New Indane LPG connection at Blueflame Gas Agency Sundarpur Guwahati on 22nd July 2009. The person concerned noted my application as serial no. 364 and asked me to come after 2 months, when I approched the agency on the said date he told me to come after one week.again when I enquired on the said date, he looked in register and said serial no.364 has already been givento some other person, when I insisted that you have given this number to me and noted it in your register he searched some documents and said your numer is now 1251 as noted by computer and you have to wait longer, further he mentioned that he is out of regulator and enquire about your status at the end of the month.

I request you kindly to look into the matter and do the needfull in order to save me from further harrsment as you know everyone time is valuable.received any connections from IOCL office.
