[Resolved] Irctc — Poor Response | |
I had booked a ticket for a journey from Lokmanya Terminus to Chiplun by Matsaygandha Expresee dated 12/02/2010 through IRCTC. There were 4 available seats in 2nd AC. As 5 of my family members were travelling the 4 of the seats were confirmed and the 5th was wait listed as WL5. I had a query regarding why the 5th person was wait listed as 5 and not 1 or RAC, I called up the IRCTC chennai helpline (as no one was picking the call on the delhi helpline, the phone was just ringing). The customer care executive wasent even bothered to listen to my query and constantly kept repeating "call 139". I even tried telling him that there was no way i can get this query answered through 139, but all my efforts in trying to even talk were in vain. There was no answer to my query till the end. It was an unexpected and pathetic service experienced. I would not recommend this service to anyone else from now on which i used to do before Was this information helpful? | |
