[Resolved]  Irctc — Refund of Failed Transactions not processed- No Response from IRCTC

Dear Sir/Madam,

Two of my transactions with irctc.co.in failed and my credit card was debited with (Rs 597 +Rs 597) on 29th Dec 2007. I have sent 3 emails with my failed transaction ids to the IRCTC customer care ([protected]@irctc.co.in) asking for an update on these failed transactions. I did not get a reply to any of these emails till date. Also I called them on their customer care phone number and after inumerous attempts, I got connected and spoke to the person, but he was not able to explain me or provide any details for the failed transactions. He just kept me on hold for a long time and then finaly asked me to call later, which induced more frustration and anger. :-(

Iam unaware of to whom should I escalate this matter to get the refund. Will someone help me on this?

PLease refund amount of Rs.432 for a failed transaction. transaction ID [protected].

I too had experienced the same problem with irctc once for Rs.143, since its small amount, i contacted twice with all screen shot details to irctc care, but no response, i didnt get my money back. i didnt want to waste time by arguing for that amount.

But i have same problem for Rs. 558, booked on 12.6.09, its failed transaction, but i didnt get the failed notification from irctc, so i have mailed about this to irctc, let me see the response.

IRCTC — Refund of Failed Transactions not processed

I booked one sleeper tatqal ticket from Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam through internet on 30-06-10.
I used the ICICI gateway to make the payment. But the transcation failed due to system fault at irctc website(session expired).
Due to this the amount was debited from my ICICI account ,but the ticked was not booked.
I checked the the booked history and could not find any ticket.

The details are:
Train No. : 2728
Train Name : Godavari Express
PNR Number : <not issued as the ticket was not booked>
Transaction id :[protected]/[protected]
Date of booking the ticket : 30-Jun-2010
Date of Journey : 2-Jun-2010
Total fair : 380 Rs

Can you please credit the amount (Rs 380/-) to my ICICI account
