god save the online ticket booker as irctc is above god
I am also facing the same situation as Mr Bharathbvajan. irctc are not responding or solving the problem.
All .. I got around this issue. Actually the "Email Verification Password" is the new password that was sent to us in the registered email id when tried the 'forget password'. Then for "Mobile Verification Password" generate a instant one to your mobile. With the above two the password can be reset...!
But, still no clue why I had to go through all this when I never forgot my original password...!

Lousy reservation service. No help from ? IT.Why does a foreigner need a "mobile" number in India. Anyway I did fill a relative s' number but the code sent to them could not be verified by the irctc system. This is not rocket science. Wake up.
